That's really impressive mate 👍 I have PVMs and HD screens in my wet up... Over two rooms. All are switched with Extron Crosspoint using RGB, component and VGA. In one room I can output through a Framemeister and the other through the OSSC. I love to see/compare how other people manage their set ups... Thanks for sharing 👍 👍

Definitely keeping my PVMs in case I expand, but for now I wanted it all on one HDTV. So many good options for connections I can't keep up!

I use the pound cables for my modded o.g xbox. Cheap and i rather not spend any more money. I Just want to turn on/off and play for a bit and move on.

They might be good for short spurts like you said. I tried them out and I'd rather get my crt from the attic. It all comes down to preference in the end!

Nice Vid Matt!! SUPER Clean and lots if information. I didn't know about half of the things you've mention, and it makes getting into the retro environment slightly easier for me since I know what to look for. Appreciate the precaution about Hyperkin. Keep it up. I'll be watching.

If you dont want to plug the audio cables into the sound bar you can use an rca to 3.5 mm into the ossc and audio from component will come through the hdmi cable

Good tip! I do have one of those and did use it for a bit, but I've changed some more things so now so the audio cables are always plugged in to the soundbar. Always changing stuff!

Why do you use ossc on ps3 when it has naitive HDMI?

can't use a capture card over hdmi, only over component. There's no option to disable HDCP on the ps3, but there's no limitation on the multi AV port. So, component to OSSC, OSSC to capture card, no problem. Only helpful for people who wish to capture or stream ps3 games of course, otherwise all you need is an HDMI or component cable.

Awesome setup! I wouldn’t lust after the Analogue NT too hard, you’ve got a pretty good setup with what appears to be a 1-chip SNES (from the looks of the eject button) going through the OSSC via RGB. No way the Analogue will look dramatically better than that!

Thanks! I'm happy with what I got. Didn't want to only talk about my stuff, but also some of the alternatives out there. I would love to have everything HDMI, but because of analogue, that's impossible!
