Good to hear from you Mike. My son did a road trip with his stepmom and me and I will never forget it. He had only about 2 hours riding experience on my Victory Vision (at the time , I had two Visions) . We wanted to take a family trip to the gulf from North Bama but the cage was having issues so I said, "let's put him on the Vision, He is , hands down , the best rider I've ridden with. He stayed staggered and in my hip pocket , never drifted back (I hate when riders do that and you are leading). We even had to do a panic stop. He aced it. The Lord is good.
Long or short videos Mike I watch them all . All of your videos are fantabulous, don’t worry about the stuff people say about your videos, watch them all. Some people Just gotta say something regardless of anything people do now days. You can’t win . Just fo your thing when Memphis Mike speaks i listen . Stay strong.
I'm speechless mike good job to you both. I had forgotten you work for UPS. Yes sir you definitely have been working your butt off. Enjoy the rest of your time off and ride safe.
Great to see you and your son having some time together. Valuable moments. Be sure to treasure the time. I was watching your son ride. You taught him well. He is a good rider.

I love that you guys got to do this. I still haven't done a good ride with my boys. He's hitting the apexs like a champ. I rode Highway 9 after I visited with you. Incredible road. And just so you know, I watch them all the way through. Great video Mike.
Fantastic that you all went out together on his first road trip. And those roads look great. We ride some amazing roads in Cali but watching this got us drooling. People unsub for the dumbest reasons, but to each is own. You guys were rollin' ! Stay safe.

I thought did well for sure! He is so sick of the local roads around the house.. I told him, if you can pony up for a couple hours on the interstate, we can have a good time in Arkansas sometime...,.Well....He did!
MemphisMike way to old for that. I retired in 2004. I joined in 81. I was a F-15 hydraulic and flight control mechanic. Started out in Laughlin AFB TX, 83 went to Okinawa AB Japan, then Elmendorf AFB AK, Mt Home AFB, ID. Sheppard AFB TX, retired at Moody AFB, GA. I still live near Moody AFB, in Lake Park GA.
MemphisMike he is setting himself up for success when he gets out. I went from aircraft mechanic to preacher. Trust me I can’t get rid of the old man mechanic and attitude. Most people ask, are you really a preacher lol
Great video Mike, gotta get over there sometime soon. Next trip for me is to finish the Bumpus Tour of Duty and that'll be about 500 miles in one day. Work is the same for us its like peak season busy busy busy we are flying everything we've got.
MM, glad to see that you back out there on the slab. It appears that Chris is pulling that Wing pretty good. Should be out your way in September, first stop is the Green Beetle for some catfish.. Ride safe...
Awesome journey with your son, I'm sure he had a wonderful time with pops. Hmmm, I'm wondering if he'll be getting a Goldwing in the near future? Awesome journey.
love the vid. My son will be taking his first trip to the Massanutten area of Virginia come June. Similar circumstances. He will be on his CB500F, me on my 6th gen wing, and my buddy on his 5th gen wing. I'm hoping between his youth and not knowing what he doesn't know, he will be able to chew off the 1400 mile round trip.
I plan on doing this in a couple years with my daughter. She rides with me now, but hopefully it will evolve to her getting a bike and off we will go. Very cool Mike.
Is you son part of Theta Tau engineering fraternity? My son is an Aero Space Engineer graduate from Mississippi State. He helped established the Theta Tau chapter at CBU with his then girl friend Cathy Holms.
What has caused the increase in shipping during this time? I read that many transport planes are grounded but I hear people such as yourself are working a lot more? what going on?
Klockwerks. have been using for about 9 months now.... Funny, it is a tad smaller than my F4 Stock was, but what air i get, is "cleaner" and does not blow my head around.....also, seems to improve front tire stability. i would read their story on their website. you may find it interesting.
@@MemphisMike901 Yeah I've checked them out, not alot of videos for the goldwing--plenty of Harley riders loving the screen. Yours the 14-18" version or the tall? How is it for interstate cruising? I like looking over the screen if possible, I currently have the stock screen.
