Fire ants, Asian Bullet Ants, Carpenter Ants, Yellow Crazy Ants, Black Crazy Ants, Weaver Ants, and more! I've owned many ant colonies in my life, but this week I believe to have created my favourite ant farm of all time! In this episode, we welcome back the Titans (Asian Marauder ants, a.k.a Carebara diversa), and move them in to a new castle-themed ant farm. Beyond the aesthetics of this new habitat, I also made sure to learn from my mistakes in the past! This ant colony will surprise you! Hope you enjoy this week's ant video! Ant love forever! Dunno about that. I think the video quality and his enthusiasm for ants is great, but the way he narrates is cringy imo, and I don't like the over-the-top dramatisation. Don't get me wrong, this guy is obviously a master ant keeper, but i'd prefer if he narrated the action more and less forcing of emotion and "AC FAMILY". Makes it seem condescending.

I love how all the queens kinda have their own personalities First queen acts like the empress of the colony and glides down the tube on her sisters like a parade float The second was a little reserved and quickly went into the nest. Guess she doesn’t like too much attention The third is the nimble one and had no trouble with the tube and getting to the nest The fourth is somewhat a klutz with her slipping, but she’s determined and makes up for her mistake with the help of her family The fifth is a little more graceful than the others, she knows what she’s doing And finally the sixth, guess she’s a little shy given how she was the last one, and afraid of heights because she climbs down sideways, either that or she’s a goof

I don't even know how I discovered this video and this channel but dude... It was quite a ride watching this. I started like "Eh, I'm bored. Let's watch this". And I kid you not, I was absolutely enthralled in a matter of minutes. Not only the quality of the video. The thing that sold it to me was the absolute and brilliant PASSION you showed all through the video. The way you talked, explained and got excited with every step of the colony... Are you sure that you want to call them "The Titans"? I feel like we should let the old Titans rest, and keep them in our memory as they were. And as for this new colony: Since their home is Mt. Olympus, I feel like the perfect name for this colony would be The Pantheon. They are the new Gods that have moved into the halls of this holy mountain, and their rule will indeed be mighty and long.

Many people have said your sentiment, and I agree with it. I love this channel, but I hate that he uses "back from the dead" or "return" if it's not one of the original queens. I would feel better about it if the old name was the result of a poll. I think he at least calls the Jawbreakers Jawbreakers II, which does help, but I rather he asked first. It's like the Jawbreakers and Titans themselves had no value to anyone and are easily replaceable. It feels like those colonies themselves don't have anything that stood out about them except what species they were. It feels like the colonies don't have any unique personalities

I didn't even know ant farms like this were even a thing until I came across this video! Your genuine enthusiasm, abounding joy and deep love for these little creatures is absolutely wonderful and completely contagious. As I was watching this video, one by one my family members ( husband and young adult sons) got happily sucked in then were completely captivated. I tryed to make an ant colony back in the '70s. I had two pieces of round glass that I left only about a inch between in space. I really wanted to see the tunnels they made. It was crazy how fast they began to construction. My mom made me let them loose after we started having escapes. I can't remember what happened to the set-up. They were just common ants found in our backyard in California. I love that thing.

I was on the couch and I found an ant crawling on me. I didn’t freak out and hurt it but took it on a paper towel and released it. After I was sad that it wouldn’t find it’s way home (article said he’d be okay.) anyways, I somehow ended up here. This was epic!

I'm just imagining that scene. Ant queen is moving, but loses grip and falls down the mountain. Ants and guard immediately start ringing "RED ALERT!!!!" And like royal guards come rushing down the driftwood, epic marching music plays as they hurry to save their royal highness and help her into safety. They find her and majors immediately start yelling orders "Secure the perimeter! Workers, help her royal highness into the nest! Soldiers, do not let any intruder close!" "SIR YES SIR!!!"

I'm actually super overjoyed and proud of you for not giving up, and for doing this again. It was the saga of the Titans and the curse of the dragon that brought me to this channel and really started to follow eagerly. To see it revitalize warms my heart, and is very encouraging with how much you have learned since the passing of them in the past. Best of all, it really keeps you guessing what will happen week to week, what amazing or heartbreaking things may happen. I hope Olympus will last or a long time, and never fall, that their troubles will be minimal, but with 6 queens, I am sure they will stand the test of time with ease, no more invaders to overthrow the kingdom.

I think the worker ants carried dirt into the tupe to help the queens walk through without sliding, hey may have been in a rush to move so they didn't do a great job of dirt placement.
