YOOOOO! I am just getting caught up on my watch list and am finally getting to see this and omg, thank you for the shout out! You're the sweetest. And I am loving this camera history and journey
❤️❤️❤️ You were the one who said you probably have some backups… I have 3 TX-1’s now 😅 I’ll have to send one over if you can’t find one. You’ve helped me tremendously 🫶🏼
Cool! I started working in a camera store in 2001 and was in the camera selling business until 2016… I have been selling all these models so lots of nostalgia ☺️ MiniDV vas a pretty cool system from Sony that died faster than minidisc 😁
@@HennyThaBizness Yeah where good… I just realised I meant microDV. It was an even smaller tape and only Sony made a couple of cameras for the format 😄
Loved that ending! Amen brother! Awesome that you are not afraid to speak out. We need more RU-vidrs like that, heck at times I think I need to be more bold. Merry Christmas! Great video.
Just got a tx 1 from my dad’s moving haul and am so stoked after getting a new charger. The footage looks so vibey. Can’t wait to put some chicago montages together
Thanks for sharing and bringing joy to everyones day! I had the gateway DVs20 which is kind of a handycam and it was pretty cool to carry around and by the end of day look at your day. Like a diary for yourself. But I do remeber those nice nokia handycam phones that where breaking barriers like the N93 Happy new year to everyone!
My dad is giving his mavica from back in 97, I can remember my mom buying it for him for Christmas at circuit city at the time. It was the first big gift I seen him get, now I will get to make some videos with it. Looks like it takes a floppy disk and a compact sd
Hi Henny I really enjoyed your video!! And like you I have been getting some old digi-cams myself. I have Canon Power Shot SD1100, SD1200, and the S95, Nikon Coolpix D4200 and S4200, Samsung WB35F, Sanyo, Kodak Easy Share M577, Olympus 170 and I think my most favorite is the Kodak Easy Share M577 because it has built in film filters Kodachrome, Ektachrome, Kodacolor, T-Max, Tri-Max, and Sepia. It has a Schneider lens and has a touch screen. I have found most of mine at thrift stores for $10 and less. My Samsung was $1.50. Best of luck in your photography journey!! Best wishes Duane
Snapping! This summer I sold about ten old digicams from 2004-2015! Some lucky sucker is out there selling them at 10x! Have a wonderful Christmas buddy.
Happy birthday big bro i love you blessings on your birthday and merry Christmas may you continue your journey with your beautiful family and always remember that you are loved 🥰 happy birthday 🥳 😊
Wow that’s amazing, you really went down that camera rabbit hole 😂 The cameras i had was the ones that you had to get negatives developed 😮I guess I’m telling my age now 😂 Awesome Video 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾
kool video, I have a few digicams but my favorite EDC one is the Canon SD1200IS I got new in 2011. I use it when I don't want to carry around a DSLR or larger mirrorless model.
I just dug out my canon PowerShot tx1 this past month. I took it to Europe and got some great pictures. The best part is when I was flying back over the Atlantic I was zooming in on some other aircraft. I’m in South America right now and unfortunately I left it home. No worries, I’ll be back in June. I’m about to upload a video I just edited from the tower of terror ride from start to finish I shot on it back in 2010 ish.
The Casio Exilim EX-S100 is also one to check out, its the size of a stack of creditcards, and has 3.2 megapixels. Perfect cam to always have in a pocket
I had the TX1!!! That thing was a little technical marvel!! 720p video MJPEG was crazy. Only bad part was the lens was prone to getting dust behind it. Mine did. 😞
Nice but how do you not have a Fuji Finepix? the F30/F31fd is widely considered the best digicam ever made. The early versions of Astia and Chrome on it are excellent. Should definitely add one.
