This collection overview is very well done, especially when I discover games I’ve never heard of. Coming from a guy with literally hundreds of ps4 games. Usually this type of content is underwhelming but we have a surprisingly close taste in games, I’m impressed! So nice to see hyperlight drifter get some love, it’s a really personal game for me. I plan on making one of these videos for every system I own. Thus far, I've done the PS4, GameCube, and PS1. Hope all is well with our friends to the north.
I have had the same frustrating experiences with limited run. Since collecting for PS4 I have been really dispoined to see collectors exploited more and more. Companies that I liked to support like Limited Run, Red Art Games, Striuctly Limited just got really greedy and anti-consumer. Such as releasing games one at a time when the retail version is a compilation. Giving no warning that a compilation is coming or a retail release is coming, And re-releasing the exact same PS4 games with no enhancements , no extra content, no bug fixes in a PS5 box. Games are not really limited when you just release another 1000 copies in a different box. Limited run released Metal Slug 3 and then a short time later released the compilation. Retail releases often come out before the limited run version even ships. In no other generation do we get old games in new generation boxes. They never tried to sell PS1 games with no enhancements in PS2 boxes. Way Forward is the absolute worst offender for obscene greed and exploitation with the shantae series. Last time I looked there was 123 shantae products on limited run.
Glad to see we're on the same page. I'm ordering a lot less stuff from these companies because of this. In a way, it feels greedy... but it feels more disorganized and unfocused to me.
I gave up on limited run years ago. I've recived 1 game that came broken and since i'm in Sweden they couldn't help me what so ever. And another game was lost in shipping also got no help. They are frauds in so many ways.
That's horrible! I'm sorry that happened to you. I live about an 8 hour car ride from them... and I still have issues getting me games. I've cut wait back on my orders from them

Your collection is insane buddy awesome stuff. I also loved the Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight game. Fun fact. That is actually the 4th game in the Series :D And there is a new one coming out at somepoint called Momodora: Moonlit Farewell.
I have to say I feel the same way about doom eternal I was happy to just finish it! Didnt like the platforming and I just felt like it was one big horde mode. Definitely prefer 16
I was surprised I didn't see "NeverAwake" released in 2022. I thought you bought all shooters? I guess it was only released physical in Japan. But its on the PSN store and its great.
Great collection, you have most of my games and a lot more! When I had Natsuki Chronicles shipped, I also got Rival Megagun at the same time. Did you order that one? If you didn't get it, you might want to check with them. I am still waiting for the others I ordered.
The very first game I ordered from First Press was the Rival Megagun Collector's Edition! Sadly, it still hasn't shipped and is listed as, "in production." I attempted to cancel the order, but they've just ghosted me. I'm really bummed about it.
Great collection - question about your RNG system - if it comes up to play a sequel to a game, but you haven't played the first do you still play what comes up despite any weird story stuff you'd get playing out of order? looking forward to the next part!
That's a great question! I usually research a little beforehand and see if you need to play the first game before the sequel or if it's stand alone. If you need to play through games in order, I make a note on the backlog spreadsheet telling me so. If the second game gets picked randomly first, I'll leave it in the backlog and play the first game instead. It's one of the strange rules in the whole RNG gaming system
