AAAAAAHHHHH!!!! PAAAAAIIIINNNN!!!!!! I broke my hand yesterday because of the hate comments I get all the time. I was so angry that I punched a hole in my computer. Please don't hate me, dear kam
My husband made fun of me for using two moisturizers on my face (one for my whole face and one for my eyes only) and then I showed him the costs of eye creams I COULD be using that are marketed to women of my age, and then the cost of the one I use for just my eyes $12 ELF Holy Hydration and he said he’s happy I have Hyram 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I gave my mom the skinfix moisturizer while she was going through chemo which REALLY dried out her skin. She loves this moisturizer and I could not be happier that it really did help her skin so much❤️ Thank you Hyram!
I have normal/dry skin and ADORE the Honest Beauty Hydrogel Cream. It's been my daily driver for a year now and it just works. The price is right, and I love the dewy finish.
Hyram: "It has really good ingredients to support collagen production within your skin" Me, a person with a genetic collagen defect: "But can it give my collagen a tutorial on how to be collagen first tho"
If you have sensitive skin, beware! That Ultra Repair Cream was recently reformulated to include eucalyptus OIL instead of the eucalyptus EXTRACT! Kelly Driscoll talked about it in her FAB review. I loved the old formula, but my skin HATES eucalyptus oil! Will not be repurchasing.😭
@@AutsiticAlien007 I saw Kelly Driscoll talk about it, then compared the ingredient list on my jar to the one online. That last ingredient was different. I've looked, and I can't find a comment from the brand about this. What pisses me off is that it's marketed to people with sensitive, eczema-prone skin! It's so irresponsible! I have been a big fan of their products for ages, but my enthusiasm has certainly waned after this. I sent them a DM and commented on Instagram to ask about the change -- no response.
I have very dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin and have also stopped using it for this reason. They already had scented variations of the cream available and to my mind they wanted to force us to buy the more expensive face creams (in a 50ml size) they sell instead. Totally p#ssed me off as I had used it for years. My skin reacts badly to essential oils and I fortunately found out prior to repurchasing (also from Kelly D). I've moved onto another brand for my moisturiser for this reason (either Paula's choice or skincity). I will still buy the oat toner and some other items from them though, hoping they don't "reformulate" these too.
@@karatalksaboutstuff7333 oh my god! Brands need to actually say "hey we changed the formula" because of so many reasons. This to me speaks very clearly that they dont care!
Breathing a sigh of fresh air because I bought First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Collagen Cream and realized that wasn't the one he talked about in another video so I'm glad to see its still "Hyram approved" Loving it so far!
Hyram, just wanted to say a huge thank you!! My skin has transformed after years of doing the wrong things thanks to you! I had been wearing makeup for 7 years pretty much every day to cover up my bad skin and I am finally going makeup-free every day! I now wear makeup simply for the joy of wearing makeup and have fun with it opposed to using it as a must to cover my imperfections. You are great and so is your work!!! P.S. love your pickiness ✨✨✨❤️
I have learned so much from you in the last year about skincare that you have made me feel like I need to go focus on dermatology when I earn my nurse practitioner license. I love your ever growing content, and cannot wait to see your further growth.
I don’t understand how he chooses which products to ow each night. Like is it a cycle or just like what his skin is craving??? I mean imagine having THAT many skin care products!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
i’ve tried the fab ultra repair cream and it made my skin so itchy and red. it gave me weird little bumps and my face was inflamed. I wouldn’t say I have sensitive skin because I’ve never had a reaction like that. it definitely hydrated my skin and I wasn’t producing as much oil but I couldn’t handle how itchy my face was. everyone’s experience will be different tho! take my review as a grain of salt :)
I got a rash and hives using it! For me, I’m pretty sure it was the eucalyptus extract which I must have skipped over when reading the ingredient list😬 that is a known allergy for me, possibly could be for you too. I was so sad because I wanted that cream to work out for me lol
I have tried the youth to the people adaptogen moisture cream, the krave beauty oat so simple water cream AND the great barrier relief AND the beet the shield sunscreen, all based off Hyram's rave reviews about them but I honestly didn't like a single product. Neither the adaptogen moisture cream nor the oat so simple and even the great barrier relief serum were moisturizing enough for me, the great barrier relief serum just smells strong of tamanu oil and makes skin look shiny/greasy but doesn't actually soak in and moisturize and I've almost finished every product to give them a fair chance and they made no improvement to my skin. I'm totally at a loss for a good moisturizer and I've read the reviews for the skin fix lipid cream and some of the real reviews are actually quite negative. Idk I love watching Hyrams videos for entertainment but I struggle to get good recommendations from the various skincare you tubers. I worry a lot of them don't try the products like for months and they mostly read the ingredients and try it for a few days-a week and then make videos on them, idk
For my dry combination skin, I really liked the Skinfix. It’s amazing to use at night, but was too thick for the daytime. So I got the Elf Happy Hydration Cream for the day and wow!!!:) Yes, the Elf cream is thick, but it’s thin enough for myself who has super dehydrated and dry skin. So thank you for these life changing recommendations:) Happy Holidays😊
Love this, I needed a new night cream so perfect timing ! You could do zooms on your hand as you show the texture and how it penetrates the skin, I feel like it would help us understand the texture of the product
So happy you mentioned the Kate Somerville recovery cream. I had received it in my boxycharm about a year and a half ago and it quickly became my fav skincare product of all time. I have very dry skin and NOTHING has helped my skin as much as that. It’s also nice that it feels so rich and lux. I normally would never pay $70 for a cream but it’s worth every penny. And a little goes a long way. I’m on my third jar now. I use it just about ever night and I always wake up with my skin glowing, supple, and moisturized! My make up goes on so much better too.
Hello Hyram! I love when you show the products on the video because sometimes you talk a lot about so many products and I get a little lost, but actually showing the products is great! Gracias!!! Love u!
Dear Hyram I dont know if you will read this, but here we go for sake of other people! Recently I decided that my face kinda needs a cleanser, since water and unscented soap wasnt enough. Since im only 11 I wanted to go for a mild, non stripping face wash. I found this amazing, fairly cheap foaming face wash! It refreshes my skin and is doing wonders! My skin is already softer and smoother. Thank you so much! You taught me a lot about skincare, I wish you the best.
Hyram!! You should do a video about good moisturizers for older people! My mom has been asking me every single day what cream she can use to fight age and I thought I would be helpful for other parents too!!♥️
Hyram....I have so been educated in a major way today. This my first time watching your video. I love that you share with clarity as well as vital info about these products. Their is after all hope. Thank you soooooo much. Plan on watching some of the other videos too. Can't wait.😁
I would love to see a video where you have an updated skincare morning & night routine for drug store products as well as your more luxury items. I never know which products go well with one another, or in what order I should apply them. Especially when involving sunscreen for daytime use. I love your channel and always look forward to your positive energy 😌💕
I use the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer for more than a year now and my skin loves it, first time since my breakouts (teenage years) is amazing!!!! 💙 my skin in the summer is always dry and makes wounds but Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer salve my skin 💙 Thank you!!!!!! 🥰💙
I wish I could show you the dramatic change in my skin ever since I started using the products you reccomend. My skin is just *chefs kiss* and I now have a huuuge addiction to skincare (I buy new products every few days to every week. I can't stop, it's a problem lol) Thank you so so much for everything you do, I appreciate you so much and enjoy watching your videos every single night during my night time routine. You're amazing, Hyram. Never change. 🖤
I was NEEDING a new moisturizer for night skincare routine thank you hyram!!! I have oily skin as well so thank you for the tips! Tbh I just need you to create me a whole new skincare routine pls 🥲💛
Hello Hyram! I've actually tried the Skinfix Barrier moisturizer and the Honest Hydrogel Cream because of your recommendations and I actually find them to be VERY similar...I have dry skin and I've noticed that they both help hydrate my skin...thanks for all you do for the skincare community ❤
Please do an updated video on sunscreens. I'm struggling because I go outside and sweat a lot on my feet all day at work. I have been using purito for months and found out the SPF is untrue its at 15spf. I get burned easy so it would explain some issues with my skin. Your new kit has been awesome by the way! I just think a better sunscreen would make it more effective. I really need like a 50 SPF that can sweat it and absorbs quickly.
i'm excited to give a few of these a try. as a super oily but sensitive skin gal i have a hard time as well. i have been using the inky list VITAMIN B, C AND E MOISTURIZER at night and i think my skin feels blah in the morning and it's been WAY greasy all day but i was thinking it was the season change - maybe it's the mositurizer! it's very petroleum jelly feeling which i dont like. i used to have the kate somerville goat milk but it wasnt moisturizing enough for overnight but my skin was so soft feeling, so maybe that brand first!
Thank you for doing such a great job of explaining all these different ingredients and what they actually do. I am having some major skin changes that I am trying to work on and understand what my skin actually needs. Having a channel like yours to learn about all the ways your skin can be supported is amazing!
Yaaas love that you got a sponsorship deal with FAB! most of my skincare is from them and my skin loves it so much! Although I was sad to hear that one of my faves has been discontinued- the ultra repair intensive lip balm was fabulous for cracking lips in the winter (and still is. You better believe I bought a bunch of backups when I saw them at TJMaxx a couple weeks ago!)
If you love lightweight moisturizers you should definitely try the First Aid Beauty BarriAIR cream. It’s literally light as air. I love the ingredients list too.
The tranexamic acid has helped my red cheeks SO MUCH! I've been using it for about a month and am already seeing improvements. So grateful for the change makers kit!
When recommends a product that I already have in my possession, I feel that much closer to him! Love the FAB cream during the day and SkinFix for the night! Continue doing what you do, Hyram!
I am using La Roche Posey moisturizer for Eczema. I do not have Eczema, but the oatmeal in it is so soothing and glides on, surprisingly does not pool on face. Not greasy. Excellent moisturizer. CosRx ceramide moisture mist is the bomb! Also, with the Eczema cream, your skin stays hydrated for hours without dry patches
I absolutely love Mediheal’s N.M.F. Intensive Hydrating Cream for nighttime. I use that as my last step after oil-based cleanser and N.M.F Intensive Hydrating Serum. It has TRANSFORMED my dry skin. Maybe consider reviewing some of their products? Thanks for all the work you do! I’ve learned so much from you and am about to try some of your recent recommendations as I’m still trying to nail down my daytime routine.
I've been using the milkmakeup moisturizer at night because of the squalene. I have dry skin so it being so thicc works well for me! Also I also use the hydro gel which I'm very impressed with! ESPECIALLY because its so affordable! But I am DYING to try the skinfix lipid cream!!
as a person with dry skin, I am really interested in trying out the elf product buuut it has that polyethylene that people say to avoid in cleansing balms. So I ended up using that versed gel-cream and I can easily say both oily skin people and peeps who want a semi-cheap moisturizer it’s a good product
i want to try the Honest beauty, and i may try the Elf one. i did try the Firstaidbeauty, Skinfix, and Biosion Omega Repair (love this one the most) thanks Hyram
I love the Honest Beauty one. It's hard to find a cream for your dry skin that doesn't look greasy and that works great under make up. It's fragrance free. Super price. I keep repurchasing it. Glad you like it too 😉
I was looking forward to this today! Needed some solid recommendations as I simplify and perfect my routine. I started trying the Biossance products on his reviews after my cousin (who also has sensitive skin, but mine is WAAAAAAY more sensitive) recommended the brand to me. I may not like them, tbh. The resurfacing night serum has caused sensitivity (use it every 3rd night but am cutting back to 1x week) and the vitamin C serum has caused an allergic reaction that required the prescription from my derm to be refilled. So, finding richer creams that are as fragrance-free and soothing as possible are my new research point! The Honest Beauty and Skin Fix ones are the first candidates. Thank you, Hyram, for doing all this research and educational information that you provide in a very entertaining format. You are helping to teach your audience that good for you ingredients are not meant to break the bank but not to feel guilty for splurging on this area of healthcare (because that is what skin care is!). Stay safe!
Love your videos! I'm so happy with the elf Happy Hydration Cream that you've recommended several times. Really saved my skin this past winter. BTW, I use military time on my phone so I don't get the AM/PM mix up on alarms. I'm fortunate that I have a consistent work schedule so I just have it saved. Once when you get used to military time, you can't set your alarm wrong.
I’d like to ask what you think of Rhodan and Fields skincare. Have I been sucked in to buying something really expensive that I don’t actually need? I’ve recently come across your videos and you are the most knowledgeable person I’ve even come across for skin care it’s kind of crazy!
What I suggest is that set multiple alarms like if i wanna wake up for my online school, due to the fasting month, our class is at 9:30 AM so I set my alarm this way: Alarm 1: 9:00 Alarm 2: 9:10 Alarm 3: 9:15 Alarm 4: 9:20 Alarm 5: 9:25 Sound: Summit And that wakes me up lol because I used to always sleep through them sooooo yeah Hope this helps Huge fan btw
I've been struggling a lot with skin for what it feels for ever. It's my biggest insecurity. I'm 20 and I thought all the pimples and acne would go away with my teenage years but I guess not lol. Thank u for providing all this information and research!💘💘 I'm diving into skincare RU-vid and I'm falling in love with your videos Hyram! I'm hoping my skin gets better!!
I love this guy! My favorite part of each video (and the part that gets stuck in my head) is “every single week” with the elongation of the word “weeeeeek.” And the shoulders - I love it! Makes me smile in every video. 😊
Hi Hyram. I have a video idea for you because I've seen many different opinions about this: Tools in skincare (face rollers, face massgers, brushes, etc). Do they work? Do they make any difference at all? I know there's research about this but you're like the skincare mouthpiece to me and I will only follow your word 🛐 love ya and your videos! 🤍
The Elf happy hydration is a bit thicker but it feels very light! I use it both day & night and I have VERY acne prone skin and I haven't noticed this upset my skin
Hyram, I love you and your content! Oily skin fellow here hehe. But could you please add a lil sneak pick of the texture of the products you show? Really helps to determine if will work on our skin. All all all the best! Mwah
Hi Hyram, I am a canadian dance teacher from Montreal. First, I am a big fan of your videos. Second, I have a lot of kids in school who have hands and face problems because of the mask and the foam that we constantly use to disinfect. Do you have any recommendations for them. Im not sure if skin care product for teens and adults can work on elementary students ? Any ideas, tips or anything that I can share with them ? Thanks :)
Hey hyram, since you made a night time moisturizer video for oily skin, can you make a day time moisturizer video for oily skin and a truth about farmacy video. Thank you!
I am a Sephora shopper. One of the saleswoman started me on FAB a few years ago. Unfortunately she left my Sephora and my new salesperson said not to use the FAB because it was giving me the milia on my face. So, I started with Claudalie. I have dry, sensitive skin. What are your thoughts?
@@kyrizourides8859 yes hahaha it's soo bad I spend more time on yesstyle than on all my sovial media accounts and I still haven't figured out what I want to buy now after a month😭😭😭😭
Ooo I just wanted to jump in with my personal recommendation to add to your research! I've been using the Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream for the last two months and it immediately became a holy grail, it has vitamin C and peptides and ferric acid, fragrance free, and it's so thick and creamy and luxurious for a great price! Sorry I sound like I'm doing a sales pitch haha but I love this moisturiser
Hey Hyram! I was just wondering what your opinion of Olay is, specifically the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 night moisturizer? It has retinol, retinyl propionate, niacinamide, and some peptides like matrixyl. I mostly got the moisturizer because I wanted something with niacindamide, retinol, and peptides and I wanted to know if there was maybe a better moisturizer with similar ingredients or if it’d be better to use some of these ingredients another way such as in a serum? I just subscribed not to long ago and I love your videos! 💕
