Thank you so much everyone for the kind comments and those that stayed in touch and inquired about me here on youtube. Really Means a lot to this fella!
We all connect to your fun, straight and honest approach to motorcycle life. This is special and for that I say thank you for the content. Keep it coming.
Congratulations to you Mike, after 40 years of hard grueling work on that UPS Delivery Truck, you deserve to take a long break, and enjoy life. Enjoy your Retirement, and start putting some major miles on the Wing, and the other bikes you have. It's great to see you again, and glad you're ok after your little spill. That Ice will tear you up in a heartbeat. Thank God you were able to spot it in time, and get yourself slowed down before hitting it. So glad you got through it, and are still here with us to share your story. Be safe out there.
It is so good to see you back in the saddle again we missed you . Congratulations on the retirement you’ve earned it. Take care and look forward to seeing more videos of your exploits especially the fishing ones and of course your rides I always enjoy your rides . 😎👍
Welcome back Double M!! We missed you big time. Congratulations on 40 years!! You are a rare breed. All roads now lead to maintaining good health and quality of life because these are the wonderful milestones. Retirement is just the beginning of many good things. Love the Bohn Armor on you too. Maybe you make time to visit a Honda dealership and tickle a gen 6 DCT Tour or Bagger if they have one. 🤔 You are always welcome in Texas. Again congrats to you Mikey. You done earned it. Ride safe and ride often. AGATT.
Again, congrats my friend. Nothing like being retired. Great to see you do a vid buddy. I'm planning next year to do VAMM23. Hope to see you there or before. If you ever ride to Nashville, (or I head down to Memphis) we have GOT to meet up!
Congrats on the retirement!!! You deserve to enjoy your life after 40 years of service. I enjoy your videos and your genuineness that you show everyone no matter where you are!! Keep up the outstanding life living and I hope to join you in 4 years on the retirement front. B blessed
Hi Mike, great to see the upbeat attitude after the injury. You're back in the saddle again. I live across the Atlantic in Great Britain and love to watch biking in the USA. Until recently I have been a full-time carer for my disabled Wife for 37 years until her passing in November last year. Beginning of this year I moved a couple of hundred miles up the road and started my life over. I tell you this because the work you have recently retired from has inspired me. I have been a parcels picker/packer since March and will soon be progressing to driving a fork lift truck. Ironic that at the age of 57 I am embarking on my career as you retire from yours. Congratulations on what was a huge decision in your life. Thank you for your inspiration in what has been a living hell through bereavement for me. Keep it safe out there and enjoy daily life at home and wherever the Goldwing takes you. Kind regards and huge respect to you.
God Bless you for your efforts caring for your wife and my condolences to you. Life is a journey and I wish you the best on your new career. Thank you for sharing.
Congratulations on retirement Mike! 40 years with UPS is fantastic. You’ve definitely earned the right to sit back and relax. I enjoy all your videos. Please keep the coming! Take care brother and ride safe. Hope to see you at the end of the Tail of the Dragon again one day.
Congratulations Mike! Good to see and hear from you again. I found you a few years ago when I was thinking about buying a Honda CB1100 and I've been a fan ever since. I have a 2001 Goldwing now and I enjoy watching you and Chris Caliente. Stay safe and maybe I'll see you someday after I retire, hopefully soon.
Congratulations on your retirement! Incredible milestone 40 years, so you graduated high school and got a job at UPS, awesome. Glad you are healing up with the foot, and look forward to more of your video’s.
Welcome back, Happy that you are back on the bike and doing doing well. Congrats on your retirement, 40 years is a looooong time, glad you enjoying it...Welcome to our world of do what you want when you want lol. See you on the next video.
Congratulations man! You will love being retired. I did two years ago at 58. No regrets! I also ride a Goldwing, I have now picked up a BMW 850 and am starting adventure ridding. Great fun!
Way to go Mike. Congratulations on the retirement! I am both jealous and extremely happy for you and your family. Hope to see you out on the road sometime. 👍😎
Great to see another video from you Memphis Mike. I sure do miss having you come by the shop. Next time you're out west, give me a shout. Ill have to show you some of the routes I have in the sierra Nevada mountains.
This is mile marker mike: I’m with you! I worked for Cessna in their business jet division/maintenance service center as a maintenance foreman. Working on aircraft I just couldn’t do it anymore told the boss I put my retirement in. Retired after I turned 60. Been riding long rides. And adding videos of places I go. Actually around the third or fourth of October couple of friends and I will be traveling thru Memphis on our Goldwings on our way to Charlotte North Carolina. Just a suggestion. We can meet up. Watched you since you started RU-vid. And maybe get some pointers how to improve my channel. Had my channel up now going on three years. Sorry for your loss and or setbacks life has given you. Take care.
Congratulations Memphis Mike on your retirement. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Forty years is a long time to do anything. Nothing but the best wishes for you and your family. Glad to see you back on RU-vid.
Congratulations on retiring. I'm gonna try to stick it out for another year. I bought a time out motorcycle camper and am looking forward to doing some traveling when I retire. Really glad to see you making videos again. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Glad you’re back Mike! We’ve been wondering where you went to 😎 Congratulations & Happy retirement! Looking forward to your NEW content and remember,” you better be careful… you beeeeeetttter be careful 😉😃.
Wow Memphis Mike! Man it's good to see you, To hear you and wow you retired after 40 years. All that sounds awesome. Congratulations 🎊! Fishing is a good hobby. My love for bass fishing is what took so long for me to get my Goldwing. I'm looking forward to retirement from my current job in four years, but retired from the Army Reserves after 31 years. Glad you're back and be safe. Keep harassing those bass.
Congrats!! Enjoy your retirement! :-) Glad you are ok as well. My wife and I are 52/53 and sold our house in 2018 and are full time RVing and working remotely. We are seeing the US and riding the Goldwing all over the place. Looking forward to retiring someday as well, but at least we can still travel and see the country while working and saving for retirement.
That sounds like an incredible journey. I see more and more people doing things like that, especially since things went bad in 2020 with Covey. maybe people have awakened that life really can and is too short to not enjoy!
Thank you for posting and sharing. It's because of you and your video's I decided to start riding again. Rode Honda shadow for a couple years and now ride Indian Roadmaster. Congrats on the retirement. I am looking forward to that one day after we get the kids out of college and grad school. Keep posting.
Good to see you and congratulations! Now here is the challenge… figure out a way to combine a little bit of motorcycle riding and a little bit of fishing!
Congratulations on your new found freedom, after 40 years you’ve earned it. It takes some time to get in the swing of it. I retired a year ago this month. The VFR 800 is a popular bike from the past. You get the sport side of it without being folding up like a pretzel. I just bought a 2007 Yamaha Fjr as a second bike for fun rides around my house. My big heavy touring bikes get pulled out for longer rides or when my wife goes with me. Looking forward to your video to come. Ride safe and enjoy your retirement.
Yes, I have missed your videos, congratulations on your retirement! When I retired I was always asked, "what do you do all day"? I just reply, "I do what I want whenever I want".
Love ya buddy!!!! Wish I could’ve come down for another visit. But life happens right. Best of luck with retirement , can’t think of a better man in the wing world that deserves it. 👍🏻💫🇺🇸🌟
congratulations Mike on the retirement and wishes on a happy birthday. 59 years old I wish I was I 59 again . Lol but I think I’m gonna stop and let you catch up. Lol … have a great retirement my friend I see you again.👍👍👍
Good for you about your retirement sorry about to hear about the passing of a family member and sorry about you getting hurt but I'm glad to hear you up I'm glad you're retired on semi-retired now I got 4 years to go before I can be perfectly debt free so I'm just dealing with that time by time trying to take care of a granddaughter that's got a heart problem so we're dealing with that but I'm glad to hear everything's going rest of times going good for you
My favorite RU-vidr is back👍 Great to hear from you Mike and congratulations on the retirement You have a beautiful family and no debt and a FAT bank account man… you ate blessed brother Hey stay safe and hope to hear from you soon
Glad to hear retirement is treating you good ! That’s awesome that you do Bunk a Biker !! Now you’ll have 1,000 requests asking to stay at your place , and get those ribs 🤤
HaHa.....just good choices and decisions helped lead to an early retirement for me! Being maxed out on pension from the Teamsters, I was leaving money on the table!
Retirement is good, i retired in 2010. i don't ride anymore my knees are shot and for whatever reason I don't miss it? I rode steadily for as long as you are old and I guess that was enough... Good to see you...

I think I said this on your FB post, I’m six months away from retiring from the PO after 36 years, and I’m ready!! Congratulations to you!! Sounds like you’re ready to really enjoy it!!
Good luck & congratulations...you gonna love it. if the PO is anything like UPS, things are getting tougher and tougher, and just not as enjoyable as in days past!
@@MemphisMike901 I believe it’s the same, it’s not the same place it was years ago, and I’m really looking forward to getting through one last Christmas!!!!!
