Its great to hear both point of views, Claude and Gerd! I got teary eyed when I saw Adrienne recording herself using an old cell phone! 🥺 Amazing to have your family there during your labour! 💖 I had a vaginal birth with no meds! I was determined to use no meds! Only downfall to that is peeing myself even after I gave birth. But its all worth it because I got my rainbow baby! 💜
@claudeandco.

That is so special that Jetty’s sweet auntie Adrienne filmed the behind the scenes of her birth telling her how wanted she is and excited everyone is to meet her 😩🤍 she will cherish that footage forever and ever! And Beau is her grandma and Auntie’s carbon copy omg, how can one little girl look so exactly like two people not her parents lol

1st time commenting. I just want to say I appreciate you sharing your experience. My 1st birthing experience is so similar, no epi, long labor, and I delivered via C-section. I tried for a VBAC as well, and had to do another emergency C-section. My sentiments were the same as yours. Then my next 2 babies were planned C-sections. EVERY single pregnancy were great, no problems, went over 40 wks. with the 1st 2 and over 39 wks. with the last 2. I have to remind myself when sadness tries to creep in, that I experienced God's precious gifts regardless of my disappointments and plan, and for that, to remember to be thankful always. God's blessings to you and your gift from God (family)

My Husband and I are Family Planning and this video gave me a bit of relief knowing that not all of our goals are met yet- but we still deserve to start our family. It was sweet to hear about your apartment with Jet and seeing where you guys are now. We were going to buy a house right after our wedding this year but the market is awful and it ALMOST made me postpone having children even more (I am turning 29 in November) but I swear it feels like God has finally told me I am ready now and I am going with it. Life is truly about the journey. Thank you for your content!

Awww I really loved this episode. Thanks for sharing the birth story of your beautiful girls. With us. I'm also a C-section mom so I totally related to how you felt disappointed❤ but looking back I realize it really didn't matter how we brought our babies into the world as long as they're healthy🙏🏼 The story of when Gerd saw Beau for the first time had me dying. Too funny!!! The glow and happiness on Adriennes face made me smile, but also feel a little sad. I hope God will soon make her dream of motherhood a reality🙏🏼 Claude, I honestly feel that you guys are so close that you would be her surrogate❤ Again thanks for sharing your family with us.

Why are we the same person! I’m no gonna lie, it took me so long to get over the my c section, it made me so scared to have a second. But my first having a sister was so important to me. So we tried and I opted for the c section because I didn’t want to be disappointed again. But I’m the end I am so happy to have them in the way I did. Thank you for sharing, the shame and honest disappointment you experience really saps the joy of becoming a mother, because the cultural badge given to moms who are able to do naturally. My second was a much more pleasant experience because I came in with no expectations. Thank you for sharing as I can see that it’s still a source of hesitation for you. It really does help in letting people know that women aren’t weak because they have to have a c-section, but rather are strong enough to prioritize their child’s health over some ideal. Blessing to you all.

I also hate the C-section “shame”, it shouldn’t exist, I think if a mother loves that child, nurture that child, and is there for that child no matter what, that’s a mother, it really doesn’t matter, we have amazing, loving adopted mothers who LOVE their children, and those are the mothers, it doesn’t really matter how, and I hope this “shame” gets lost in the years, but a mother are those who love and stays, birth, C-section,surrogate, adopted. I am so glad you shared that because I would not tolerate (sound very mean, swear is not) seeing a woman walking around thinking that they are less of a woman or a mother, because of how they got their kid. Much love, learning a lot here. Grateful ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing your journey! I relate so much to your birth story. I had my first baby by C-section and felt as if I missed out on something or that I was somehow not as strong as the Moms who had vaginal births. I tried 3 more times to have a VBAC. I labored with no epidural for hours b/c each time I was determined to have that “traditional” experience and each time it didn’t go the way I planned. I am so thankful for all of my babies and that they were born healthy and strong and that I survived with no complications. Despite that it took a while to get to a place where I accepted that even though I didn’t get the traditional experience I should still be proud of my birth experience. I am a warrior Mom just like any Mom who labors and delivers vaginally (not sure if that’s a word😂) and just like any Mom who adopts or uses a surrogate. We are all amazing!

Hi Claudette and Gerd, I faithfully tune into your channel. You guys are awesome and I just love how close you are to your family and how you two are raising your girls. Claudette, you are my best friend in my head lol. You just seem like a calm, understanding person. (I really hope this message does not come across as weird lol) okay byeee 😆

I had to grieve when I "felt robbed" of my natural birth with my first child. Similar to your story, I was 10 centimeters dilated and found out she was breeched. Emergency csection it was! I had two successful Csections since then.

As a first time expectant mother who always wanted to do a holistic natural birth at a birth center at home but can’t due to having diabetes, I really resonated with your message of our babies coming the way they’re intended to. Thank you for sharing your personal experiences. This video felt so timely as I anxiously anticipate for labor soon. I also, love how Adrienne was a natural vlogger even then lol

Thank you for sharing 🥹 I love the idea of birth one day and am encouraged by your family’s positivity. My fiancé and I marry this November and have been doing things traditionally so encouraging couples like ya is everything. Loved this topic 🤍 would love a video about your knowledge on breastfeeding!

Thank you much for sharing! I experienced a very similar labor and delivery with my first. I can so relate to what you shared and it took a long time for me to heal from it all, but God used it to encourage other women in my life, as your story encouraged me too. ❤️

OMG! You are Superwoman for laboring, then pushing for 4 hours and then going through a surgery-twice! Your children will rise and call you blessed. I have beautiful birth stories of my 2 children as well and all of their life on their birthdays, I tell them their birth story. They are still fascinated by this and my oldest daughter Tyler (I wanted the unisex name as well) is 22.

I always wished I went the birth center/ midwife route. But my daughter Nala came out after 30 hours of being induced. But healthy babies is all we asked for and they all are. God is good

**Gentle constructive feedback towards the end** Awww, such beautiful birth stories! 🤍 I’m so happy you came to the realization that any way you birth your babies is a miracle! I KINDLY noticed one area of improvement in the way you share your genuinely intriguing stories. You begin a few different sentences sometimes and forget to end them before moving on 😋 It’s really cute because I know you’re so excited and there’s many thoughts in your head at once, but it’s a little bit stressful following along to the stories sometimes when I feel like I didn’t fully finish painting the picture in my head about your first statement cause we’re already moving along to the next. I hope you take this as gentle constructive feedback because that’s all it is 🤍 Love you Claude! 🤍 I’m excited for more of your content 😍 As usual ❤️

Thanks so much. We get it. It’s hard because we aren’t scripted. It’s all organic and therefore imperfect. Pls stick with us. It’ll all come out eventually!
