My Private Island In The Philippines! In this Philippines travel vlog I visit a private island known as Santa Cruz island located off the coast of Zamboanga, Philippines. I have a wonderful time and it really feel like i had my own private island here in the Philippines. This island is a lot more enjoyable than El Nido and Boracay simply for the fact that it not as touristy. This was my experience of having a private island in the Philippines.

Who am I?
A man from the USA trying to discover the world one place at a time, while sharing the experiences through my lens. I like traveling to places that are usually not first on most people’s itinerary and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. I want to experience all the countries I visit as a member of the society but at the same time learn about the culture, food and beautiful people. Growth is not achievable without leaving your comfort zone, so just do it!

Amazing place. Quiet see, calm weather, no noise…. There are some areas where my government refrains to visit. The west part of Mindanao is the one of those places. I hope the situation changes soon so that I can travel. Thanks a lot from Japan

I was born in Zamboanga and my Mom had to move us to Luzon. During the 70's, I remember i was young there were checkpoints on every corner but now it's a totally different place. It's nice to see some changes in many places in our country. That's a beautiful island.

16:25 wow you have the whole island. We are supposed to go there before going back to Canada unfortunately the local Tourism had cancelled our trip due to weather condition. Will definitely go there and onse islas next yr. Thanks for sharing your wonderful expirences in ZC.

Watched this yesterday. Glad you were able to go to the pink sand beach Myer. And yeah, it's actually being promoted by DOT. If you watch their 'Wake Up in the Philippines' (17 mins. long), you'll see it there. Did you know too that the Philippines actually won World's Leading Beach and Dive Destination in 2022 at the World Travel Awards? I've also heard several foreign vloggers say that the waters here seem bluer than in other Asian countries. Even our inland bodies of water (like Kawasan, Cambugahay, etc) are turquoise colored. :)

@@myertravels They have actually done that before. It was when the pandemic restrictions was starting to ease up and our tourism was starting to open up again. They asked several foreign vloggers (who are here or who has vlogged here) to create a video solely to invite tourists to come on behalf of DOT. (The DOT logo and other images were even shown in the vlogs.) I just don't know how much the vloggers got paid for it, or what kind of remuneration they got.

If the locals told you about flooding the island when its high tide... it isn't true. I'm from zamboanga. They said it because the boats dont want to extend service.

That soy sauce actually you’ll make sauce pour little bit and vinegar and just put chilli 🌶️ on it and squeeze limes on it then you eat that with rice 🍚
