My Official 2024 NBA Mock Draft is here! This is my first time trying this so lemme know your thoughts.
Where my picks for these lottery teams valid or do you have other guys going to these organizations? Comment below !

for the spurs why two guards when they need a pg and a sf with a backup center?

In my eyes, Castle can play the 1-3 so he could play that forward spot especially if the playmaking isnt where you want it to be out the gates

We’re not getting two guards take that to the bank. You obviously don’t know what we need. Spurs fan since 1973 and during the Pop era you just don’t know what his picking. We got an idea and it’s not 2 guards

My top 6 would be this although they won't get drafted this way. 1. Clingan 2. Castle 3. Sheppard 4. Sarr 5. Holland 6. Topic

We are not getting Castle. He’s a Keldon Johnson repeat and we don’t know what to do with him anymore. He can’t defend 6’7”, 6’8”,6’9” wings and his shooting is not good enough so what’s the point just because everybody else is saying so? Spurs don’t think so. They’re not getting themselves in a Keldon Johnson situation again. And Castle is not 6’7” reports have him at 6’5.5”. No thanks we are getting two big wings in the first round and a point guard late first round with a trade up

He and Keldon are nothing alike and the Spurs might not have a choice of what they want because this class as a lot of tier 2 prospects and no true tier 1 or even a generational guy at all. Wemby needs playmakers to come in for Wemby and the Spurs have some time here as they focus on getting a cornerstone in 2025, so guards are definitely possible if they can provide that more than the rest of the class can.

Stephon Castle at 4 and Kevin Carter at 8. These are the likely picks. I am not sure why these mockers keep sticking the Spurs will Dillingham. Few, if any fans, I speak to want that dude and there seems to be little buzz for this undersized, no defense dude among San Antonio sports media. Everything though hinges on the first three picks and who goes there. Probably Sarr, Risacher, and Sheppard. But if Atlanta, Wash or Hous pick someone else, they Spurs could take any of the three not selected.

This draft doesn’t have the top end talent like we’ve seem in some drafts like last year, but I personally think this draft is incredibly deep leaving the door open for teams in the 15-25 range to get steals
