Sometimes your snake plant is not growing due to over watering or not enough sunlight. These plants prefer more lighting then what a lot of guys may lead you to believe. The snake plant comes from the succulent family and it likes a fast draining soil mix. Your plant is most likely not growing due to the fact that it’s not getting enough lighting or quite possibly something is wrong with the roots in the pot of your plant.
Consider moving your snake plant closer to a window to give it more amounts of sunlight daily. But don’t move it too close to a window so that it gets direct lighting because this is an indirect light plant. You will find that once the snake plant is getting more sun. It is also going to be demanding more water.
On average most plant keepers water, their snake plant once every two weeks. But if the snake plant is getting more amounts of lighting, then it will demand more water and nutrients because it’s growing.
