I almost bought redwings but no one would ship them to Australia. There's only 1 RW dealer in Australia and the Aussie tax makes the price close enough to Nicks that I didn't buy any. Nice vid 👍
i have many nicks whites wesco and lofgrens, but I still have 20 pairs redwings in my collection, just first love is always special. plus if you consider price wise redwing is really good value, they do not have an mid sole like nicks but the veg tan insole is thicker than 99 percent of all boots.
Ya they are a great entry into higher quality American made boots. 10 years ago I’d say Wolverine 1000 Mile was a better buy, but Wolverine’s quality went off a cliff in the last 3-4 years. Their newest production feels so cheap.
Do you have any videos with the iron rangers on feet? Curious because I’d like to see how they fit on you compared to how they fit on me comparing in between the lace area to see how the width between the lacing is. Because I’m on the fence about ordering a white’s c350 cutter LTT but not sure if the laces will be to close together like how my Alden Indy’s are.

Maybe least $100. Hell, I'd pay that much if they were my size. The videos of re-soling new boots drive me nuts, too. Revival Shoe Repair is in East LA and does these all the time. You might like them a lot more with a leather mid-sole added. I'm going to get a rough out/suede cleaning kit and I'd be happy to clean them up for you. You might be surprised how nice they can get.
@@EDHBlvd I get that. One of my two pairs of IRs are very well loved and I look forward to getting a re-sole and mid-sole added...but you know I'm going to wear them down to the nubs before that happens!
I got 2 pairs. A rough out pair I forgot the color name and Copper Rough and tough if I recall it correctly. I like the suede better. Both are cool. Idk you got a lot of life left in those. I would have mine redone once they are worn out if the upper is in good shape.
