Hi,
I have been indirectly collecting for the mighty Playstation over the last few years, mainly collecting the titles i once loved, ones i always wanted to play, and games i would love to play in the future.
Because of this indirect approach i have collected a varied selection of games that are destined to be played.

Amazing collection! My PS1 section needs some love and watching this was super inspiring! Oddly enough Medievil is one of my favourite games so I can highly recommend it as just a silly fun little game :)

RU-vids can get dangerous watching other peoples collections, thats why we love it so much i suppose. Ive heard a lot of good things about medievil, maybe i should get the first one and give it a bash. (although ill probably just end up getting the remake 👌)

That bird is well freaky :D My PS collection pales in comparison to your mate. Loads of title I've never heard of (to be expected LOL) I only had the console for 2 years initially, and for another year in 'during 99/00. There are so many great titles on the PS too! X2 is the sequel to Project X on the Amiga, that was difficult too mate! I'm pleased to see that you've got a few of the most difficult titles to find on the PlayStation, especially as you've only spent a quid on them here and there :) It's been an education my friend! I've learned more than just the existance of Water Melon juice in this one mate :) Awesome!..

Haha, i was wondering what bird you meant, but yeah that whole game is, its identical on the PS2 and a lot more affordable if you ever wanted to submit yourself to a bit of torture. PS1 is one of those consoles its hard to know what all the games are there is so many. so a lot of great games get lost, would you pick one up again? As the PS1 wasnt a main focus ive done well, as ive only bought a few games off ebay, so ive had a lot of bargains, suikoden's/klonoa and vib ribbons were all CEX purchases, so ive paid a fraction of the cost. I have been tempted to buy the Megaman legends games, as they were ones i played as a kid, but im still trying to justify the cost as they slowly creep up in price. Cheers for watching 👍🏻

Great collection mate! 👍🏻 But no FFlX 😱 get it sorted mate, it’s double case too. A few there I might keep an eye out for. I would recommend: Tenchu Theme Hospital Broken Sword Syphon Filter Silent Hill Grandia

Yeah i know, im still looking for it at the carboot sale 👍🏻 im determined it will hapen. haha, but i am on a mission to try complete all the FF's in the next few years. I agree with all of them except 2, i actually do have Syphon Filter, but its in the over spill cupboard with the case doners And Tenchu, i really couldnt get on with that one. maybe i should give it another chance? I have actually really been wanting to play Theme Hospital again, ever since the two point hospital came out, but that looks too indepth for me.

Cheers mate. yeah point blank is a big hole in the collection, that was an absolute favorite growing up. I only just got a CRT again this year, and i think i want the big box versions of them, so i am looking, its just the Saturn has become my priority recently. And soon i think a few choice N64 titles.

Rollerxcore I'm also a retro collector, great to see the younger generation (you) that appreciates the older classics. Kids nowadays only seem to play fortnite and minecraft 👍

Enjoyed that mate, love the PS1 - loads of games that bring back memories there. Got my Playstation when I was 17, seems like yesterday. You scored on that obscure football game for a quid, crikey. Crisis Beat looks really interesting, going to have to check that one out. Even after all these years i've still to try Klonoa.....it's on the list, what can I say haha Loaded is great, very underrated.....still think the lighting effects look amazing. As for Psychic Detective - yeah i've got that game......I couldn't quite get whether you were saying you have the instruction book lying around somewhere or the seller didn't send it to you because he couldn't fit it in. Mine fits perfectly but interestingly the manual is entirely in English so it's quite thin.....perhaps you have the PAL EU instruction book rather than PAL UK and so that thicker booklet is struggling to fit into the case? Maybe next time round you can show it on video so I can see what you mean or perhaps i'll show my version of the game on an upcoming vid.......if my sieve-like memory remembers to do it haha

I still think i overpaid for that Animal Football. haha. You should definitely try Klonoa. the PS2 one is probably the cheapest way to play the series. I think ill be giving loaded a blast this weekend, making this video has made me think about it a lot, the grungey lighting effects in that game were very unique. Ive made a quick video to see if anyone can solve the PD mystery. lol. Mine is the EU version, but thats the only one ive seen, so maybe yours is a rarer version? Ill definately be up for seeing what yours looks like, game that is ;) cheers for watching

Loving your Suikoden 1&2 and rpg still need to complete final fantasy anthology and chronicles and 9 as well plus resident evil 2 3 and gun survivor plus Dino crisis 2 too best of the best I choose

Good PS1 collection, if your into quirky platformers you need to try out Skullmonkeys, its the best platform game on the PS1 in my opinion and the music is so funny :)

Cheers for watching. i do indeed love my platformers of all varieties. Id love to play skull monkeys, its on my to find list! every time i look it keeps getting more expensive though :( Not sure if you have played the first game in the series called neverhood, which was a PC point and click adventure, and they made a third game recently on steam called Armiikrog! both are well worth tracking down!

Another phenomenal collection mate. I'm gonna end up spending loads trying to aquire some of these back. Some of these I def had years ago and absolutely dreading how much they cost now such as Lomax etc! But you've got a really nice mix of genres there Eddie. Love the double cases and especially the cardboard cases. Great stuff pal!

Late replys how have i missed these? you know me im a sucker for the alternative packaging, and the PS1 had a few nice alternatives. Lomax is a must, and is probably worth it i think it was £45 at CEX when i got it last year maybe year before. You have to mix up the genres, shooters are great but get boring after too many straight! PS1 maybe the next burntoutculture gaming route?

So many good games there and some absolute rot which as you know you and I seem to thrive on. A very envious collection indeed and much respect to you for the marvellous condition they are in. I do echo an earlier comment though - get some Point Blank in there 👏 Oh and get them in alphabetical order, my OCD was going off the chart there !!

Oh yes we do love a bit of rot. haha. point blank is sorely missing, mainly because i didnt have a CRT, but now i do, im hoping to run across a big box copy. Im not sure where they will go, but i want one. haha. I was playing point blank at Arcade Club this weekend, so i am really lusting after them, if i dont find them at revival i might resort to the dreaded evil Bay to sourceone. I did notice a lot of my alphabetising mistakes when i was adding the videos. (i was hoping no one noticed) they have been moved around that many times they have slipped places but are roughly right, but some of them have had to be creatively put out of place so i can show the covers off. Thanks for watching, im going to be checking those wii games out on your next video mister!

Cheers! mega late reply from me!! Ive missed out on loadsa Bishi Bashi auctions! i need to do just get it and stop being cheap! Got Rapid Reload now thanks to Dylan! Sonic Wings special is one id love too, and a phoenix games release so scratch's both itches of mine!

Crash team racing is a classic As is doom, remember buying it on release. I played final fantasy 7 and loved it, never played any of the others. Heart of darkness, is awesome. Didn't know IK+ was released on the playstation, another game added to my list. I think I had warhawk in one of those cardboard cases. Artwork on the loaded series done by one of the 2000ad artists. Love street racer, I have it on 4 different systems 😆. Have vagrant story, I totally agree didn't like it at all. Awesome collection mate, a few I still need gotta fill those gaps 😍.

I really loved CTR. I really missed out on that one. I can't wait for the remake. I am currently on a quest to play all the FF to completion. So hopefully I'll get to do 8+9 myself this year or the next. I skipped over heart of darkness didn't I. Whoops bit looks good but one I've not played. Yet. You certainly do need ik+. Plus it's a lot cheaper than the Amiga version. I loved those carboard games. It's such a shame they didn't make more. I didn't realise that about the loaded games. Did they help with the character creation too. Or just promotion images? Im hoping people might join me making these kind of videos. I love seeing what people have. Although I better hide the wine so I don't do any drunken eBay purchasing 😉 Cheers for watching.

Cheers mate, i love RPGs, and its good to know ive actually played most of these. but the PS2 + PS3 ones i have built up are mainly untouched, so ill be looking forward to some advice to see what to tackle next when i do that video!

I think it was about 60, and 2 were white box versions with multiple games. I have a list if you need it? Cheers mate, i try go for games i would actually play, but sometimes other games get included. lol. I played alundra, but not for long, i rally need to go back to it! 👌🏻👌🏻

Hi. Cheers for the great comments. I will probably do a collection video for Saturn last as I've only been picking them up in the last few months and are all included in my pick up videos. I'll be doing a new video tonight which pretty much doubles my Saturn collection. 👍 It's such a great system I can't wait to dive in more. And take advantage of some importing too. Haha. If you like tactical rpgs.. Try legend of kartia.. Think vandal hearts with environment changing spells.. making monsters to help out in battles.. with literal character portraits by Yoshitaka Amano.. Final fantasy's concept/cover artist and two seperate storylines to playthrough :)

Great video mate and great collection! Great ideas with regards to collecting within collecting, collecting sleeved 360 games and now ps1 cardboard cases and double cases, great ideas! Do you have a log of all double cases? I actually have the cardboard case Tekken 1, love the series and have them all, have that collectors edition Tekken 3, it was basically a demo that came with a magazine and you can only be 2 characters, eddy and xiayou, and whatever one you picked you would fight the other and that's it, demo over, cool piece to own! Want that xfiles game sometime, not because it's good or anything, I'm led to believe it aint great, was just a big fan of the show back in the day!

if you can get me your address some how (maybe a PM on instagram) im pretty sure i have a spare copy i can send you. I knew Tekken was a demo but ive never booted it up to see who to play. Xiayou used to be my favorite character. she had a combo you could do endlessly, i used to stick it on practice, and see how long i could last. haha. Im not a full set collector any more, so i set myself these smaller, but equally difficult mini subsets to keep things interesting. my other subset i am striving for is a full Kinect set. Yeah i have a list for the double case PS1 games, i think its 66 in total, but there are a few Australian games that had a double case version. which are very hard to find.

@@rollerxcore that'd be cool, I do have insta, Gurnaldinho plays on there too however Twitter would be better @GurnPlays, very generous of you! I played that demo so much whilst waiting for it to come come out! I know that combo mate but never mastered it! Eddy was a proper button basher when it comes to combos, just mash the lot of them and he'd do something pretty cool lol I'm only going for the full 360 set as I love it so much but beyond that i dont have any plans to full set anything else. I wanna get some systems back in my life I used to own 1st and then collect for them, get what i like and look into some subsets for them, knowing me itll be fighting games as I love them! Both 2d one on ones and side scrollers!

I was really into my combo fighters growing up. my love for them started from Killer instinct with Orchid, but i think hers maxed out at 48. but my old age brain cannot handle anything so complex now. i have been meaning to see if i can remember how to do her combo again, i might give it a blast. one day. I used to love fighters but i am more into story type games these days. Although when i went to Arcade Club the other day i really got into this game called quick and crash, which you need to shoot a certain amount of targets as quick as you can, and i could feel my competitive gamer comping back. i was so addicted to it!

@@rollerxcore I thought insta was for the cool people, I dont use it often so I'll try and fathom it out! If you like combo fighters and killer instinct then theres a vid on here of someone doing a 2000+ combo on the last killer instinct with Hisako! Its mental! I still do but some of the modern ones now days I find quite complex compared to the older ones and I dont enjoy them as much. I wish I had one of those near me, shooting targets quickly, for some reason you've made point blanc pop into my head, loved that game!!!!

Great video and an amazing PS1 collection bro, are you going for a full pal set, the double cases are nice remind me of the mega cd, believe it or not back then I was a Sega Saturn owner so didn’t really get into the ps1. The GT forces looks very interesting. Love alien trilogy on the Saturn I never knew D was on the PS1 😳 Doom was a fantastic console port on PS1. So glad you pulled out Evil Dead, one of my Favourite series of Films and loved hail to the king , I never ever got into Final Fantasy games I played Disc one pretty much of FF7 and The was bored lmao

Mega late reply. god knows why i missed all these! Nah no full set, PS1 isnt even one i was concentrating on, it just kind of happened. I was a saturn kid growing up, but peer pressure from the other kids made me defect to the Playstation, and unfortunately i think thats why the saturn died. PS1 has a lot of great games on it, im still learning of ones now! Ive watched Evil dead so many times from my teenage years and to now! I remember stumbling across Cabin in the Woods when the P2P sites were distributing it, i thought it was the coolest thing ever! Ah i was hooked with that demo disk, i remember thinking it was unlike anything ive played before, and going from CGI to gameplay blew my mind!
