@@jasonc3303it’s rough. In my opinion first year LCS looks clearly better on average. EU is really struggling past 20 minutes everything just starts looking gross.
@@willmollard9078 I've seen people say that every year and to me, both regions look worse year to year, but then again. Top LCK teams are really boring to watch lately.
@@Prach5 Nah LCS was a shithole last season, they got better this season. On the other hand, LEC looked fine last year but this season it's an absoulute disgrace.
Specifically at worlds, where 3/4 seeds will face off (unless they changed how many goes from these regions?), because I think C9/FNC/FLY/G2 will be decent quality games
The quality drop happened in 2021, it started with Perkz being booted to NA, and ended with Rekkles being booted to LFL. From that year onwards, everything has been downhill for the region.@@maksimilianmihaljevic9584

personally i think the new LEC format is dog. its good for viewers but i think cooperatively its feels so bad. imagine how hard it must be to try to be even a little consistent when there is so much gap, like if u are a team who either did not make play off or got out early in playoffs, you literally have forever off in the middle of the season, killing any momentem you build and get 0 chance to improve cause you have no way to improve, this i think would also affect the already top teams to a lesser degree. like every other league is grinding away while LEC pros are sitting home eating popcorns and doing fuck shit. another thing is, the stonks of the trophy also drop so hard, to a lot of these players there first motivation is the LEC trophy before anything else, but when you have 4 shots instead of 2 does that not affect motivation to improve and grind, when literally 3 weeks later you can try again?
admit it, EU will never back as 2018-2019 again, no team can create 5-game back-to-back very close as FNC-G2 2019 and they ran it down since what they did to Rekkles and Perkz, trying to destroy each other instead of swaping to push the region like KR CN

Nisqy and PowerOfEvil are two most overrated midlaners EU ever produced. One could play only Orianna/Azir, and other... well we have seen it on video right here.
this is why G2 will never win worlds. the qualiity of opponents they have in EU compared to the quality of opponents KR and CN teams face every split. no one's giving them a proper challenge. they get to worlds then gets beaten by NA. 2018-2019 was the best EU has been. every team except 2 were very competitive. now it's like G2 and FNC with clowns.
