I live in a 1 bed flat too and I also have a massive courtyard and honestly, 99 percent of the time, my dog would rather be on the bean bag inside. That's an old dog, having a lot of space isn't necessary because it will most likely sleep all day anyway. All they need is love snacks, annual check ups and a daily walk. Oh and 1000 cuddles a day and a kiss on the head goodnight.

@@rebeccabradford7611 Yeah. It's bloody tough. I remember how broke I was at university. It sucked. But I also had so much fun. Dogs can cost a lot, especially if they have health issues. I've been lucky. My dog Bastian is 9.5 now and he is very healthy, we actually saw the vet yesterday for his yearly vaccine and she was saying that he should start getting "senior" blood tests. I almost cried hearing through words "senior." How dare she. He is my sweet baby boy and he will always be a puppy to me hahaah.
