Bobby sounded really great right until his passing (rip) his voice never left him or deteriorated, he was one of a kind and because of Jingle Bell Rock will never, ever be forgotten and today is December 24th,2021,so his song is flying around the air waves right now as I'm writing this.

I was best friends with Bobby's daughter and used to hang out at his house ,My grandmother was married to Bobby's dad he was my grandmothers first husband but they had no children together,And my brother in-law is first cousin to Bobby's daughter,We all was born in Bloomington Indiana and that's Bobby's home town,When he died Bobby lived in Martinsville Indiana,Bobby and his wife Dora were super nice folks.Bobbys first wife Ester was a really sweet lady also who his my brother in-laws aunt.

My late husband and Bobby were good friends, he worked many of our shows my husband promoted, but knew Bobby before that as he was an entertainer and became tight friends with Bobby. He was a loving person and is missed by us yet. Bless his family and my prayers are for you. Love watching these videos, he will always be in our hearts.

Where and when was this performance?? Mr. Helms and his band came to our town and appeared in a show, a tribute to Del Shannon and I think the year was 1991(?). My late husband was a member of the band who hosted this program, and it was absolutely fantastic. Just wondering if this is the same performance? It was very memorable.
