First problem: Commiefornia. Second STI is turbocharged if I’m thinking correctly, and EVERY turbocharged car I’ve ever owned had a blowoff valve … ssssooooo?..
@@Rachelle_Wolf I lived in SoCal my whole life, 6 months ago moved to az and I can tell you the only thing I miss whatsoever is the food hahaha. Out here in AZ no smog, we can do whatever we want to our engines, own some gnarly firepower, open and conceal carry almost anywhere which helps with crime.
@@Rachelle_WolfCalifornia’s problems run much deeper than the car laws. Those car laws don’t magically appear they are implemented by people making those laws and people in voted in positions. I’ll be glad to leave my state but at least it’s not run by car nazis and I can mod it how I want… for now at least
The exhaust? I visited cali for the first time recently. I noticed no Ferrari's, Corvette, Lamborghini, Doge chargers. Those cars are louder than yours stock. Do people just avoid buying loud cars bc if this crap?
Its very silly because Ferrari's and other hyper-cars which come stock with a loud exhaust are legal because that's the way they came from factory. There are also TONS of hyper-cars and expensive cars in California. It's home to Monterey car week-- one of the largest car shows in the nation-- I've seen plenty of single digit or double digit only produced vehicles here. Last year saw 9 ferarri F40's all next to each other (only 1300 produced).
Why do they care if it doesn’t make what comes out of the tailpipe any worse? They should just test the tailpipe emissions that is king if you truly care about the environment and not all this other nonsense.
They rether put ppl like cars in jail instead of ppl that steal in front of them and do nothing to them for stealing or beating up someone. The state of California is mess up bad it wasn't like that when I use to live there.
@@Rachelle_Wolfit’s not really much cheaper, the violations get signed off by the reff upon correction and you pay an administration fee. The problem is the state reff knows what they are looking for and will take a much more in-depth look on top of appointments being 2 months out on average.
@@Rachelle_Wolf last I checked when you get actually reffed the car can’t be driven unless to a shop to fix the issue or to the ref appointment and the car is signed off by the reff. Paying the fine alone doesn’t clear the car as it’s been found illegal to operate on ca highways.
@@lucian7182 my paper that came in the mail said “pay this amount without correction” or “go to a ref and pay for correction fee”. I paid it and car was cleared. I just recently got pulled over again for the same thing and the cop didn’t mention it. I might have to get a smog when it comes registration time, but that’s easy.
