I am so proud to announce that my NQT support guide is COMPLETE! I've spent many months creating this document and I am very proud of the final product. The guide will be ready to be sent out on Sunday 25th August, 2019 (and any day after that too, of course.) If you would like to receive a copy of the book be sure to send me your email address via email or Instagram, contacts listed below.
Examples of pages the guide includes: NQT guidance, Subject Knowledge, Classroom Preparation, Classroom Routines, Lesson Observations, Work Life Balance, Websites & Apps... and many more! Great job! It looks very professional. Quick note although you're probably aware... your apostrophe on the routines sample page is in the wrong place for don'ts.

I'm really glad I've found your channel. I'm just about to start my NQT year, with year 4's. I'm really excited (mixed with a smidgen of terror). I have to keep reminding myself that, not only am I starting at a new workplace but also, I am starting a whole new career and there will be an adjustment period, so I need to give myself a bit of leeway and not expect perfection. It really helps to know that there are, or have been, so many others who have felt much of what I am feeling and that they survived!

Hi Katie, I'm just going into my final year of teacher training (of a 4 year course - it's been a journey!) and I would love to buy this for my NQT next September. Do you think your book will still be available then? I would love to have it but being a student I'm not financially able to purchase one at the moment

Is this just primary please? I would still like a copy!

It’s mostly primary but maybe some of the skills are transferable to secondary/ early years, such as lesson observations, classroom management, own NQT year predictions. I can’t guarantee that you’ll find all of it useful but hopefully some. If you’d like some more preview pages feel free to message me on Instagram and once you decide pop me your email :) no pressure at all, make sure it’s something you will find useful! X
