My Range Bag: What I usually take with me and have in it

I remember one of your last couple videos ago, where you mentioned how you had a stuck casing and didn’t have a cleaning rod with you. I learned the hard way before, I had a stuck casing and didn’t have a cleaning rod to hammer it out with me so I had to drive home with stuck casing. Now I always bring cleaning rod with me to the range, lessons learned👍

You might want to consider a first aid kit; just a thought if there's an emergency. When I was in a class years ago, there was a lady who was not familiar with guns & she was sweeping all of us. I told her, put the gun down, she kept sweeping so I took the gun and told the range officer. Scary how many newbies handle guns!

My range bag looks similar to yours. One side of my bag has a pocket that runs the full length of the bag. That side holds my tool kit which is a clear plastic box like you’d put lures and fishing tackle in. I have the same tools you mentioned, plus bore snakes in three different calibers, a needle oiler, a 1/8 “ short wooden dowel rod to push a jammed cartridge out. And most of the other tools you mentioned also.

Nice video Big Jay. I have a round wooden dowel 5/32 × 12 inch just in case if those pesky casings get stuck in the chamber. Something light to chuck in the bag for those just in case moments.

Good morning, Jason, to start my critique of your bag. Number 1, just a great choice of bag, exactly the same as mine👍. 2, where is your squib load brass rod. I feel this is an absolute must have, you already have a hammer, .3, First aid kit, as per Mr. Spirit below. Otherwise, I strongly recommend ditching the dumb muffs, buying another set of battery compatible electronic Muffs. I am going to score you 3 ⭐⭐⭐, and it was a tough video to score. You started well, but the finish was a little off. Lack of a first aid kit, electronic muffs & a squib rod. I recommend more practice in your own time, OOOPs I thought I was back in the army.
