MY BUILD HAS BEEN BUFFED WITH THE NEW PATCH (27-06)!! Big W for the Machine Gun Rainbow Rogue. Rain of Arrows got buffed in two ways: 1. Shorter CD, 2. Imbuement potency has been increased. Thanks for watching guys! Make sure to subscribe if you liked the video and build. Which class, aside from Rogue, would you like to see me cover?
Can you swap the normal pants with the unique Temerity pants? The barrier being up seems to be better than prioritizing regular legendary pants with high defense roles. Is there a way to proc that barrier more often?
Shapeshifter Druid to match your Elden Ring (phenomenal!) shapeshifter. Also, a companion/conjuration/minion build!!!! I'm tired of people saying it can't be good at end-game.
could you please explain to me why you have points in dark shroud if you are not using it? i dont understand, are you changing out abilities situationally?
Great! Just a heads up, I've been checking the talents for like 4 times because I was missing 1 point until I realized you only put 4 points in Poison Imbuement (+4 from items) instead of 5. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to get Precision in the end
Hey Bro, you should definitely use Icy Alchemist's Aspect in one of your slots, can probably replace the Arrowstorm one. I didn't know the power of it until I tested it with my Penshot build and holy fuck it actually does significant damage even though it doesn't seem like it on the tooltip and it will freeze everything if it doesn't die with Rain of Arrows. The Icy Alchemists Aspect is either worded incorrectly or bugged. Which is why I never used it before. From the wording, it seems like it only works with the two imbuement shots from Shadow Imbuement but it actually works like this. When the enemy is chilled/frozen, most likely with Penitent boots or in this case Rain of Arrows, if the target is infected with Shadow imbuement, ANY hit from any attack(basic attack too) will trigger the ice explosion if lucky hit at 75%. In this case of Rain of Arrows since its all imbuements at once, everything hit on every mob from Rain of Arrows will trigger this ice explosion and will freeze everything if it doesn't die and trigger all the explosion damage.
For anyone with energy problems, just use innervation and consuming shadows, this will help a lot with energy. If you really want to you can also add aftermath
Very nice and awsome Video! But I have a question, I am currently Level 60 with my Rouge, would you say it is worth to change my current build to the explained one in your video or should I keep my current one?
Just popped this build into season 3, with construct at lvl 100 for gauntlet. Its shmacking. I tweaked a little lol. But the main premise stands strong
I like bows better with this build, much faster attacks refreshes rain of arrows much faster, and procs crit related buffs more often. Also faster paced combat is what i like more.
Which malignant hearts would you use on this? So far I'm using the chance for marksman skills to knock back (pairs well with the passive Concussive that gives you 12% crit chance for knockback) along with the damage absorption one and the rotating bonuses (atk speed, restore resources, and barrier.) I'll replace that last one with barber as soon as one drops though.
this is similar to my build, I got the amulet a few days ago (and again yesterday), but I use poison trap and caltrops and poison imbuement, I don't regen enough energy to run rapid fire 100% but im only level 65 and working on it.
I have a question, I like bow for cosmetic purposes I know the build suggests to use a cross bow. Would it be a huge hurt to my dps to use a bow? My current bow is sky hunters with the following stats; 165 Dex,55.5% crit damage, 3 ranks of exploit, 39% marksman’s skill damage( core and ultimate). I think the bow is good by all means but is it worth using over the crossbow?
Ha! This is exactly how I play the game, woohoo I got something right for a change! I typically push poison instead of shadow because of the many bonuses to poison damage, but I like them both.
Love this. Very similar to the build I just was playing with. Rapid, puncture, shadow step, shadow imb, poison imb , clone. Will this build still be strong without all the aspects chosen and does it matter where those aspects are on?
I'm assuming it's because my build is incomplete, but my Rapid Fire is far from self sustaining. It runs out very quickly and I find myself kiting all around before getting enough resource builds back up. Any advice would be appreciated. I followed his skill tree layout to a tee.
Word of hakan is decent stuff. Not the best cuz the dmg is really bad for such an important slot, but RoA is good skill. I'm not using it anymore though for super high dmg
ive got a question about this build. why u have so little resistance on ur gear? is it cuz the rings and amulet provide enuff with ur fire res on helm and cold res on boots? also why u didnt invest in the poison passive under poison imbuement? these r really good too im just wondering why u didnt invest in them instead of other things? since season 1 dropped for a few weeks now is the jewelry sockets remain with skulls or u went for caged heart? id like to know if this build was updated, thank you
Do you have to get the repeating aspect for rain of arrows to work? Seems a bit meh if you can't ricochet the arrows :/ I'm running barrage atm and I really wanna run this build. (just turned 50)
Been using the penetrating shot build, but I *have* had a word of hakan drop (two actually but I think i salvaged one ages ago). Which do you think is the stronger build? In terms of versatility and survival and so on, or just the more fun of the two?
this ones more fun personally but it relies so much on the word of hakan its almost not worth doing until you get it. The damage of rain of arrows goes from like c tier to A tier instantly. THe builds overall about an A tier just as the pen shot is also A tier both about the same. Neither compare to the Twisting blades but they are both more fun
Wow, watched this video, logged on, saw world boss was in 4 minutes, drops a word of hakan! 14 non-physical, 20 ultimate, 17 crit with imbue and +2. I can confirm hitting like on the video increases chance of drop.
don't really play any other game you cover aside of elden ring but im glad you seem to have success with many titles. always loved your guides not for the guide but the person behind it. (okay maybe a little for the guide aswell)
IMO it’s worth using concealment over shadow step. There’s a modifier that makes the first hit when you break stealth guaranteed crit so if you make that attack rain of arrows with Hakkan…it’s insane. Also, if you pick up the poison trap aspect you can lay a bunch of traps under everything first then release a guaranteed crit rainbow arrow storm on top of them.
Will be doing this over shadow step Ty. Had a good pair of pants with damage reduction, +3 ranks of concealment, imbuement cool-down, & max life I’ll re roll for damage reduction from close.
@@nogamenolife705 from this build you’d have to give up one or two of the imbuments in exchange for concealment. Eventually rapid fire becomes self sustaining once you pick up the Paragon node that applies vulnerable, so you can drop puncture and replace it with one of the imbuments. My rogue runs with shadow/cold until she hits a boss and swaps out poison…basically I have the points in it but you can only put so many things on the hotkey bar so I just switch shadow for poison right before facing a big boss.
IDK what witchcraft this is, but after watching...I got both the unique boots and the word of Hakan... Then got the shadow grasp glove unique... All in about 3 days
I switched out Poison imbuement with Frost and replaced poison trap with Caltrops. Went with concealment instead of shadow step. I feel like the synergies still work. Just things I had to do for playstyle and survivability. About an hour later I looted Icy Alchemists twin blade and it was meant to be. Awesome build and layout. Favorite build!
man this build absolutely DESTROYS in the endgame. im currently playing this build and i must say it does the work for sure. if only there was a way to squeeze in some zoom zoom abilites this build would be completely bonkers.
Running almost the same build except im using dash instead of poison trap and concealment for prep and guaranteed crit of rain of arrows 😊 overall i find this build “the fun build” for me, the rain of arrows is so fun to watch obliterating mobs 😂
How would you update this build with the hearts in the current season? T100 is now equal to t70 so surviving is less of an issue. Would you use the tri imbue heart? The dmg suppress one of course.
Been using a similar build for a while, but with shadow clone in place of rain of arrows. Its hard for me to find value in rain of arrows because with the shadow clone you can clear a pack of mobs in the time it takes to wind up rain of arrows. And the single target is WAY better, my shadow clone does 110% of my damage due to the legendries and uniques it can obtain. You killed that boss fast but I can kill that same boss in under half the time. That being said I WANT to like rain of arrows because it is the coolest rogue ultimate by far, its flashy
thats the point of the vid, is to show a unique cool looking flashy build that works. Twisting blades will kill that boss 10x faster than in the video (near instantly) but who wants to run the same old meta tb rogue that everyone is running. I was able to clear a few nm 80s with no issues just keep a fair distance and works great, not as well as other builds but if i was min maxing everything i would just play storm wolf druid and call it a day
I would b willing to try your build.. but problem is that the planner for your build doesnt have all the gears needed for the build and those gears adn the stats for them isnt added on the planner. you only hae added the boots and the amulet, but you havent added the helm, chest, gloves, the weapons and the rings. and im not even sure if all 58 skill points has been used either. if Im going to try your build, you need to finish the entire planner.. that includes: 1.) All the gears, weapons and jewelries needed for the build. 2.) The correct stats for each gear piece and jewelry for the build. 3.) The correct aspect for each gear piece and jewlry. 4.) Finish the entire skill tree with all 58 points. 5.) What skills to use in the hotbar. 6.) What specialization to use for the build. 7.) what gem to use on each gear piece you might have done some of them... but from what I can/could see,you havent done all those 7 things above.
Little confused as all the points you mentioned are all covered in either his video or mostly all on the planner aside from maybe which stat's to go for. Might pay to take another look mate haha
Love the build but can I ask. On your sword you have an imbuement for arrow storm dealing 10,191 damage out of a range of 4,300 to 5375. How did you get more damage out of the range ??
Instead of your aspect on Chest armor i'd recommend enshrouding warlord plate aspect which grants free dark shroud every 3 seconds standing as opposed to getting a dark shroud fro crits has lesser chances even for a build with 30% plus crit chance.
You can push you damage much higher with better paragon optimisation, the best glyph to put on your starting board is one that exploits dexterity and the highest return is the Marksman one. And level those glyphs ups you can triple your current bonuses and your build should scale very well with damage you may be able to nuke from afar and actually push very high tiers with this build. Great stuff.
@@earlgrey7342 YEha the flat damage booost per agility for marskman skill and cutthraot skills look like the best glyphs for the starting board to exploit the amount of dex present.
@@earlgrey7342 Just checked and at lvl 15 this glyph brings me +70.2 marskman/cutthroat skill damage, thats leagues above the +17.1% critical strike damage the author had. I tried his build and tit's great great fun, pushed easily into T60s with it i think it can reach around T80.
NizarGG, just wanted to let you know that your videos are freaking awesome and entertaining! I've been watching since the early Elden Ring Days (OP Mage guide, hehe). Since then everytime a new video comes out I watch it with my boyfriend on the TV and we instantly wanna game x'D
Wow I just got the amulet with +3 to imbuement skills, I knew there was something great to do with it. I'll give it a try tomorrow, thanks for the clear presentation and idea!
I just got the amulet last n ight and thought "dang I want a build that uses this" I have been running twisted blades and really don't like it. My wife is running the penetrating shot build and I am sure she is going to be super jealous! thanks for the fun build, you made it easy for me to understand and I am an older gamer and need the help sometimes!
OMG Nizar I didn’t even know it was you, I used to watch your Elden Ring stuff and I clicked on that video and 2 mins in I was like hold up a sec I know this voice it can’t be really him, now I can trust and watch the good content
This class is excellent. Just cleared a tier 18 dungeon easy damage wise still going up on difficulty and I don't even have the boots, amulet, and all the aspects. At lvl 58. You can get 1 shot pretty easy tho so be careful.
Nearly my exact build except I went for dash rather than shadow step. I also use all 3 imbuements, no traps necessary. I managed to get an ilvl 805 ancestral word of Hakkan, near perfect rolls. Amazing
Any pointers for pushing higher nm dungeons with this build? Decided to give it a shot since I had a bunch of gear with pretty much perfect roles to run this, went from speed farming 80+'s with a twisting blades poison trap build to struggling in 60's.
Well thats because twisting blades is an s+ tier build for rogue and the only one at that. This is more in the A tier so its significantly worse overall and requires more caution. Ensuring you are keeping enemies vulnerable and having like 180+% vuln damage is important with this build since you can basically keep things vulnerable forever making sure you have a ton of vuln dmg is important. Use rein of arrows when initiating big fights not in the middle because the arrows start quite a ways in front of you, and ensuring you stay away from enemies pretty much the entire time, its a ranged build unlike twisting blades and making use of your range is important. With this build you can push nm 80's pretty easily just not very fast keeping distance is the most important thing with ranged builds like this.
Found all the bits including a near bis roll Haken, so had to try it. Its lots of fun, although still training myself on lack of dash or extra dodge, but solo nightmares are good. Testing more out in a squad later. Thanks for the Vidya.
Survivability is the only issue solo with this build but its a lot of fun. Hits exactly as decribed but if your used to playing a switched on glass canon then my god this build is G O D.
Just changed builds to this one, really enjoying it so far. Damage is nuts. But I got a problem.. Sometimes I'm running out of energy 😔 I don't know what I'm missing
I have been inspired by this rapid fire build and shadow clone rapid fire build. I’m considering combining The 2 Ultimates (and loosing the trap) and the passive that regenerate energy when casting ultimate and preparation for ultimate colldown reduction, which is helpful when you fight a boss that sometimes ends up draining all your energy. Any thoughts?
im playing a version of this on S1, and is doing better with the malignant hearts. Im using the synergy between Subterfuge skills and Heart of Trickery to create Taunting Shadow Decoys, with it i cant properly play as ranged because the enemies keep attacking the decoy. I also changed it a bit, im using Mangler and lucky hit to Daze enemies and KO enemies on crits, its also good for survivability and procs +12% crit from a passive. Tho still lacks damage compared to TB, unfortunatly, and I feel more punished than rewarded by playing ranged because of the elite enemies affixes, dealing with supressor and wind is rough, its doable i can just dive in, place a trap and KO them and burst them to death quickly, and the few that arent KOed will be taunted by the decoy from the trap, its not ideal for every situation, but its doable. Still a crazy fun build to play, even tho is not as strong as TB or trap build.
I use the aspext that drops grenades and dazes enemies after you shadow step or evade, my boots have 4 evade charges so i evade and shadowstep alternate and it dazes any aoe mob giving vulnerability where the exploit glyph wont.......
this build shreds through high tier dungeons its insane! Legit clearing rooms (including elites) with a single fire of ult. Boss dmg excels + insane ad clear makes this build a lot of fun! I thank u for sharing us the build and hope u find more builds like this! Have a good one :D
I love how you explain why we are taking certain skills, it really helps if we want to deviate from the build for any reasons. I was wondering if you have revisited this for season 1. Like do you have any malignant heart recommendations for jewelry?
