Yes, its best to send to service even if not noticeably affecting, who knows when the issue pops up in the future. I ave not jumped on to the Z8 bandwagon but looking forward in a future justifying the purchase. I submitted my NPS application. Thank you for the suggestion!
I buy my cameras/equipment from a local camera store. All I have to do is drop it off at the store, and they will do everything (no cost). I will do it sometime in September went things slow down. A friend got her Z8 back in a week, through the store. We are not NPS members.
I got the same invoice with my returned Nikon Z8...I think it's something they do with every camera that comes into the service department. The only difference is that it took mine about twice as long. There was one other thing they did to the mount on mine as well. Happy shooting...Peace
