We are desperately waiting you to commute via metro, no vibrations at all, acceleration is smooth (depends on pilot), decent speed and great ergonomics you can ride while sitting or standing, and very economical as well + you will be able to do some cardio while climbing stairs and running on walk ways.
I tried the Metro once and it was the worst commuting experience. Takes 15 mins to reach the metro station from home. Then you gotta stand for an hour in the metro. Then take another auto to office and spend another 20 minutes on the road. While coming back home, I was so tired that day that I dozed off and missed my station. So, I'm neither saving time nor money by taking the metro.
@@Modiyogimodiyogimodi bro ventilation has nothing to do with people breathing in your face. Like its not a solution. Why even bother comparing it to private jet when literally your car can do that? My problem with metro is that here in bengaluru its barely connected to a lot of places. You can get to an area. But going from there might become a pain.
Hi sir ; big fan I just wanted to know why haven't you uploaded any update about the R15 V3 you been modifying since past 4-5 yrs and haven't finished it ?
At times its ok to forget the expense at some scenario where in i use hilux for daily mumbai traffic around 35kms to and fro that even in rain and moreover allmost all rain jackets leaks after a point and at times that wet dress is no way better than stuck in traffic , atleast im inside a comfortable seat with AC and snacks to muchin while stuck in traffic. but probably i will shift to bike post rain. (Hilux mileage at bumper to bumper traffic is around 8 and normal city is 9 and highway 12))
@@abhinavbhatt mumbai traffic spoils the fun even for bike also its heading to pure conjution. At this point my busa and my avenger took allmost same time to reach and on top of the terrible drivers, bikers life risk is also high.. its a delima now bike will cut through traffic but again burning the higher cc bike is of any use rather get a avenger or some high cushioned seat based bike will help a comfortable bumb support at never ending traffic... solution what i feel move out of tier 1 city and head to tier 2.. how realstic not sure..at this im driving a manual civic 1.8 and then clutch torchur makes me a `manualshift head` how much a automatic car is in city... its heaven
19:00 drove a car for the first 30000 km for 5 years after I got my licence, alongside 60,000 km on scooters as part of college commute, work etc). Shifted to motorcycles post the 1st wave in Aug 2020. 33000 km of motorcycles (a V15, Himalayan and now a BS4 Duke 390), and I haven’t touched a car or scooter since then. They’re simply too boring and mind numbing, scooters being extremely unsafe and unstable. The first 90,000 km I barely remember whereas this last 33 I remember with so much fondness. Especially my preowned duke on which I’ve done 4360 km in the last 8.5 month.
Dear Abhinav, as someone who also commutes to gurgaon twice a week from greater noida which is about 60-65 km one way, you could not be more spot on about the gym going situation that comes with it , i literally have no energy after coming from office, fortunately the himalayan 450 does help a little in the sense that i really love riding it, there's also the money aspect of commuting my hyryder gives me around 22-23 average in the city , where as i get around 35-37 on my himalayan, that being said in the rainy season having a car is a godsent for real. However i'd choose the himlayan over the car anyday. Appreciate your videos 🥰.
I believe EVs are the future of commute, they cost nothing to run, are easy to drive, no expensive maintenance, and are comfortable and can be chauffeur driven.
Btw, do journalists get paid well? Or have you invested well to afford multiple high end bikes and the hilux etc. I believe a video on how you manage finances will actually help a lot of people. Of course, not divulging personal financial information.
the skill tree when it comes to a journalist is huge, you don't need much to start, a youtube channel is enough but the tree is SO HIGH to climb that the income bracket in which a journalist might lie is huge.
Since you've mentioned commuting on a scooter to work, i'd recommend you try the Aerox 155, city commute on a gearless is comparatively easier, i finished college commuting 60 kms back n and forth on a scooty for 3 years , never had problem with it
Hey Abhinav, what is your take/advise on buying a Diesel SUV going forward in 2025? Provided all the talks about diesel cars/Bans/Scrapping etc. Even if the they dont completely ban, But the limited 10 year usage means the resale will be practically NILL after 7-8 years of usage. I just want to know your thoughts on this, do you advise investing in Diesel Thar/Hilux ?
in the same boat as you, 600rs daily if I commute with my Etios Liva petrol, or 150rs if I commute with my Pulsar 150. Time saved is another bonus. but Delhi's humid heat just doesn't take a break.
@@abhinavbhatt agreed. Being able to ride through traffic in which cars remain stagnant is just bliss. Sitting idle in traffic is more tiring than riding.
I can never uxe my motorcycle to work. Did it when I started working at 22 but in a few months borrowed my dad's marati 800. I hate going to work stinking of diesel/paetrol fumes, dust and sweat mix3d in. Since then unless on rare occasions, its always th3 car for me when commuting to office. Fo4 me moto4cycles are for pleasure riding. Weekend or when I do long tours.
You should try some nice electric scooters. They're a hoot to ride especially in cities. The aether 450x is agile, superb acceleration and all. In cities anyway you're not going to do top speeds but the electric acceleration is very fun.
