I got bit by a black widow earlier this summer. Oddly enough, I did not feel the bite *at all* but it got real nasty throughout the rest of the week. The fang marks are permanent on my hand now. The doctor said that I'm apparently extremely tolerant to black widow venom.
Well doctors over exacerate. Black widows are not that deadly. To children yes. Or people with heart problems. But a full grown adult, no. Amtihistomenes and ice pack..no doctor needed. Any reliable science website will tell you the same thing.
@@zainismail7703 males don’t have the neurotoxin in their venom so unless it was a male then they aren’t tolerant to the venom but if it was a female your families genetics would have a anti venom in your family because that stuff is hereditary or they already have been bitten by a black widow got anti venin and built an immunity it was a male if it wasn’t what i just stated
I’ve always been fascinated by black widows. For some reason them, along with tarantulas, don’t give me the “aaah creepy spider” feeling. I love them but will be happily admiring them from a distance ❤
I found this interesting as I am recovering from a Widow bite on my thigh. I didn't feel the bite but got the inflammation and infection. Currently on antibiotics and such but have a better respect plus knowledge of Widows
