About 2 years ago, I learned about NIOD and went crazy. Got so many different items during their November sale. Now, I've finally worked out what I really need from the line. SURVIVAL 0 is part of my forever skincare regimen. Every morning before my sunscreen. I have stocked up on that to last me until November. The Sanskrit Saponins, I still use once in a while. The REPIGMENT did nothing for me. Everything else, I can live without.
I have been attempting to move off of this line because of the huge increase in price! I do love all of these products as well and would include ELAN in the list! Thank you for reminding me. Hope they have the slowvember in 2023.
Survival 0 and Modulating Glucosides, & SOD are 3 that I alwayysss have. And the price for what you get with survival is so good. I don’t use it on its own I always add it to moisturizer mixed around. My favorite antioxidant!
Honestly if I had to pick one skincare brand to use for the rest of my life it would probably be Niod. I'm currently using CAIS, MG, SDSM2, S0, and MMHC!
Loveeee Niod. I am now using SDSM which I cannot live without, Survivor 0 which is weird it seems make my overall skin better than when not using it, and Sanskrit Saponin which I use every other day as morning cleanser and I love it. Used CAIS religiously like 5 years ago but had to stop since its hard to get it here in Indonesia.
Hydration Vaccination is the best slugging product out there. I got it & their adorable little spoon this past Slovember when I always stock up on CIAL, CIAS, MG & Survival 0. It’s totally unique in the balm category in that it has a non tacky finish, so you don’t stick to your pillow. You only need a little bit to do the job. The bottle is going to last me till next Slovember as I only use that sort of product when the heat runs and I live in the South.
I am loving Niod I have tried 3 of the products have backups of the survival 0 and I have the mod gluecoside serum love using it when my skin is irritated and I am in total love with the SDS mist and I need to order another one kinda wish I bought 2 or 3 in the slowvember sale. I want to try the CP serum and the non acid precursor serum cause I have issues with aha products I'm really sensitive. So far so good I have loved everything I tried so far and will repurchase and ready to try more. Not all of their products intrigue me so I am choosey with what I purchase.
Love Modulating Glucosides! There's nothing like it. And the price is ok considering that this is NIOD. I'd like to try Survival O and CAIS, but they are too expensive so I use The Ordinary. Btw, it would be nice to know what are yours top 5 from this brand.
Thanks Kelly! Does the modulating glucosides help with flaking from Tret? I don’t have redness or uncomfortable irritation but for the life of me. I can’t get rid of these flakes on my forehead!
I have been using Survival 0 for some time now and for 4 years I have been using dismutase mist continuously. I had Copper in my routine but found it difficult to set up my skincare as I also use Tretinoin. So I gave up. There are tons of opinions on whether you can use Copper in one routine with Tret.
Kelly, I love this video! I love both niod S0 and modulating glucosides. I've heard that we cannot use copper peptides with Niod S0 and/or retinoids, is that correct? Also, I'm thinking of trying NAAP next, how often do you use it? Do you ever use it with retinoids? Thank you ❤
Im not sure about S0 with the copper peptides, but i know its completely ok to use retinoids and the copper peptides serium together, even on the same night but thats mostly unnecessary. The best way to use them together is alternating the peptide serum and retinoid each night.
I tried it / I have it. Basically it behaves like silicone makeup base. It does not supposed to be the last step- it supposed to seal all serums you use. Then vaccine and then thicker / barrier cream / or sunscreen.
Deciem does not recommend CAIS to be used along retinoids. I agree the info out there is conflicting and incomplete but it can't hurt to just split the products up per routine.
Hello Kelly…thank you for your time. When do you use modulating glucoside typically? You say after tretinoin which would mean night & all those antioxidants would be excellent for day?
Hey Kelly! I love MG and use it twice a day. I’m curious - if you’re using a creamy emulsion like Dr Ceuracle, would you typically replace MG with that in your routine? Mine is on the way and I’ve been curious about whether it’s just too much with MG in the same routine. (Dry due to aging and living in the desert here.)
I don't split them up because my skin is like a sponge! 😂 Experiment and see what you like because everyone's skin, environment and routine is different!
