Bro it seems like you did ZERO research about your zerrows, you should probably do a quick google search and learn something about them like how to pronounce things? Sorry dude but this is pretty poor effort just to get views.
It’s more that the website is poor. Same with Whites. If you check all the categories on the Whites site, you’ll never find the C355 Logger boot. However if you search “C355” it will show up. These boot companies seem to have very poor website management.
Get the vibram sole 8870 Newlfex in 5MM it comes in tan color, it will add some height in profile but you can cut it to fit and make quasi "half sole" it will last a long time and you can probably keep gluing new pieces on as they wear through protecting the oem leather sole for many generations.
I found out these boots were actually a custom fit boot. The seller lied saying they were “off the shelf 11E”. Inside the boots on the vamps it says “Fit 11E” on one boot and “12 1/2E” crossed out on the other. Both shafts show 11E stamp.
revisiting this video because I agree with what you said at 18:05 about nicks lasts. I am a 10.5D brannock with my heel to ball measurements at an 11D. For my nicks Americana's I purchased a size 11D a half size up from brannock and true to size heel to ball. I own a pair of nick's packers in size 10.5D true to size and a pair of Roberts 10D half size down from brannock all though for this Robert purchased it really needed to be 10.5D and not 10D. Nicks lasts sizing are all different and when they say all the lasts fit the same Id say that's false.
Absolutely can not wait to get mine!! I needed this video to fill the wait. Completely random question but does your order still say needs to be printed?
Yes my order says the same. My guess is that is the new “BOM Printed and filed” status. Except maybe they don’t print until later? Not sure though. Care to share your spec?
@EDHBlvd absolutely! 10 inch, cut top, pull loop, brass hooks and eyes, thurman 55, classic heel stack, honey vibram, bees wax edge. I gotta get those laces you have they compliment your pair really well.👌
@@familyretrogaming1035 the laces are the “54" LO STIVALE MATTE COGNAC STEERHIDE LACES” from Guarded Goods. But you’ll need something longer for a 10” boot.
@EDHBlvd I'm really excited and your videos on natural dublin are among the best of the best. Thank you for the lace info! I will have to continue lookinh for some longer ones.
@@EDHBlvd man great video I have talked with cobblers and not a lot of cobblers will work on Stitch down because the Rapid E won't go threw so thick of leather
I know it might sound crazy, but; what about sending those to Frank's for the resole? Yeah I'm a fan... I have a Badalassi Carlo Pueblo veg tan build in progress and they handle it carefully. Nonetheless, I'm curious about getting a Lancaster Dublin build at some point. That stuff is like 9 oz! 😂
This is an excellent, informative review. Thanks for taking the time particularly for telling us your experience and your preferences. (I don't share all of your preferences but I so much appreciate hearing why you like what you do. This is also helpful in making choices.) Please do a follow up, especially when you've given them some harder wear. Curious about this leather too.
i do some research on the internet about this leather but dont really get it. It's sure look full grain to me but what else make it different to the other full grain beside being natural colour ?
This leather was designed by Horween to look similar to their Dublin leather’s, but to be more water resistant. As such it’s a chrome tanned leather (for water resistance) with a vegetable re-tan done, to give it some of the veg tan look and aspects. It feels significantly different than Natural Chromexcel and Natural Dublin to me. Closer to Natural Chromexcel, but more beefy.
Man I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. Give up on Tudor, but don’t give up on the hobby. There are still plenty of brands out there that will take good care of you.
