As you all know I am a huge fan of the Saw movies. The original film spawned my love for the horror genre and basically spawned my love for film as a whole. But due to Spirals recent release, My younger sister showed interest in the series. So join me in witnessing my 13 year old sisters reaction to SAW III (2006) for her first ever viewing.

Dr. Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) becomes a pawn in the Jigsaw Killer's (Tobin Bell) latest gory game. Kidnapped and taken to an abandoned warehouse, she finds Jigsaw bedridden and dying. Her task is to keep the maniac alive long enough for Jeff (Angus Macfadyen), a fellow victim, to complete his own task. Each is unaware that Jigsaw has much bigger -- and deadlier -- plans in store.

Aw, the way you reacted when she seemed past her limits with the broken bones really warmed my heart - Holding her close to comfort her and even offering to skip the trap and summarizing what she missed for her. I was just as upset by the trap - since I'm no good with broken bones, especially if they stick out of the skin - so seeing you react that way just gave me the "I wish I had a brother like you to be able to do the same for me" y'know ? Hoogh sorry for the ramble I just. That was really nice of you to put her comfort first when it came to something that made her distressed

@@btaylerpackard2475 yeah he is slow. Some people out there seem pretty out of it after losing someone so special. It causes your mind to function in a non normal way and irrational at times. He is obviously devastated and has so many memories and decisions running through his mind. Jeff wanted to kill and punish all involved but he finally forgave them. My theory is that he is mentally and psychologically fucked up and it's causing him to not really communicate or move quickly.

My mother had five brain surgeries & the one done on John is one of them. She was excited to see what it actually looked like & she described her experience as the scene played out. So whenever I see it I'm not grossed out or afraid... I just think of my mom & how happy I am that she made it through that. @Chance Welsh compare the early 00s. Vs the early 90s when MOST franchises where running out of ideas and steam and having their worst sequels, the early 00s at least had remakes that no matter how you feel of them where trying to respark the franchises and there where tons of original movies that where very good and even considered classics now... Cube, saw, wolf creek, final destination, jeepers creepers, hostel, inside, the ring .. It was definitely not a low point in horror even if you didn't like all the movies

You guys handled the rack trap really well. It’s important to respect your own limits with these movies, and recognizing that will make the series a lot more enjoyable. I think saw 3 is a definite hump to get over, it’s got some super rough traps and I feel like the next few movies are easier to stomach. Have a great day you guys!

The more I watch this movie, the more I relate and understand Jeff IN THE MOMENT. His hesitation from battling wanting his justice versus doing what’s right and growing as a person is a HARD battle to deal with, let alone in that time frame given. Yes, he is slow but he also learns to forgive which is more growth than what most trap participants go through. Just tragic that it’s all ripped away so abruptly

I think you should collaborate with Emma from Spookyastronauts, a fellow Aussie for you, and do a "That One Scene" with her on one of the "Saw" traps like The Angel Trap or The Rack! I've actually never seen the scene from "The Evil Dead" with the possessed tree branches. Back in uni, my friend Natalie tried to get me the entire film: I knew that scene was coming and I excused myself REALLY quick to talk a walk until the scene was over. I was like "are you bloody nuts?!" to her.

Watched this 3 times already. Funnily enough, I could watch The Rack the first time so much more easily than the original Bear Trap although she doesn't die. I put it down to having a metal dental device glued to the roof of my mouth at the time.

By the way, this movie is a little bit over one and a half years after the first one, because like you said the first one was five months after Amanda’s trap, and Amanda had two years of training before this movie takes place. the way he smirks when he tells his sister a lie about the movies is so funny.
