Purchased this bike last month and so far I like it, the only down side is its free wheel and not place for water bottle. They should have gone with the fix wheel

Now review the bike using zwift. Try non ERG mode to see how bad the gear changing is on the Renpho bike. Renpho really need to push some firmware updates to address some of the problems.

Is it really awful? I primarily want the bike because (I assume) it's properly outputting wattage to Zwift, which nothing else under 1K does. The gearing seems like a bonus, but it would be nice if it worked properly.

@@rickyrosario9109 It does power / cadence / speed / resistance pretty well. The issue is if your doing a bit of an effort or racing / sprinting and change gears up or down, the resistance jumps really high for a second or 2 , which you can imagine doesn't help climbing or in a sprint. The bike is good overall, just a few niggles they should (but probably won't) iron out. The handlebars cant be moved closer or rotated or even swapped, so make sure you get some decent tape as the bars are quite uncomfortable, few flat spots rather than just round. The pedals can be changed to clipless etc, at least we dont slip off the pedals. 🤣🤣
