Dbrunski! I have an idea that would finally put a use to the "Standard of Heros". 3 x Standards + Sunder Charm in the Horodric cube = Rerolled Sunder. They could be killing a few birds with this one stone. 1. A use for the standard. 2. Promote group playthroughs of ubers (more players in game more standards drop) 3. Provides another tradeable item of value to the market. 4. Extra value in Keys and doing torch runs (at least you retain some value if you happen to roll a bad torch) I'm sure there's a few other benefits that others could think of as well. Please try and push something like this with the Devs! I think it should be fairly easy for them to implement and would be met with positive community feedback.

100% agree that adding more mediocre runewords will make the problem worse. Enhancing the high level uniques with very thoughtful and useful buffs would be an excellent patch and add lots to the game.

Buffing up uniques is way overdue! Imagine if Tyraels Might would get +1 teleport, +20% DR and +20% IAS. Then it would be an actual competitor to Enigma. And they should really scale up the damage on physical weapons (bows, axes, swords etc etc) which should've been done in 1.10. If base weapon damage is scaled up 1) casters no longer rule the game and 2) grief is no longer the go-to weapon (since grief adds static +damage which doesn't scale off base weapon damage, but other RWs that work on +%ED will scale off base weapon damage). It wouldn't even really hurt the pvp meta since that is dominated by casters as well.

DB, I tend to see a theme within the community asking for almost all the same changes (loot filter, stackables, more stash tabs); in your opinion do you think quality of life changes like this should be at the top of the priority list for d2 devs or do you think that’s more of what we might want but not what we truly need to keep this game going and retaining/growing players? What are your thoughts?

I'd like to see items like the grandfather/doombringer (indestructible items) swap over to like rep 20 seconds - so that Items cans be eth. Also, splash damage would boost up melee and change the gameplay a lot vs just casters everywhere.

What if instead of just flat buffing the ultra rare unique they made it so you could cube up some of your items like tyrael's might to be a bit more useful, and maybe the properties don't need to be static and you could maybe even re-roll them or something, that's just what I was thinking but maybe it could cause other issues.

I would like to be able to reroll bases/uniqs/runewords/rares like magic items can be rerolled Also, being able to gamble all class specific items. Concentrate changed to have a "cleave" effect, being able to hit multiple enemies infront of you, this would make gf/mf barb and perhaps other barb builds more interesting to play Vengeance a chance to cast on hit firestorm/nova/frost nova, this would make the build more interesting and fun to play Also the ability to.make things ethereal would be nice Also, the ability to select how many sockets larzuk can put into an item. This would make obtaining certain bases less of a headache

D2R was everything the hardcore nostalgic D2 players wanted. They’re not catering at all to the casual base that represents 95% of players in the most popular and most played games across any genre. Hardcore D2 purists want meaningful updates and changes but that doesn’t happen if they’d be the first to bash the franchise for not preserving it’s D2 roots. Blizzard isn’t going to spend the time, money and effort to create new experiences and have “hardcore” updates to a game for the remaining base of players in D2R. D2R is exactly what these D2 purists wanted, the same game for the most part with updated graphics. They don’t want innovation or growth. Blizzard gave that to them and now just like any game you get bored playing, they want “changes”. Can’t win with these players 😂

The problem with “shifting the meta” is that the meta doesn’t matter…. Once I can roll through almost anywhere in hell there’s not much else to the game. I don’t see the reason of spending 1,000 hours hunting gear just so I can kill enemies slightly faster

All uniques have 2 sockets and retroactively works with uniques that’s dropped prepatch. Make gloves boots belt have 1 socket with same effect as body armor. Make MAL RUNE have 7% magic damage reduction. All set items have max sockets lol and retroactively works with items dropped prepatch Make o8 valor and o8 shako change (with 2 soc change too)

She'll definitely take it! 😅 - Even if it rolled 9/9/9, thats effectively a +8 all skills item, with 30%FCR and 10%Mgen on a massive mana pool, that you should have by lvl82. 🤣 Giving yourself one with an editor; you'll never get it. Ormus, Chromatic Ire, Mang Song's Lesson, etc.. drop naturally for Sorcs *effectively* using an all schools strat. Which have no need for Sunder charms. Its honestly not that hard to work out which spells chain together from all 3 schools - you only need to drop 5 hard pts in each mastery to put yourself on the Chromatic Sorceress path.

to fix Some problems... Uniques should drop with 150% more damage/ Defense. Class specific Uniques should roll with +1 skill. I.E Eschutas should roll with 1-4 +Skills. Runewords could be given a recipe so you try and reroll and affix with a cube recipe instead of just hel'ing it. 1 time use. I.E. Grief rolls 356 Damage, you try and roll it higher.

A 3 Socket Shield runeword that has +3 all skills and grants +1 Holy Shield. Would make shields other than 4 OS Monarch valuable in the late game. Would have to have at least an Um and in the runeword i think (for all res). Ber Eld Um??

whats your opinion on the early and midgame? you only ever talk about lategame builds with maxed out gear. i think playing through normal and nightmare is fun too, and more builds are viable at lower levels.

Mosiac should be an helm and 100%... or both helm and chest plate (with different stats). While being super expensive, it would make/break endgame P8 MA sins. MA can work with high end gear in P3 or super clunky in P5 (perhaps using stormshield for toughness or Pheonix for damage). Anyways.. They should either sell tabs for storage or a currency tab like you said. At this point, Idc which (but I prefer stash tabs.. personally)

d2r NEEDS currency tab with stackable currencies, loot filter, splash for melee no questions asked. They need to stop being afraid to really actually shake things up as you mentioned. The handful of gate-keeping morons that wont welcome these changes can play something else or play normal d2 because this game is just spinning its wheels with interest if they dont actually add some things with substance.

You're into pvp now? Nice! Windys are def the new Hdins tho. In D2 I think pvp is what will keep it relevant and interesting over time. Singleplayer is so limited, but pvp is more dynamic content. It would be so easy for Blizzard to make some solid gear changes if they invited some of you top content creators over for a weekend/week of spit-balling and testing

While the D2 druid was lacking in D2R my favorite is deadly with summons. Unlike Golems and skeles the druid numerous types of minions inflict serious damage. Even though the Necro is my second favorite character I cannot legit compete against a summon druid build.

I need melee weapons re-balancing, and a Charm inventory to make me return. FUcking charms frustrate me so much I can't stand how they implemented them in LOD. I'd prefer vengeance being buffed then conversion and two hander paladin could come from that, just give it some short range splash damage and buff two handed weapons it will be plenty viable.

You seem to advocate a lot for buffs and "meta shift" (which implies power creep). Do you think there is anything that should be nerfed, or things added/changed to increase the difficulty of the game?

Wouldn't necessarily call it power creep. I'm not advocating for blizzard sorcs, or nova sorcs, or hdins to be better. Just really trying to lean into some of the horrible builds that people never play and advocate for them to be improved to the point where people atleast might play them. I.e fire golem mage necro build, phoenix strike assassin etc. It's not moving the goal post of total power. More adjusting the f d and c tiers up a bit

Charge me $25, add three wps to a4 with some long, hard quests that provide something that people want for completing. Currency tab for norm, loot filter for nm, maphack do hell. Make it so you have to have all 7 char classes in a party to complete it. That’s not really a question but I’d like more high end content and I’d also like maps, etc.

I think the class that makes it to 99 1st each Ladder Season, should be banned for the 1st half of the following Ladder. So you don't see Sorc hittin 99 every ladder.
