That's so much scarier to me, lol. When I bought my house, I had trouble sleeping because the door to the attic's stairs are in my bedroom and I was terrified that someone could be living there. Then after I finally started feeling safe, I found a secret room in the basement. There was nothing and no one in there, thank goodness, but it still gave me trouble sleeping at night for like a week afterwards. The actual scary part was the realization that, even though no one was, someone COULD have been living in my house and have a whole little creepy secret "studio apartment" and I wouldn't have found it for months and months.
Seriously. This one reeks of a creeper that is breaking into their home. It would probably be good for the parent to spend a few nights in the room or maybe camp out the door and listen in. If this is true (which i want to add that im rather skeptical,) I'm legitimately scared for that child and worried how the parent is more concerned about there being some imaginary demon instead of the real threat of a person. Though i have known religious nutjobs that WOULD think demon first. Like I could see them doing that to help ease their fears, but they should have been doing something to rule out actual, real, people.
The story with the autistic child- I’m a late-diagnosed autistic person, and when I was that age, I loved Mulan and the song reflection for the exact same reasons. I’m also white. I think that when many people become adults, they honestly can't remember what it's like to be a child. But there are some who still remember. @@zephyrshadow7816 Usually because people assume if they have a person sneaking into their home they think that a) they'd not be able to get back out fast enough so they'd get caught b) many homes bedrooms are on the 2nd level the home so getting there you'd expect them unable to escape safely (breaking something jumping from that height esp would be very easy) and c) rational people tend to go for "ghost" or demon because they don't feel like they have control? and this is sort of a comfort that it's something they couldn't stop but also didn't specifically fail to prevent it because of that there are other possible reasons why someone goes "demon" first but like really what they should do is check for carbon monoxide it's hella more likely than spirits lol

My Daughters Fave princess is Rapunzle. She has a fascination with long hair. We are black. Her super curly hair is to her butt now at 6 yo so she can be like Rapunzle. My favorite is also Rapunzel, I've had long hair for most of my life but I think it all started with Repunzel. It's more of a cultural thing for women to have long hair but my mom didn't care about that and actually tried to convince me a few times to chop it off because of the maintenance lol. However since I was dead set in having super long hair she switched camps and would often come up to me "When are you going to shower?" In like an hour, why? "I'm going to put this [inset random hair healing product] in your hair, it's supposed to be left in for 40 minutes." Super supportive and would look for hair nourishing stuff for us to try together. For the ghost story: When I was a kid, probably 15 or so, I was in my room which was in the basement. I shared it with my sister, and we had our own beds, almost in a T shape. Her head at my feet. One night I woke up and saw someone sitting in the chair in the corner of the room, not moving, and the only light was from the moon coming km through the windows. I couldn't see them, just the shape. Almost like they were a shadow. I assumed it was my sister, I said "julie?", kindav irritated and sleepy. "What are you doing?". The figure stood up slowly, and started paying back and forth infront of the chair, I still couldn't see aby features in the light, just the shape. I said "what the hell are you doing!? Go to bed!". The figure stopped and faced towards me. I reached above my, turned on my light, and when I looked back, no one was standing there. The only people on the room was my sister and I. And she was sleeping screamed and jumped onto my sisters bed, woke her up, and told her what had just happened. Needless to say, I shared he rbed that night. But I'll never forget that...not as long as I live.

For the ghost story one. I have seen a ghost. My brother and I used to share a room in my parents house when we were younger. One night I had woken up to see a woman floating above my brothers bed. She had long black hair and a white dress on. I was frozen in fear. She was starring down at my brother, then she turned around and noticed me watching her. She then disappeared. The next day I brought it up to my mother. She didn’t believe me. I was like 12 at the time so she accounted it to a wild imagination. Even I had believe I had seen things. That was until a few days later when he asked my mother about the floating lady in the white dress. Still to this day I notice things around my parents house that make me think back to that night.

Pushing childcare onto someone without consulting them is fucked up. When I was born both my parents worked. My mom got childcare from anyone she could (cousins, her friends mom, etc) and she paid them! A little after my brother was born she decided to be a SAHM. All of a sudden she was everyone's childcare go-to. She was taking care of me, my brother, my cousin, & two of her friends kids. And no one paid her squat. The only time my grandparents watched us was when my parents were going out of town. If you have kids do not expect other people to take care of YOUR children. And if they do, compensate them!!
My first in the theater movie was Pocahontas. Keep in mind I was 2ish, I stood on my seat and when I saw her yelled “MOCHAHONTAS!!!! MOCHAHONTAS!!!!” I’m whiter than sour cream, and she’s still my favorite “Disney princess” even after learning her real story much older. for story one... yeah my dad is white and my mom is brown. my mom is very liberal and my dad is the opposite. theyre even the opposite with religion. my dad doesnt exactly understand racism and my mom experiences it every day (she use to get beat up by random white men all the time, women of her race where i live it is very common). Paranormal experiences!! I've had a few . And it doesn't help that 420 green heightens your senses I came home from the hospital, I messed up my foot and everyone at home was just ruining my mood by being rude or just not helpful at all when I needed help with my dog. I couldn't walk, I was using crutches and he's a big dog (a pitbull if anyone got curious) I used a chair to drag myself across the room to the back door to take him outside and I started to smoke to calm myself down . I was really hurting from everyone acting rudely with me , especially because I really needed their help. Well Hades, my dog, looked across to the other side of the apts and started growling . I was thinking someone was passing through so I turned on my flashlight and didn't see anyone. Brushed it off thinking it was a cat or possum. Then he goes crazy. Barking, growling, whining, looking at me and the door and going back and forth basically telling me, "we needed to get inside ASAP" . I opened the door , let him run in before me, since I had a chair and started to drag myself with it inside . As soon as I turned to close the door, I saw a black shadow, running on all fours and coming at me. It was my height on all fours. I'm 5'3. I saw red eyes and horns as well. I slammed the door. Locked it, unhooked my dog and immediately lit my incense sticks . For a few nights after I was getting sick, having night terrors, and getting agitated and aggressive towards everyone at home . I told my friend about the situation and she told her mom. And I was invited over to stay the night and get a cleanse, an eggs-orcism if you will, also known as "huevo limpia" . First cleanse was almost painful tbh, I had a nasty headache and I felt like I was going to throw up. As soon as we cracked the egg into water, we saw cobwebs, the yolk was cooking immediately on its own , and a jellyfish formed in the water . I stayed the night for another cleanse the next morning and sure enough it was gone after . We're happy it wasn't black or red , signs of which craft, and that we caught it before it got worse

For the story about the paranormal- when I was really young like five me and my stepdad and my mom moved into this place that used to be a church I sit down in a very old chair and I close my eyes and I see a woman with gray white hair sit down in that chair and die. Recently I went back to see him and his new wife. She was our neighbor at the time she lived there before we did, and she said that the woman I described are used to live in that house. They had to carry her out because she had a heart attack in the chair.
So I used to live in this house that was three floors but had been divided into apartments. The first floor apartment was occupied. The two apartments on the second floor were vacant and my partner, 2 kids (m2 and f 3 months old) and myself. The house was built by the first town doctor in the 1800's and he used it for his practice and basically what we would consider hospice now days. The first night there I was singing the ABC's to my 3 month old at late at night (it was her favorite lullaby). I heard a little kids voice start singing along. I assumed it was my two year old so I looked over to smile at him but he was just looking at me with his mouth closed while I could still here the little voice singing with me. A couple of weeks later my brother in law came over to visit and stay for a couple of days. The next morning he asked if the apartment was haunted because he had gotten up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. He was in there and a train passed by (the tracks are only a block away so very easy to hear) and from the corner of the bathroom by the window he heard a little voice excitedly say "choo choo train". He was extremely annoyed that we hadn't bothered to tell him that we had had previous experiences there. I know this isn't spooky or scary and you don't have to believe me but that was one experience I've had with the paranormal.

The grandmother story reminds me of my own. My grandmother took care of me and my brother during the day since mom was a teacher and dad was a mechanic. I had one paranormal experience when I was 15... Me and my friends were curious about spooky stuff so we bought a Ouja board and played outside since we didnt want my house haunted just in case yk? Nothing happened so we were quite dissapointed. A week later stupid us played in my room...and it actually moved a little. I thought tho it mightve been a friend of mine playing a prank so we just started laughing and joking about how weak that ghost/demon is. After that I kept the Ouija board untouched in a plastic bag in a shelf and secured the little thing so it doesnt touch the board. After that I kept waking up at 3am. EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. It was very annoying since I had school. More and more weird and creepy things started happening. One night I woke up at 3am again with a loud bang, but I was too tired and fell back asleep even tho it scared the shit out of me. Im the morning I saw the Ouija board bag on the floor, and the little planchette outside of the bag. The bag couldnt have fallen on its own. It looked like it was pulled. Since then I got an eerie feeling everytime I go into that corner of my room. Always got goosebumps. Another night my painting from above my bed fell on my head, waking me up. It was a huge painting aswell. Its been hanging there for months and it never fell.I checked the time. 3am again. At this point it really freaked me out. We had a 3 Story house so there was an attic with bedrooms. When I was alone at home I could hear human-like footsteps walking around. My cat would also always join me in my room with fluffed up tail and never stopped staring into the hallway. It rlly creeped me out. My cat would hiss if I touched him or tried to put him outside of my room. The worst night was when I actually had a sleep paralasis. I woke up but couldnt move. I always slept with an open door so that door slammed shut loudly and I was fkin scared at that point and in the morning the door...was closed. My family didnt noticed or heard anything. And also didnt believe me. At that point I told my boyfriend to burm the Ouija for me and after that nothing ever happened again. That feeling of dread in my room was also gone. Never messing with spiritual things ever again. My husband knows a lot of stuff about that and said I might have invited a Poltergeist into my home back then, reason why my cat was so scared aswell. 😂😂😂 Now Im just always weary about thosw things and actually terrified of experiencing smth like that again. Im also very jumpy and sometimes get paranoia and my husband has to comfort me.

My mother lived in a haunted house and it was absolutely horrible my 3 oldest siblings have horrifying stories and my brother the 2 oldest can't even talk about it and had his first mental breakdown because of it( he was maybe 8). They have crazy stories of banging on walls and voices, things moving, lights turning on and off and apparitions. They hired a babysitter and she called them crying because there was banging everywhere all at once and wouldn't stop. It didn't stop till they got there they where maybe 15 minutes away. Traumatized her. She refused to ever go back there. Personally ghost are very real. Not all situations conclude to ghost/spirits/ demons but that one sounds pretty ghostish and if not ghosts at least i believe someone is going up to her daughter at night and that is just as scary 😬

When I was a teenager my whole family experienced a haunting. My brother made a oujia board and was into satanic stuff. He brought it into the house and all of us (separately without telling or sharing with each other) started seeing a specific "shadow creature" (that's what I called it) and experiencing typical haunting events. It wasn't until my parents heard things from all of us did they realize that we were all seeing and experiencing the same things( them included). It took my parents praying over the whole house room by room and washing/cleansing my brothers room for it to stop. The thing or other spirits/demons never left my brother alone but the active hauntings and sightings stopped in the house after that. It wasn't the first nor the last time I've had experiences with the paranormal. Some believe and some don't, and that's perfectly fine. Sometimes it takes a peraonal experience to believe in the unknown. There is so much we don't know about in this world and it's foolish to think we know everything. There's always something new to learn.

Not a game show but I have a good strategy for Clue, in fact no one will play it with me anymore because I always win. When you get your cards, choose one of each kind and never show those three cards to anyone else. Then you go to the nearest room that you have the card for, make this the room card that you don't show anyone. Using your guesses figure out who did it by using the weapon that is your hold back card, and then figure out the weapon by using your person hold back card. Then all you have to do is figure out the room. Some of my family does call this cheating but I call it good strategy.

Child Care Story: My MIL took care of all 3 of our kids while we both worked full time, until they were all in school all day. We paid her a little, and she gave up a 10-15 hour a week job to do so. When we told her my wife was pregnant for the third time, which was absolutely NOT planned or hope for, she congratulated us, but told us that if there were any more unexpected babies, we would need to make other arrangements. Yes we adore all three of our now adult children. MIL passed on this past year. I wasprivileged to repay her by physically caring for her 24/7 during the entire pandemic. We all adored her so much, as well as FIL.

That first story truly was nuclear. Imagine your racism not only blowing up YOUR life, but multiple lives within your family. Granted, the situation was a total powderkeg. Other things could've easily set it off, but I can't imagine being the SIL and having to deal with the guilt I would personally feel over destroying so many families.

Red-tailed hawks and great horned owls took puppies and cats all the time in my super rural and deep in Appalachian holler. Anything under 5 pounds would be snatched right up. Occasionally the bald eagles would grab kittens, but they mostly only ate chicks. The hawks and eagles weren't nearly as bad as the owls. My dad saw one pick up our 8 pound cat, but ended up not being able to stay off the ground. Luckily the cat was just a little scratched up. I accidentally hit one of the big ones with my 4runner and its wingspan was bigger than my windshield. Thought the Mothman had got me for a second. I was going around a steep curve and wasn't going very fast, it just stood up on my hood and took off. It was really sad, but at the same time, we never had a feral cat problem so i guess theres that.

Creepy story. So, in high school, my friends and I had a co-ed sleepover for a guys birthday. It was a fun time. Well, it being a sleepover, we decided not to sleep and tell stories, and eventually we went on a late night walk and continued telling stories. We all had a story of a creepy shadow man. All of us had different stories of this shadow man. My story scared them the most. I went into a community attic (honesty, it was just a top floor that just wasn't an apartment in the complex). I'd been there many times, but that time there was that figure. Completely shadow, lights on and bright. I should have been able to see any feature of this man, but he was only a shadow. The lights flickered, something that had never happened before, and it went back to normal. But after the brief flicker, the shadow started to sprint after me. I got out of there before it reached me, and I ran back home. I lived on a military base in Germany at the time. The reason I mention that is because my friends all had a similar experience with this shadow man, all around that same time frame, the late 2000s. They lived in the US, and none of them lived near each other when they had this encounter. It freaked us out how we all had this happen when most of us didn't live near each other, let alone know one another. Something that just sticks with me to this day. I still remember that completely blank void of a man standing in the middle of the walkway. Lights shining down on him, but he was a void. The tiny flicker, then the fear of seeing a shadow rush at me. I was an elementary schooler, so it was beyond scary. I can only imagine what might have happened if the shadow had caught me.
The OKOP team need to go ghost hunting. I think they should go to the original conjuring house and talk to the ghosts there with the people who look after the place.
Vegetarian of 7 years I can say I have never asked strangers or anyone to not eat meat. I will gladly explain my reasonings if asked buts it’s pointless to try to control others decisions and will never change anyone’s mind going about things that way. My advice to that vegan Karen is to focus on how you can change the world yourself instead of worrying about others.

I think it's actually way more racist to say that she can't like characters of a different race. Imagine a little black girl said she related to Rapunzel and she was told she couldn't like her because she's black. The Disney princesses are there for people to see themselves in. The whole idea of them as feminine role models is that you can feel represented by them that doesn't just mean race for example my favourites are Pocahontas and Tiana I'm white. But I always admired the curiousity and passion of those characters. My sister who's also white loves Cinderella and sleeping beauty because she sees her own love for things like sewing and baking reflected in them. The Disney princesses are there for us to love no matter the race.
The 1st story has all the irony a good ending needs. Her insulting op and saying "cookong at some Chinese restaurant doesnt make you a real chef." Then finding out ahes been essentially cooking at a Chinese restaurant the entire time, herself. That was chefs kiss karma.
