Moving the Bricklink store and precariously stacking the Stackons. They are Stackons after all. Plus the risk of ping transactions outside of Bricklink

I don't have BrickLink or eBay or any access to the Internet at all :D so can you send me - 30 white 2x4 bricks & 60 1x2 blue bricks & that sort of odd shape brick(not sure what it is called or the number of it or the colour of it is but I am sure you don't mind spending hours looking for it for me) I'll have 50 of those & I'll pay by cash via me posting it on the back of a Pigeon. Will that be ok??? :D :D :D

Interesting fact: the Bricks and Pieces warehouse in Billund uses those Yellow and Grey style ‘bins’ in their massive operation. It was incredible to see!

You should put up a 2x2 frame with a sheet of drywall screwed on then bolted into the floor

Looking good so far, to support the storage boxes that are back to back. Use a sheet of plywood between to strengthen them up.and anchor from the ceiling. Great video of how it is going 👍. Keep on bricking it up 👍

I popped on here on my laptop to say something similar (watch on my TV). My thought was to add a couple of long 2x4s to the top of the floating units, and then run 2-4 2x4s to the wall that has the units attached - that way, they would be attached to each other, and allow light to shine down.

You could put wooden planks on top of the stack ons stretching over the aisle and fastening the two together. It’s might be a little annoying if you hit your head on it, but it could work.

I think you should do more Rick Marshall in your videos! Definitely! The question is how often you'll actually fall between the rows and into the rows?! Of you predict several falls I'd probably fasten it to the ceiling by way of a plate between the two back-to-back stacks. Or maybe you can fasten the stackons to each other back-to-back? Just a thought!

I did that at the storage unit that's why I built a loft over my bins so the supported each other without being screwed into the wall

you know....if you had shelves on wheels, you could have them sideways like you have them now, and then as you need one of the box you just roll it out to access it....would that save or create more space for you? I was thinking of doing that in my garage for things I didn't have to access all of the time, but it would still be easy to get to.

#BAT: I’m sure you’ve discussed this in the past, but I was wondering what you do with your personal stash of LEGO. Do you make MOCs, or are your LEGO used mainly for piecing other sets together?

How is the parts picking going to work? Do you you plan to walk the line in a linearly? Or did you setup for side to side picking to reduce the # of steps per pick and then later start multi order picking on your cart.
@BrickTsar
@BrickTsar 2 года назад
I don’t care got multi picking - the store isn’t big enough to worry about saving an extra 3 or 4 steps. I would never pick more than one order at a time either. Again it’s not worth saving a couple of steps and increases risk of mistakes. I have seen other stores do those methods and it seems it takes them longer amyway
@GreatBrickLab
@GreatBrickLab 2 года назад
@@BrickTsar I understand that if your orders are low in # and you are able to run operations on your own then it may only add work not help.

🤣🤣🤣 Jaabo, i AM really scared for you : You shaked at the end, all I saw was a Red sea wobbling like a snake. That looks really so shaky. I agree what Sergeant said, but mine (Idea) is bolted on the floor. But no plywood, actual walls of wood. Use sturdier planks of wood, please do not use plywood, please ! Like IKEA says bolt everything down !!! Most people don't read instructions and ignore the extra screws and whatsnot leftover.
