Kris, your new boat is a beauty! You're going to love the padded seats! I like the drain plug too. It will make washing it out a breeze! Have loads of fun with it my friend!
love them rod holders I don't get to get them nice ones I have to make mine for my groups boat. but they work. but nice set up you look happy with the new boat have fun setting it up I always do have fun God bless and fish on.
sweet looking. Can't wait to see it fixed and ready for the water. I'm going out to the lake tomorrow, have had that chicken liver chum bait marinated for a few days now and ready to give it a shot. Taking some garlic worms as back up. Can't wait to see the boat ready!!
I have watched everyone of your videos I would be honored to have your boat, it would be perfect for my 6 year old son. Hey is really starting to enjoy Creek fishing for flathead with daddy! Awesome!
Kris, my name is Perry, I just wanted to talk with you about one topic and a suggestion. First is on humming. I have seen on other channels more or less saying humming doesn't work. What got me started on humming was I was about ten, my father and I were on lake falcon and long story short we weren't catching but very few channels and small blues. I had read an article in some magazine on chumming and after some back and forth i convinced him to try it. Well I got some hen scratch, soured it, and put it out. After that our catch improved at least 3 times over what had been catching. When we dressed them their stomachs we full of the chum. The suggestion is go to black gap game reserve. Pass the headquarters then about 16 miles { dirt road 4x4 recommended) there are Some fishing camp sites on the Rio grande, and talk about great remote fishing it is amazing. Also it is the place towel is replacing the desert big horn sheep. Also don't take anyone who needs anything, cause it is roughly 100 miles away. Keep it up love your videos.
Hey Kris. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for the share. I can't wait to try out the chicken liver chum from one of your earlier videos! Keep up the good work. Andre - Johannesburg, South Africa.
I had a kayak last year which I quickly traded for a John boat and trolling motor right after the snakes we're in rut and wanted to get in the yak with me. ( that would've been an awesome video) anyways. I got a cooler float and tied it to the yak for my tackle box and could keep shad alive in there too... just an idea maybe you could use or expand on. 100 lbs you can carry that where ever you need.
Wow... Your old boat really got some use lol. Is there a reason why you don't get the 10' John boat? I'm just wondering... Your new boat looks wider and lighter than the John boats though. We should be getting our new boat real soon. We're going with the 2072 Grizzley Tracker. I have to pay for it so hopefully my RU-vid channel takes off haha. Thanks for sharing your new boat
I'm thinking about buying a WB 10. I know they are tender and made to row well but I've heard they are EXTREMELY tippy. I sure would appreciate your comments. James
I really do like my Walker bay 10. Me and my friend can both stand in it at the same time, BUT we have to be very mindful of each other's movements because it is very tippy. If both people are sitting than there really isn't an issue. I did flip my Walker Bay 8 twice, but both times were with a guy that had never been in a boat before and on the same day.
hi there brother great videos man I'm live in Los angels ca and all we have here is channel cats, I'm planning a trip on AZ at the end of this month with a buddy of mine I would love if we can meet up with u and show us how to get those big flatheads it's been our dream 2 catch big ones if u can u would make my year man
could always get yourself some industrial velcro and use that to secure some different sized Plano tackle cases along the inside of your boat, I know a lot of people do that with kayaks
You would not be sleeping with your leg hanging over the side where I live ( FL.) lol.........nice little boat I almost bought one of these to learn how to sail but alas life moved on. Good luck with it.
hey Kris why don't you buy a back pack and has a storage for your tackle. I bought 2 of them one for me and another for my brother. and there pretty cool they even come with a little cooler bag on top
hey man, thanks for sharing. It's always exciting to get new gear. Are you eventually going to pull the rod holders and from the other boat to run them all on the new one? Also are those the 33s from monster rod holders? I've been looking at those since they seem like good all around holders for drifting and anchoring. By the way, is there a reason you chose the walker over a jon? I'm brainstorming for a new boat (my first) and really want to make the right choice.
hey how to tell if my lake has channel/blue catfish? all i ever caught was bullheads am i doing something wrong? its a big lake at an apartment complex and they stocked it about 8 years ago with alot of diffrent species i dont know if they only stocked bullheads as catfish, i think i caught a channel before but im not sure, when ever i use a worm the bullheads always get to it. would cut bluegill be good for channels? also if there is channels and blues the lake was stocked 8 years ago with about 14 inch fish. was size would they be now? that place is litteraly loaded with 10 pound bass, no one fish there. every 30 seconds a fish jumps theres ALOT ALOT ALOT of bait fish and fathead minnows
A fishermen must own a few boats. Small boat are the way to go some times. They get to places others cant as well smaller boat makes you fish harder as bigger boats one can relax to much. My self I have a canoe, 10ft and 14ft john boat along with the 20ft Mudd Duck and a 22ft pontoon and to top it off a jet ski for them fun times when I want to jetski and catfish. If I had the $$$ or extra big boat id give it to you. I know you would love a bigger boat just to enjoy it more with the family
+clashing with Road Warrior this boat was around 1,200 dollars. I bought the walker bay 8 for 600 fifteen years ago and it still works great. I think the 8' runs around 900 now
Helo Kris. I like that walker bay. How can I buy that kind of boat in the liget sites I'm rodel from Philippines. I plan to buy like that for my retirement. Hope you can HELP me how to buy.
