How many tickets are you going to buy then Matt ? go on, you know there is always room for one more 👍You can put it on the front lawn when you tarmac it.😂
Best I ever had from my 4.4TDV8 so far is 33.5 (true MPG, calculate from the full tank not the trip computer which lies like a politician). I generally get a 30mpg once a year!
Spot on about calculating the true mpg from the miles and a petrol receipt! I've got 33.9 from mine on a gentle motorway drive last week, but it'd be sub 30mpg if I'd pressed the loud pedal.
It is so good to see you back in a Range Rover again, They are more than just cars, they are a way of life. It is also great seeing your family doing their bit to make your videos more interesting, You're naturals all of you.
Answering some of your questions! The wheels are standard 19" Vogue spec ones, not Autobiography. That's probably why your ride is so nice, smaller alloys. Your last one had the 20" wheels. The side meshes are silver rather than grey so I think they are Autobiography. I like my L322 without side steps or mudflaps, very clean and classy looking in my opinion. It makes the design/proportions of the car look perfect. Also I like to have no tinted windows. Your car looks like they are aftermarket tints. If you removed those it would look way better and would be more sought after. There's quite a tribe of clear glass obsessives in the L322 community. I am one of them! Defo put the badges back on. Also a full sized rear number plate!
The tinted windows look killer on a black or dark blue L322. Not so much on other colours. On a hot sunny day, the tints do make the back seat area an even better place to be than it would be without them.
Well I’m dangerously influenced by these channels having just bought a 2012 discovery 4 sdv6 xs. First dip into the Land Rover world and so far loving it!
Great car ive had mine 4 years now 178 k miles on the clock still pulls like a train its just got to go because i cant justify paying £1800 for insurance on the same car that cost me £600 last year
I've just paid £1257 for full comp with 50% full business mileage. I thought that wasn't too bad considering the group it's in tbh. My partners Picanto is nearly £900 this year!
Yesssss and Lucy is back in the game! Well for February at least, this why I subscribed in the beginning of your channel, however, please buy one for yourself please Lucy
Just bought the same model, 60 reg in blue. The union flag sticker is an add on by a previous owner; the wheels are standard not Autobiography; the 'little knob' gear shift will grow on you (hey ho...) . Had it had a megaflush carried out on the transmission? Has it had the oil cooler replaced? Should have been by 108k, regardless of any leaks. Most important with the 'big Rangie' - check tyre pressures weekly or you’ll never get anywhere near 31mpg, and once over 100k it's oil changes every 6,000 miles. And I'd change those tyres to Scorpion Verdes too! Apart from that, as Raf Valone says about the Aston in The Italian Job.... "pretty car... "
I could totally see the 30mpg that people have been talking about, for one important reason. The transmission. 8 speed instead of the 6 speed on your old one.
Not sure if it's been mentioned before (sorry too many comments) but they are the only style 19" wheels that fit over the new brembo callipers on the 4.4tdv8. I had to hunt down a set for a previous 4.4 tdv8 I had to fit winter tyres to (but got rid of them when I got an L405). I prefer the look of an L322 on 20's but much prefer the ride on the 19's. Do not like the look of side steps. The L:405's retractable are a good compromise.
I love Driving in Boots as well so comfortable I feel in complete control Driving in Doc Martens great Channel your reviews are fantastic I have subbed 😊
Ahhh Lucy!!!, the little one asking for no bits! did a man squee! My boy is was 20 last October, still remember the sweet and funny stuff he came out with! :-) x
Wonderful to see such clean Range Rover, with that mileage.thankyou for sharing that with us Lucy, can’t wait for the next landrover could it be the new defender?
There’s a common fault with the fuel pump wiring, it will fail. Then wait for the alternator to go. Having owned one for 8 years I speak from experience
Ha, I’m with George re th3 colour, I thought it was navy blue throughout, a really dark navy blue but definitely blue. Great to see you back in a Range Rover though Lucy, you guys are great! How the channel
Wealthy people who'd bought them new, and only had recourse to the dealerships for servicing paid out a lot, and for not very much. You need to have a good level of mechanical knowledge and ability, to own one, otherwise it's going to be expensive, and unrewarding. Indeed, my 4.4 TDV8 L322 is the best car I've ever owned.
Can you disclose the service history, previous work carried out I.e repair bills etc, previous owners, all the normal stuff when buying a used car. The badges should be on the tailgate so has that had any damage and not been replaced, just asking
Was really hoping for something different but as long as it breaks down due to different faults I guess that will be interesting. Is there any issue insuring these older cars?
I do like Range Rovers and get tempted to buy one but then I remember that they are crap round corners. I really don't care about sitting that high up; I'm more interested in driving dynamics.
Looks cool, but it's a Rover! I'm sure many other subscribers love Buying British, but not my bag! Glad you're happy in it, Lucy. 😊 If we all liked the same cars, you'd be paying through the roof! "Don't knock it 'till you try it" they say - maybe I'll bite the bullet one day and see if I'm converted! 🤗
Apologies if I offended anyone by using the name 'Rover'.. in fact, I've just read that Land Rover originated as British Leyland in 1970.. nowadays it's part of the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) group, so you'd be forgiven for calling it a 4x4 Jaguar! 🤗
Beautiful car, but, fuel consumption?😅 With my 3.0 liter V6 Mercedes (252hp) best i can do is 7,5L/100km usually 8/9 on the highway and 14L/100km in town 😅😅😅
So, we will just buy and raffle off Range Rovers now for a quick profit? I mean, I understand why but it seems super non genuine. I watch your content due to shared interest but it seems this company is only using you to use your viewers otherwise they wouldn’t have bought this Range Rover for you to then Raffle off again.
The reason I have unsubscribed, if it’s not a genuine I’m not interested. The worst of all though is product or services promotions that RU-vidrs themselves know are a load of rubbish.
Nothing non genuine here. If you know the channel, you'll know that I am very much interested in L322's and am still looking for one to own myself. In the mean time, I get to drive one for the month that will hopefully be owned by a viewer very soon! Sounds like a win win to me :)
I agree with the sentiment, but like many I came here for the L322 content, and I see this as a stop gap to provide RR content for the fans until she can get her own again. These videos take time and don't generate a huge income so why not make it a bit easier that benefits all? This vid seems like an intro to a series that will compare a 3.6 to the 4.4 model as far as I'm concerned. Something I'm sure that many like me would be interested in. Liked the V70 vids, but yeah, get a 200bhp D5 XC90 to try to compare. Maybe buy one after this before getting a new L322? They're not megabucks and would be an interesting comparison. And mk1 and 2 BMW X5s. Keep up the good work and nicecto see the little littl'un along for the ride! Maybe do a Mum's Car type vid or section of your reviews to discuss sprog transporter ability? My best sprog carrier was a Chrysler 300c. 😊
You can’t rely on her reviews of Range Rovers. She doesn’t own them long enough to experience the idiosyncrasies and faults, to give and accurate review
Sure you will get a few late model Range rovers to promote shortly as folk seam to be loosing lots of money in depreciation due to all the neg publicity but id have another in a heart beat if i could afford it so at 99p im in 😂
Certainly I have the right to think something is ugly and other things are more beautiful! Or not? What's on mate? Why is it "childish" to think something is ugly and then say so? Man, you have the right to think it nice looking, without someone ripping you personality, right? So, why are you calling me "childish" to say I find the old Landy ugly? Gees, now you forcing me to tell you to "grow up" FOOL! @@2000halojones
