A surprise I’m the mail from Emma, Bob, and Amy. Nice to see what parts that once were mine went to. Also we look at LEGO 9v Train Set 4553 Train Wash from 1999. Discuss a comment I got on a neatly 2 year old video (comment was recent - video was old) from the time we went to Colorado. Went to Garden of the Gods. Also the LEGO Store and I discuss that there wasn’t much I wanted with the new releases this year. Why can’t I get multiple promos - has LEGO limited them? My top most wanted set is a train set - set 138 Electronic Train. Shirt of the day is MST3K Great Cheesy Movie Circus Tour - which we got to see right before the pandemic shut everything down

Hallo BrickTsar, some ideas: color coded magnetic labels, move them with a set or box as you reorganise. If you plan on buying the box for the set 4553 istead of a platik bag, place them in a carton of that size, add a pic of set , you can add any info on it also. Knowing the size once completted might help with next place to keep. One of the things I try to do all the time is writting the date on it. Updates also when a part is accomplished. Amazing when I find a sticky with something like 8/94, can't be that long ago, LOL. Thank you, Carola

It's really cool that your channel takes us back to the vintage sets. When LEGO was more about the imagination of building than capitalizing on movie/show themes.

I guess it what makes them the most money…. But sets like these appeal to me more. I view lego as a miniature world that closely resembles the real world. That’s why my favorites are trains, modulars and speed champions. It would be great to see lego do more sets like these, but they probably wouldn’t sell as good as “Spider-Man's tank chase scene” 😂

Something that might help if you ever choose to peel that LEGO sticker off, a high % rubbing alcohol may help, I’ve watching videos of ppl that fix repair old Xbox’s, PlayStation and stuff like that and they just take the alcohol and pour some on and let it rest for a bit then take a razor blade to help it up, they do it to keep the warranty stickers whole when trying to get behind the sticker for access to the screws and reattach at the end.

I put two orders in and got the vintage car in both, whether it makes a difference that I'm in the UK I don't know. I did put my orders in just after midnight before I went to bed after seeing the new year in, but the offer banner was up for a few days after, it is not now. I know you don't collect the Harry Potter sets but that had the offer of The Monster Book of Monsters set and I got that at the same time. Later in the day when I was considering putting another order in to keep sealed it had already sold out, if a free gift with purchase can be said to be sold out. So it could be that in the US the Vintage Car was very popular and sold out quickly.

I love Colorado but it’s expensive to live there, everyone is there from California. Lego city is crazy expensive! I did order some of those new road plates just to see how there are. I’m going to just set up a small city with them. I got 2 of the freebies but both of my orders said back ordered and then a couple days later they emailed me and said they where out of stock! 🤔

The Irony of being an avid collector sourcing all the weird and short lived themes - Yet, not embracing the newer "quirks" . I bet in 15 years time, you'll be buying this years City sets, wishing you bought them at the time for only $50, instead of $150. You just know, in 5 years time you are going to start buying back all them CHIMA sets you sold :) lol

2:33 your 10 years too late. If only LEGO recognised that AFOLs would be interested in buying city grade LEGO train rolling stock and accessories. It doesn’t have to be creator expert grade to capture the market and give AFOLs what we want to buy
