This way of storing is genius! I used it for my studio in my home and my fabrics are so easy to organise. I use it for my Edinburgh Press cabinet as well. Thank you!
I love the idea of rolling the fabric. I am still going to keep my fabric in lidded totes to help keep them clean from dust, pet hair & any bugs. But i can still roll them in the totes & stand the rolls on end so i can see all that is in the totes. I do all kinds pf patchwork toys, purses, curtains, table runners, etc., so i sort according to color, fabric type & prints with light & dark backgrounds. Boy oh boy i have a lot of totes to go thru & change to this style of storage. LOL
I liked the idea of rolling fabric especially if I don’t have ton of space and it’s better than just keeping them in a storage bin and unable to see what I have. Thanx for the great idea
I store my towels like this, it never occurred to me to store fabric like this. Thank you. It will be much easier than digging through my boxes and the material I want is always at the bottom.
Love this idea. I just sorted my scraps by color but I do like to do scrappy project. However I have to have more bends open to pull different colors. Any ideas.
Carrie Sleutskaya these are cubby bins from IKEA, I believe they are the same measurements you listed. It is amazing how much fabric fits in these. Thank you for watching!
