In honor of National Pumpkin Day, we are taking a trip down memory lane and revisiting every pumpkin candle from Bath & Body Works from 2012 to 2020. Check it out! Instagram: @thecandlechannel #BathandBodyWorks #WhiteBarn
I was able to get Pumpkin Vanilla Crème this year! I’ve never been able to get pumpkin pie... I bought 3 PVC’s and went through a whole one within a few days and the scent was still just as strong and just as lovely as the day I bought it. Must’ve had a really good batch! Pumpkin Bonfire is my second favourite for sure 😊
yes, immediately after I got a PVC, I ordered another one. I went looking in the stores on 2 occasions and the 2 stores I went to had none left. I too love Pumpkin bonfire!
Kent! Happy National Pumpkin Day! 🤣🎃👍 Happiness abounds!! Your enthusiasm is so infectious. 🥰😘 I completely agree that Pumpkin Pie smells so scrumptious but the one I had last year smoked and sooted so badly that I gave up and put it on a warmer. I loved this video, please do more collections! ❤️😘
2017 was for sure the bizzaro/ experimental year for BBW. I worked there until May of that year and remember the word efficacy. I actually miss that holiday and all the weird products and collections, but luckily mid 2018 they got back on course.
I love pumpkin bonfire! I’m so glad that I grabbed it when I did. Hope they bring it back next year! Thanks for sharing and Happy Pumpkin Day everyone!
That was a nice walk down memory lane . I am burning Pumpkin Clove tonight (1st version ) and loving it ! Almost done with the fall candles for this year and on to winter , Thanks for the great video !
Glad you are back and posting a lot of videos! Love your enthusiasm and the way you describe the scents you like and don’t like! My favorite is Pumpkin Pecan Waffle 🎃
I know... I literally just gave away about 40 candles at my daughter's shower as gifts... I gave away about 30 candles to a man who cleaned our carpet who has daughters... I have some that I'm going to use for exchanges when there's a candle I like... And I still have a boatload of organized candles kept in there Bath & Body Work containers in a cabinet filled with candles... Especially ones I'm concerned will not come back... I light a couple candles a night... We really really enjoy them
Berry Pumpkin Strudel is my favorite fall candle ever and I wish so bad they would bring it back. I have loved Pumpkin Peanut Brittle, Pumpkin Vanilla Creme and Dutch Apple Waffle this year. Thanks for trip down pumpkin memory lane!!
Happy Pumpkin Day and sure is a happy day to see another post/review from you!! Wished BBW would resurrect some of those loved old scents such as Cranberry Pumpkin, Pumpkin French Toast, & Pumpkin Banana Muffin! Thanks Kent - you certainly know your BBW business!!
I loooove blueberry pumpkin patch. I actually never had the candle, but wax vendors pour that oil sometimes. I just got two bags of melts this year sooooo goooood. I think my pumpkin faves over the years were pumpkin patch, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin bonfire. Great video! Thanks! 🎃
This was SO great Kent! A lot of us are collectors or should we not say that lol! Does BBW even do “real” Pumpkin fragrances😂😂 I was definitely taken down memory lane!! Love you’re uploading more!
My favorites are pumpkin vanilla creme and pumpkin bonfire it's feb 1st 24 and I am yearning for fall! Spring is kind of a snooze fest for me but I do pick a few things up I'm looking at the new honeysuckle candle but today I kind of went through my fall candles I'm burning marshmallow fireside right now and just going through your videos I love them!
Omg I love pumpkin french toast !!! I held on mines for the longest 😫😫 Anyways I’m patiently waiting for the day you launch a candle line I’m going to be all over it lol
I thought Pumpkin Vanilla Creme would be gross. On cold it was really giving me something funky that I couldn’t put my finger on. Maybe a raw feeling spice blend and graham cracker dust, like from the bottom of the bag..? On your recommendation I gave it a chance anyway, especially because I love colored glass jars and this years glossy orange is so pretty! Anyway, it IS fabulous! Warm and heavenly, not dusty at all! Oh, I love it! I am so glad the cold smell didn’t put me off, and it would have if I didn’t recall your review because I think we have similar scent preferences. Thank you Kent! Happy to see you back! Now watching this vid to explore more PUMPKIN!
their pumpkin pie is the best most authentic pumpkin pie scent from anywhere ever I've smelled. it ticks all the boxes. also love pumpkin bonfire, and currently have it in my burning rotation. regarding PPW: I had this year's in a WB branded matt jar and it was slightly light for PPW. I currently have it burning in the fall bakery collection and it is like I remember it and much stronger than the WB labeled 2020 version. such a great stroll down memory lane. thanks so much. as an aside: does anyone remember which year it was that they must have hired members of a brothel to do their label designs? all those innuendo labels? was it 2018? thanks in advance.
That was the OG First release of Pumpkin Spiced Cheesecake 2015. I went CRAZY that year on those candles and I still have quite a few left. HANDS DOWN my FAVORITE FALL for candles 2015!! First release of Pumpkin Cononut too,, one of my FAVES THAT YEAR!! We saw Cranberry Pumpkin, Pumpkin sugar cookie, Brown sugar allspice, Golden cinnamon, Radient Red Maple!! Omg STILL some of my ALLTIME FAVES to this day!! I only have 1 APPLE PUMPKIN PANCAKES 3-wick left but I did turn my last 2 4-ouncers into wax melts so that really Gave me a Few years of enjoying the fragrance here and there. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND if u love a candle and only have 1-2 left turn it into wax melts. I had 2 Radient Red Maples left, turned 1 into melts and I’ve been enjoying melting it last fall and this fall and STILL have half the jar left!! I LOVE these videos you’ve been making. Tfs
As I’m sitting here debating if I should burn my Pumpkin Vanilla Creme to the end, I had to research to see if this is a returning fragrance. I’m no huge fan of pumpkin anything lol! I’ve seen Pumpkin Pie in the past but never attempt to smell or purchase because I knew I would not like it, but on my way out the store one day I smelled PVC and oh my lord! I love it! This video gave me exactly what I was looking for, I agree, had I known PVC is the same as PP I would have purchased some PP since I only picked up one PVC. Thank you sooo much for this video. I still feel like I need to stop burning my PVC and hope it returns next year.
PVC/PP is amazing! I found one a week or two ago and snagged it and have been burning it regularly. Hopefully can you find some during SAS or something. I'm finding the larger White Barn stores still have a sizable fall selection.
I know this video is old, but B&BW plans everything about a year in advance. Meaning the "Benefits" and "Quotable" lines were being developed before the management change happened!
Oh my gosh! I'm watching this Pumpkin Candle Collection video on Aug 6th, 2021 and you just described the Pumpkin Cupcake candle (2017 I think) as corn chips & jalapenos. These are the exact notes that I smell & describe in this years (2021) Pumpkin Vanilla Creme! I aired the candle out & changed the lid, but it STILL smells like corn chips & jalalpenos! Absolutely bizarre! Your review made me wonder if this years Pumpkin Vanilla Creme is a repackage (or a partial) of the 2017 Pumpkin Cupcake. What do you think? The BBW reviews are filled with these strange, off-putting notes of 2021 Pumpkin Vanilla Creme candle. Your thoughts? Happy Weekend!
As I've only discovered BBW candles about a year ago, this Fall was the first time I bought entire collections of Fall candles. What a treat unboxing those candles! My favorite so far is Pumpkin Vanilla Creme. Next time I plan to get a few. I was wondering... What is your single most favorite BBW candle? If you could only have one. LOL Which one would it be?
Oh dear, lol. I'm not sure I necessarily recommended HomeWorx candles in my latest hauls and reviews. If you watched the entire video, I stated that they were previously excellent but have been very spotty ever since they switched their production to Vietnam. In my Sugared Beignets review, I said that the throw was extremely light and that it was nowhere near as strong as the original one. My Banana Maple Pancakes is still very light. The Hot Cider Donut is acceptable, but the Snow Tipped Pine on the other hand, is strong and excellent. I just don't want you getting the wrong impression and become disappointed that I had "recommended" the candles if they end up being less-than-stellar. But I do hope in your case that they do end up working out well :)
I just got & burned my pumpkin pecan waffle candle & it smelled amazing cold & while burning... Until hour 3 of burning it just smelled like BURNT waffles. super disappointing going to exchange & hope for the best
