@@kailashs4521 He actually does have a point though. Look at older earlier 00s F1 footage for instance. Same FOV but looks much faster. here the FOV isn't even that much more though but it does help.
Thats so sick! I actually love the fact that you're allowed to post all these clips to your personal channel. Guess F1 doesn't allow that to happen or something.
@@morpheusbeats6493 ummm how is he doing so? He was stating a fact I’m 99% sure that f1 in fact doesn’t let the drivers post personal clips due to some sort of cheating policy or something all he’s doing is stating a fact I love f1 but im 99% sure it is true that they cannot
Romain, I wish you all the best, I can't deny I'm missing you in F1. But you've provoked an interest in Indycar with all these personal videos that F1 just wouldn't allow. I hope to see you on the top step, because you deserved to be on it in F1.
Romain did good for like 3 years of his career, most definitely NOT F1 material. If he ever want's to make it back to F1 he'll have to make a huge impact in IndyCar.
@@GigaFloyd Romain was putting in results from 2012 to 2018, including his 10 podiums, 2018 started shit but he turned that season around with his 37 points from Round 9, Austria. Then 2019 onwards, Haas let both him and Kevin down with constant issues. They still had occasional performances both of them. More or less all their points. But Haas have been sharply downward since 2018, continuing since dropping both drivers in favour of (needed) money. So you can't even put that on the drivers. 2019 and 2020 are the team as a whole.
On of the more physical tracks on the calendar. Especially in the Florida weather last week. Awesome drive in only his second race. Definitely showing his world class caliber FINALLY! We always knew Romain had it in him, those Lotus an early HAAS days were so hopeful. Nice to finally see him in quality equipment w/good chances of snatching a win.
My heart sank as you posted a really quick time, then I watched your name just drop out of final qualifying. In the race you did so well to keep it together after those touches against the wall. A really strong finish, all considered, in only your second race in a new series. You'll do just fine.
Well Monsieur Grossjean you've done two things for me in the last calendar year. First you scared the shit out of me and millions of others in Bahrain (I woke up my entire household by screaming HOLY SHIT - F1 races come on early in the morning in Canada) and now because you're involved in it I watched a full Indy Car race for the first time in decades on Sunday (actually I found a replay of the race on Monday) and quite enjoyed it.
For some reason, after Romain joined indycar i suddenly became to be Romain fan. I dont even follow indy but still kinda cool and sad growing story of nice race car driver. respect to Romain.
Watched it last night. Couldn't believe how blistered herta hands were after. Im guessing yours were the same, Brutal! Your doing an awesome Job Romain
Serious respect Romain. I heard that race was hell for the hands of the drivers and couldnt imagine how it must have been amplified for you. Love your spirit! 🖤💙 cant wait to see you in Monterey!
After being a fan of yours for years in F1 it was so great to see you racing in person!! We are so happy you are still racing and know that you will be getting podiums again before too long! Can't wait to come to another one of your races soon!
It was great to see you race in person love this track really fast always changing. Welcome to the US. And hope you come back to the St Pete Tampa area!
That last double apex was on point; a lot of confidence in the rear of the car during rotation throughout the whole lap as well! Miss ya in F1, congrats on the pole position!
@@anthonymolina7416 Well IndyCars are technically more stable then F1, sort of. IndyCar focuses more on mechanical grip and ground effect compared to F1's high downforce aerodynamics. This makes IndyCars more stable at lower speeds where F1 is more stable at high speeds.
This coarse looks so fun to drive but extremely hard to be fast ....i love that Indy car doesn't give a rats ass if you post your footage from practice or qualifying
Loved seeing you climb positions last weekend! Sad the commentators spent more time talking about Jimmy not being able to stay on track. You had a great race!
Fantastic to see limited fans back at IndyCar races! Can't wait until there are no limits on attendance. Great job Romain. That will be as tough as it gets physically in the car. How are your hands after that tough race?
I really love this on board camera compared to F1 cameras !! I found it to be very immersive. I almost felt unwell on certain turns as if it's me sitting there 😄
This was my first Indy race ever. I was clinging to a fence somewhere during this video. We were routing for Romain the whole way, wish we could have gotten to meet him. Maybe next time.
The F1 cars would be 10% faster, but I would love to see them on these Indy circuits just because I want to see if/how the drivers and engineers complain about all of the bumps. Purpose built F1 circuits are like billiard tables in comparison.
Americans can't make original names, just like Memphis (Egypt), Boston (UK) ,Belfort (France) ,Orleans (France) balbec (Lebanon), 10x Amsterdam (Holland) etc etc etc.
