I started my career in tech without any connections or support at a leading software (SaaS) company, and it changed my life. I started out making around $50,000/yr as a sales development rep, and in under 4 years by the age of 26, I was promoted 6 times and made $302,000 as a Senior Account Executive.
I've created over 1k RU-vid videos helping teach more people about this amazing career as I'm now on a mission to instill my years of industry expertise into others, allowing tech sales to change their lives just like it changed mine.

It's positive that you want to re-enter the corporate world. Be prepared to handle a lot of rejection and navigate a challenging job market. It wouldn't be unexpected if it takes months before you secure your next role. Plus make sure the fit, OTE, and mission make sense to you.

Trent, you'll do great, lots of good companies want someone that will do the work and very few people are willing to do 10K calls year after year. However, and I'm sure you've thought about this. Are you being too transparent and forthcoming on this channel? Your previous employer either decided you were or used that as an excuse to fire you. There's a thousand videos of content and that can make a potential employer nervous about what you might say. On this video you offered to share the names of the 21 companies you're approaching in a newsletter. There can be value in keeping your own counsel.

I know you said that you’re not in a rush to get back in but why not land a sas job even if you’re not super happy with it, to continue broadening your experience and search for better opportunities on the side. If you want to get back in the game, you might as well jump right in.
