Finally, they're making Archetypes for OG cards, now Gilford the Lightning needs an archetype

They can roll it into 1 with the Gearfrieds, Flame Swordsman and other cards. They will need to make some of the monster dual type, so you can fuse into Gilti Gearfried.

The fact is that, albeit you can't read it on their text anymore, they still make them being considered Phantom Beasts despite there's no support for them aside from the "bird" which boost them while in the gy. They should make some real support anew, even just one card to link them all would be enough.

The deck can make use of SuperPoly as well, especially against other decks that run fiends like Branded and Labrynth to make your LV6 Chimera. The LV6 Chimera is also Wind which can SuperPoly with enemy Apollousa and Baronne.

I’ve been testing the deck with a hop ear squadron to summon omega to rip a second card or accel synchron to go into Baronne along with a small branded engine. Once the new level 6 fusion comes out that foolishes on summon, a small tri-brigade engine to dump kit/nerval and then go kerass into shuraig is pretty cool too

People don't seem to realise that the chimera fusion is playable in frightfur, so that deck with scythe has about 6 fusion summons on opponents turn

It was a type in both the manga and one of the old games, I think it was renamed to Dream type in the west on said game. The actual illusion type monsters besides the Magician that you will see in the next couple of sets are designs ripped from one of the games.

@@SeallyC What would you use them with? I felt running them with Branded was just worse version of Branded. But best version of this new archetype. I am interested because they're oldschool, so welcome to ideas.

@@armene48ou are correct, branded is just a better deck made less good by these cards, but illusion is for sure better having branded fusion to slam down as a playmaker or ash bait.
