My reaction to Sora finally getting into Smash! 

I just realized Sora releases 13 DAYS AFTER HIS REVEAL. IM IN PAIN.

This is why I watch reaction videos. I've never played a Kingdom Hearts game, in my life. But I know how much they mean to so many people, and how much everyone wanted this. It's just nice to see someone so sincerely happy. This was nice.

Sora didn't die at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3, he decided that he wanted to go to Smash instead.

As someone who used to work at Disney Studios, I can verify that the licensing just to make this happen was probably a nightmare even for a huge company like Nintendo. Disney is EXTREMELY protective of their property that they enforce with strict legal standards, and just the fact that the keyblade carries the Mickey Mouse icon on the keychain is a huge legal issue. I am pretty sure that Sakurai and the team worked for a few years trying to negotiate and settle a deal that Disney was satisfied with. It is possible that this might never have happened had it not been for Sakurai's persistence, and to be honest, after learning of how serious Disney takes legal issues, and just their overall strict legal standards, I am surprised this happened at all.

Sora's little laugh in the trailer was perfect. Almost like he's saying to us: 'Don't worry. It took me some time but I made it for you guys.'

Fun fact: This isn't even the first time Disney and Nintendo have partnered up. As early as the late 60's thay did a collaboration where Nintendo licensed Mickey Mouse playing cards in Japan (Before they became a video game maker. They've been around since 1889.) You can say Sora and Mario's handshake is Disney and Nintendo rekindling their grievances.

This reaction makes any other negative reaction completely irrelevant. Imagine being able to make someone this happy. I don't really have any connection to KH but I'm so happy for all the fans that got what they wanted.

The fading emblem, Sora “finally” here, the characters gathered to welcome the final fighter - it really does feel like Sakurai is calling this game fully complete. I see some people saying it’s the ‘end of an era’ or that ‘it’s been fun’, but guys, Sora just came out - let’s go play’m!

Watching your reaction was literally exactly how i felt, it brings tears to my eyes again, watching you go through the roller coaster and reminds me exactly how i felt in the moment. Watching inkling eyes twinkle by the fire light legit gives me chills everytime! The kingdom Hearts franchise meant alot to me growing up and iv also been playing smash since 64. Iv wanted Banjo and Sora for as long as i can remember and the day has finally arrived! You know what is amazing about Sora's release. The way he came out, flying around like a free spirit is as if Sakurai is telling us all is now he is free from this game forever. The Music and sora's appearance is a perfect ending for Sakurai's Exit and standing ovation. The kind of ending that will certainly put a tear to us all. Some may not approve of Sora but let's admit it where we all can now say farewell to the man who started this all, gave us an amazing childhood, teenhood and adulthood. Made so much memories. Thank you sakurai and Nintendo Team for this awesome gaming gift.

This is what I image Papa Sakurai always wanted. He never cared about the meta community (though he always listened and took ideas for balancing) or the importance of characters, he always wanted to make something fun that would bring joy to everyone who had picked up a controller. From Minecraft to Donkey Kong, Papa Sakurai always tried to cover worlds and adventures he knew had touched our hearts. I honestly wonder if he ever watches reactions like this and smiles, knowing he made someone's dream come true.
