Legendary Collection! Also find terrifying how you have to deal with the organization of that massive wall of games. Lots of time spent on it, im pretty sure :D Keep up the amazing collecting! Thank you for the video.
YAAYYY Thank you so much for watching! :) 😊😊🙌 I really appreciate it!! I decided this christmas (even though i'm saving) i'm gonna just blow my last few euro on about 5 more very expensive PS1 Games that i don't have, just to make up for only getting like less than 40 games this year off the list. And thank you so much the final video it still might be a year or two away but i'll let you know when it's up :) Really appreciate you watching thank you! ^.^ ☺️☺️
ahhhh man. I plan to get a collection similar to you first 4 rows one day. little to no sports games tho :) . well done and I hope its continued growing . stay safe man :)
I once had a collection about half the size of yours. I only wanted the black case cd label art, over silver platinum versions because I believe they are worth more value. During a move to another place, I stored a lot of items, including my collection. The storage was in a flood zone & it poured that year. I couldn't salvage anything due to the sewage from the drains was a part of the flood.
18 columns, each column rounded 70, 70x18=1,260 I think the whole pal game releases triples that number, not counting the Japanese & American exclusives
@@paranoidgenius9164 Very sorry to hear that. Yeah one thing to worry about as collectors is things like house fires, leakages, etc because once that happens then it's all gone and insurance won't cover it. That happened to LarryBundyJR btw back in 2010, his whole childhood collection was destroyed when he temporarily left his games in his shed. The room leaked in. He made a video about it.
@@paranoidgenius9164 Yeah! That one never got released right? There's even some games now that were never released that are PAL PS1 that are being printed on actual discs with artwork and being sold on ebay. Because they're unofficial releases i won't be bothering. Luckily i got all my rare stuff out of the way early so there's no pressure for me to get the last few games. I'm needing about between 170 - 190 games but lately i haven't been spending money on PS1 Games as i'm saving for the new iPhone & doing Crypto stuff.
My oh my.. This collection is epic! Since you are such a huge Ps1 collector, i have question for you. If you find games with really broken cases, do you replace the case? And if so, where do you find them? Or do you completely avoid the broken ones? Because i find a lot of broken ones, i pick them up but i would love to fix them up
Thank you for the comment! What i do when i get a broken case for a game, is i just leave all of those games with broken cases on a shelf to then someday go back to those games and replace them with better ones! I used to buy PS1 Games in bulk, and sell on the spares.. i haven't done that in about 2 years but that's what i use to always do is just buy games i already had and replace the good cases with my ones and then sell on the spares with the broken cases. I believe 'good condition PS1 Cases' someday might be rare! Haha
@@Playstation1 Thanks so much for the reply! I might have go get some lots then. I have been trying to look for empty cases and people ask so much for them, so I might be cheaper off buying lots of games actually. I believe they will be rare aswell! They seem rare enough already if you ask me😅
I’m just gonna give this a shot.. I remember a PS1 game from my childhood. The cover art was like black with a dark red hue to it and a reptile head on it.. in the game itself I remember a level where you were in a mansion and had to escape from the reptile (I think) through doors and hallways. The hallways would be in an empty black void of sorts. I could never find the game again, but seeing your huge collection, perhaps you know or even have a game/cover art that resembles what I described! 👉👈
Thank you! And I'm sure it is! It can be hard at times even here too to find old games. I think ebay is a great option personally, but it's getting more expensive for us all :/
@@Playstation1 More expensive? It depends Some games are getting reproduction on an entirely new disc/ cartrdige made by Fan's so they sell the Game as new and at a Good Low Price too Idk if you ever heard about it
oooo those mega man x and 8 games would be nice but i'll have to say no and get the re release versions. I will say yes to tronn bonn and the 2 ledgends one though :)
I feel like you could shave off 35% of the space taken if they weren't PAL cases. lol Also, I recently picked up Burstrick Wake Boarding for my PS1, was pretty fun; Recommend Vanishing Point, as well.
I was just thinking about that yesterday! You'd save a ton of space if the cases were slimmer. But i like the unique design, it makes them distinct from the NTSC ones.
you sir literally living my dream, and the collection is really awesome, those are pal releases right? I to want to start a ps1 collection, starting with the 30+ games I had as a child, problem is there almost no retro game stores in my country I literally found 3 and one of them closed down because of the CCP virus, is there any online stores besides ebay that you buy from? and if not what words and filter that you use to find good games and deals? I'm really new to this
I actually go out of my way to spend the high buy it now prices on ebay mostly! And i got most of mine when they were cheaper on ebay as well, or bought them in bulk bundles
@@Playstation1 You know what, how about you play the games and make a video about it? I'm sure nobody here on RU-vid know those thing exist, and you can get more engagement in the process That is if you have the right model like you said in the video
@@SuryaBudimansyah Some of these games are just screen savers also. So you put in the disc and just leave like a video playing that plays through the Playstation
@@SuryaBudimansyah As for Gameplay videos, a channel called 'RetroDetect' has a few on there of some of these games! There's six in total, and one has a variant.
Hi again, tell me my friend, wich types of shrink wrap around cellophane on ps1 brend new condition exist?? Clasic with and without Sony logo, I saw gold shrink wrap, is there any other way of factory packaging??
Do you have Driver 2 Box Set Edition new condition 😀 great collection my friend 😋 I am collect only ps1 fabric sealed games mint condition, hard to find at reasonable price.
The one with the keychain and postcards? I do have that yes! And yeah the resellers on ebay are destined to try and increase the value on stuff so they can make more money, it's sad.
Well there's benefits to both. The N64 uses cartridges however came in these boxes which could very easily get damaged. The PS1 has a huge library but the discs can get scratched and not work anymore. The PS1 had an easy to use duelshock controller and the N64 had this weird controller. But (if you care about graphics) the N64 graphics were better than the PS1 graphics. There really is good about both consoles. Since the PS1 is my favourite video game platform, i want all of the PS1 Games. The Sega Saturn is also another gaming platform i was also thinking of trying a full set for since the graphic style is so so so similar to the PS1's Graphics, which i happen to like.
@@Playstation1 I actually think the Playstation's overall are better than the Nintendo system's But I just Like to play the Nintendo Games better It goes by opinion
@@Darkscenes-jp4ge All these major electronics companies tried to make a Game's Consoles. Panasonic, Philips, Casio, Fujitsu, Pioneer etc.. but Sony got it right.
@@Playstation1 The Nintendo system's were weird tho Like The N64 was a downgrade from the SNES cause the snes had better Games And The Gamecube had Better Games than the wii
@@Darkscenes-jp4ge The SNES i would argue is better than the N64. I never knew anyone with an N64 growing up either back in the early 2000s. It was always people owning a PS1 and a PS2, Gameboys, or more rarely an Xbox. I never knew the Gamecube even existed until i was much older. I think my only N64ish memory was being in a McDonalds playing some Mario came that was plugged into an N64 on a TV Display.
