I just buried my mother yesterday. We played this song by Angelina Jordan and I know that it touched everyone deeply, and expressed the emotions we were all feeling. This version of this song will stay with me forever.

I'm a 90-year-old man and a grandfather. We know that our grandchildren love us but we also know they must live their own lives. To just dwell on us would be wrong. We want you to simply go for life. Angelina feels sad, and that's ok, but she doesn't need to feel guilt. By doing this piece publicly she shares her grief with the many who love her. Thanks for sharing this, Angelina, so we can soften your sadness and absorb some of your hurt.

I'm watching this as I thought of the memorial service we had for my aunt. I was crying for her and thinking of my aunt and I was singing this along with her. Also my prayers are with you and your family during this time of your loss.

Angelina has been a beacon of joy for the whole world for over 8 years and it just tears at my soul to see her so sad, after all she has given to all of us. I have listened to her singing this song maybe 20 times and to see her in complete sadness and pain makes me feel awful each time. I m crying now to see her crying. Her decision to sing this song as a tribute and an homage to her grandpa shows how fearless and courageus she is, but, at the same time, amply demonstrates that, in spite of all her vocal abilities and control, she is still a little child unable to fight her worst ennemy.

Don't fight the tears, I am a 65 year old man and I have to swallow a lump in my throat and wipe my eyes. The way I see it: Angelina shared her most intimate feelings with her family (her fans).
