Her face is all ready astonishingly beautiful. She's perfect. If I had that face I wouldn't do one tiny thing to mess with it. That said, I'm glad she's happy (presumably) with the result.
I just got both bucal fat and chin lippo. I am one week out, I can see results. I know I am still puffy but already love the results.....easy process. Not much pain, maybe the first 24 hours.
To everyone watching this video... Please take into consideration that these results were taken at only 2 weeks out from the procedure. I got this done at 23 years old and it took about 6 months - 1 year before my entire face began to brutally collapse in on itself and become gaunt. I just turned 25 and look like I've been abusing methamphetamines. No one should ever EVER get this procedure - the results are drastic and irreversible down the line. There are so many other ways to get a better facial contour - never ever do something that can't be fully reversed.
What happened to you usually happens if your facial bones are not well developed and your overall bone mass is poor. Sorry this happened to you though, have you looked into fat transfer using your own fat?
Excellent. Would love to see this procedure done on someone who is in the 5th, 6th decade of life w/significant jowls (if feasible). I'd fly in from the east coast to get this done. TY for your time.
Don't understand why women want this. She would have achieved that look once she got into her late 30s. Hope you stay in touch with her and see how her face looks like in 10ish years. Bet she's going to be missing that fat! 😱 Right now she just looks older. To each their own I guess.
Unfortunately I disagree with you, not all women will achieve that look on their late 30s, my mom is over 60s, she still has her buccal fat their and it makes her lower face looks saggy and droopy plus her smile lines became more showing even though her skin is nice and she didn’t wrinkle at all ( thanks to moisturizer and sunscreen and she never applied makeup on her skin), I would advise any one who wants to have this surgery to choose an honest and professional Dr as a first and the second thing better to have it removed partially not all of it and it works better if it’s combined with a mini facelift because if all the fat pad is removed and you are really a good candidate your skin will be saggy specially around the mouth.
@@meryemeosfor5962 ? The sagging on your mom's face is due to age. I'm talking about this specific young woman who is thin. Everyone's face will look saggy and droopy in their 60s unless they get cosmetic work done. Your mom definitely has fat loss along with sagging and drooping which is causing the her smile lines to be more pronounced by the way. No one keeps their facial fat in their 60s like it was in their 20s. It's the process of aging to lose fat and get saggy droopy skin. When you remove any facial fat it's just going to look worse when you're older. If your mom had the surgery in her 20s and never had a facelift, etc. She will look worse today. The fat pad helps keep everything in place. Don't be fooled by this surgery. Read surgeons who don't do buccal fat removal because they notice the skin starts to droop and hollow at a faster pace.
@@soupnfresh yes you are right but even when she was younger she had that saggy jowl !! I’m 30!! And I have that saggy jowl as well my dr suggested partial buccal fat removal along with a mini-facelift for better results, buccal fat surgery it makes huge difference in a good way for the right candidate.
@@meryemeosfor5962 I'm sorry but you are being lied to by your surgeon. I suggest you get a second opinion. Saggy jowls has nothing to do with buccal fat... That's your skin sagging. So you think the buccal fat is sagging? Think about it. I think your surgeon just wants to get more $$$ from you. Get a second opinion. Also, if you're 30 with saggy jowls, it may have to do with your weight. If you lose weight your skin will retract. You may not even need surgery! Or it could be caused by fillers too since filler migrates. I think you will regret removing buccal fat but to each their own.
Great information! From the front, the pt. looks the same, except for her new haircut! May we see her again in 6 months to a year? Can this procedure be done with a liposuction cannula accessing from the inside of the mouth? Is the use of filler effective in addressing puckering or uneven tissue distribution post op? Do weight fluctuations have an impact on the result over the years? Does the scar tissue create a "scaffolding", thereby maintaining structure in the cheeks throughout the years? P.S. I wouldn't recommend that the pt. be allowed to return to work after the procedure! Resting with head elevated may decrease tension on sutures! Walking around all day with new incisions causes too much downward pulling and may affect the healing process! Even driving or riding in a car creates too much motion! Pts. have wound healing and scar issues when they don't rest and recover! Just because you think you can, doesn't mean you should!
Thanks for the advice. I do know a surgeon who uses a cannula like device to suction out fat but I believe it is less precise and makes it difficult to control for bleeding. I have not seen puckering or uneven distribution postoperatively. Loss of weight may lead to general thinning of subcutaneous fat which may enhance the effect of buccal fat surgery.
i think having slight chubby cheeks makes one look younger removing them can make you look older and a harder look to the face - take Salena Gomez she is adorable because of her childlike slightly chubby cheeks look.
You can definitely see the left side buccal fat pad was smaller in the 3-D image. She was already gorgeous before though (& still is after.) There was zero point in having the surgery. It was not an issue. I find it disheartening that a person who looks as beautiful as she did before, can't love themselves enough for 'gorgeous' to be enough. Especially when so many people have no where near the level of 'beauty' that she started with.... & have great self esteem about themselves & their 'original' face.
Doctor, please guide me. Whenever i tilt my head or upside down my cheeks follow and it feels heavy and also does affect the way i talk (sounding like there’s a food i my mouth because of heaviness) and whenever my cheeks follows into my head position, there is a hollowness in the part where the cheeks is normally sitting. Does buccal fat removal help with this procedure? Or other procedure? And i could also see jowl even when i am still in my early 20s
Its a weird thing to have in our faces, I understand its function is to absorb shocks, but it feels strange to have it from evolutionary point of view..
Hi, Thanks for the video,I am a dentist I will have a bichectomy surgery in 2022 dec. Could you send me some infos about your 3d camera please. I would like to buy the same for me. Thanks a lot ! dr. Xaver Kocsis
Hello Dr. I am a 23 year old male that would love to have Buccal fat removal. My only concern is that I have cheek dimples in my face. Will me dimples become larger..? Thanks :)
Hey, Dr. I just had my buccal fat pads removed about 5 days ago. Idk if it's due to swelling, but my perorial mounds or the area that was supposed to become inward has now become even more chubby. As of right now, I am not happy with my results. What do I do??
Although time is most certainly a factor you owe it to yourself to discuss this with your surgeon. Its hard for me to answer without seeing you in person.
Its swelling. When u have surgery on ur checks they will swell up after surgery and look fuller before the swelling goes away. You have to wait for the swelling to go down completely before you can see the results
These warnings about looking gaunt when older may apply to thin people what about people like me who are naturally buxom and weighty and rather matronly? I can’t live the rest of my life on a permanent diet in a bid to look slim in the face and not like Betty boop post menopause. It’s just not going to happen. think it would make people like me look better no matter what age
It is the worst procedure. If you Want to ruin your face- do it. I deeply regret it. After 1 month I look so much older and tired. Crying everyday Y because I know, I did it by myself. There are no good candidates for this. Your face will collapse and I can do nothing about my look in this stage because you have to wait to restore your face. Pleas do your research. It is absolutely not worth it but all the surgeon will do that and tell you you are a good candidate because it is an very easy procedure under Lokal anasthesia that bring them some €€€€
This is an important comment. I have not personally seen or heard of this response to buccal fat removal surgery (except for one patient who wanted to fat graft back to the space) but it's certainly important to recognize that this outcome can occur, as you demonstrate. The are options for you, and I recommend you seek a qualified plastic surgeon in your area to examine you and discuss your concerns. I'd also love to meet with you if you are in the US.
I've been wanting buccal fat added to my face because I feel as though I look a bit gaunt. I feel like i would look better in the before photo, but then again it really depends on the person and their perspective because her after is truly gorgeous.
