It’s hard to not throw some shade when he has to address the history to new viewers. LMR wasted a lot of his money and didn’t follow up on their promise to make a drivable experience.
i love this thing. front end is just so aggressive, the body lines that the body kit adds is just insane, actually a work of art. and the wheels just make it pop that much more. now it sounds amazing and finally runs too. not really anything to complain about unless youre nitpicking at insignificant details. a stock one is nice but looks more like an old man car, now it looks and sounds comparable to an exotic
Not really that hard to change parts. There's really not much to putting a supercharger on any vehicle and gaining 100hp. Tj said it was at about 700hp now and they come stock with 600. You automatically gain about 100 when you add a supercharger with basically the same stock tune. Everybody's thinking these dudes are the sit when Dylan could have done the same thing in just a couple of days.
its nice to see a drivable setup back on this car. Making every car 1000hp isnt always the most fun or drivable. This setup seems so much more intuitive and well done.
We all knew he was going to stop at Whole Foods anyway! And I would have too! Who cares, it’s less than an hour of your life, makes your girl feel heard and loved, and you end up having some of the best experiences in those little life side-quests!
The supercharger looks and sounds wayyy better on the c8 imo. The twin turbo was CRAZY truly a work of art but holy shit is was a problem magnet. I feel like these guys really knkw what they are doing you can tell bc they made a NASTY car but honestly not changing alot like he said they kept alot of stuff back to stock bc of the tough ecu you know when they craxk it its gonna be insane

I’ve known Roshan from my GTO days, he is hands down one of the nicest and knowledgeable dudes I’ve ever met. Super happy for him and his company, they are doing great! Glad you got it supercharged and running right. At the end of the day, there’s always someone faster out there, but I’ve taught myself to just enjoy cars for what they are and 700-800hp is PLENTY.
Dude all he done was literally put a supercharger on the car and changed some performance parts back to OEM. Tj said that it was around 700hp now and they are 600 stock. Adding a supercharger will gain 100hp with the same stock tune. These dudes are shit talking parts changers that have people thinking they're the shit because their car is a little faster when it leaves their shop. I'd be interested to see how long they last because without tuning supercharger could make it run lean and burn the cylinders up
Teej and the team really know what they’re doing with these streethunter kits, no matter the car y’all’s kits look so damn killer! C8s need streethunter kits as a factory option!!! C8 sounds insane btw, killer unit!
I feel like this was a pretty big statement car for street hunter and you can tell how much the car means to TJ by how excited he is about it. Love to see it!
I’m stoked for you man. I can only imagine how frustrating it is to not have a functioning C8. One of the reasons I sold my Evo X was because at 650hp it just didn’t drive like stock so I get it. Can’t wait to supercharge my C8. Couple more years for me though.
The first video I watched of yours was because of the Corvette! I am so proud of you for keeping it, and do not put the wing back on! It looks like the first year Lamborghini countach without the wing❤
I'm so glad you went with the Lingenfelter Supercharger setup for your C8. I can't wait to see more of the C8 on the channel. When Lingenfelter releases the Stage 2 upgrades, you're going to see the full potential of that built motor and this thing will be insane. Great job Boost District!!!
I've always liked turbos over superchargers but always hated how much more work has to go into boosting and exotic with twin turbos but you can throw on a supercharger and it gives you instant power with no turbo lagg and you don't need like an extra tank or reservoir in your frunk that's taking up space and usability
I respect TJ allot because if I were a content creator and got a twin turbo kit installed on my car and it gave me all of those issues (even though it was a test kit) I’d be talking mad s**t about the state of the car

Ive been saying this since the c8 came out the ls motor is built for superchargers not turbos! Plus no lag and sound! At last a c8 built right! If you want turbos by an exotic or Japanese ! Its as simple as that! Well done teeg! Wise decision!

no hate to LMR but they just weren't really prepared to work on the C8 platform with all the issues and then with TJ wanting to make the 1000+ HP on a platform thats not really there yet is what caused the issues. Just unlucky honestly. But, im glad shes back home and ripping around. 1200 HP on the horizon
