I went to court today and the judge told me pay the fine,so after I pay the fine is that mean my state reff is clear and i can drive it or no i still got to reff it?

Sreynex Choun you’re clear the drive the car, but if you get pulled over again they’ll see you didn’t clear state ref inspection.

No - they hit you with evading taxes since you aren’t paying California registration fees and tags. And California sheriffs are savy to this so if they see you with Montana plates in California long enough they will hit you with it.

There's only three states that you're going to make money in California, New York and Texas. If you got a problem with the sweeping policies. Tell the rest of the states that get a gold star and a participation reward to actually pull their fair share, Stop receiving billions in federal aid, to keep their states afloat. Then California wouldn't dominate these types of politics.

@@edd2184 What the heck are you going on about? Pull what? Not all states need to make a ton of money and be a hub for the wealthy. Some states are incredibly rural and beautiful and they want to keep it that way. All states receive Federal funding and bailouts. What makes California so sad is that they take ANY federal funding or aid being that they 1. Have the highest taxes in the country and 2. Are home to the wealthiest people and businesses in the World and Country. Yet the state has the greatest wealth disparity in the country, some of the highest rates of addiction, homelessness and petty crime. States are supposed to help each other out, its not about pulling weight financially here. A state like Montana will never pull the revenue California does and they shouldnt. As they are 2 completely different states. Progressives dominate California because they control Silicon valley, Hollywood and mainstream media. And the Propaganda machine is spreading all throughout the country. California has always been a Progressive Hub and its only gotten worse. Its so bad now that people openly Praise communism and Socialism now. Imagine that 20-30 years ago that a large portion of the population support Socialism and Communist ideas and policies! People are literally going insane.

Yea everyone laughs at this state and their stupid AF laws. 2 years and I’m moving.

No you can visit for 10 days after that it has to be smogged/inspected but they don’t have to know how long you’ve been in Cali

5 works for cars registered under someone with military orders. I’m not obligated to be smogged and pass inspection since I’m under order to be in California. Military personnel move all the time anyway so DMV essentially made it universal

If you pay bail you don’t need to take the car anywhere. But if you need to take the car into a state inspection location. A hot smog won’t pass.

@@626323909 They should not be complaining about things that do not affect emissions like wheels, gauges, paint, cosmetic attachments, etc. A lawyer would be able to easily fight the whole charge and get the whole thing dropped if they state reffed you for cosmetics and emission irrelevant stuff.

Just a heads up, this won't help with being state ref'd. Sure, you won't have to smog every 2 years or what ever but if you do get state reffed you're still going to have to deal with that. Snogging isn't the issue, unless you can't find a hook up, it's being state reffed that is the issue. Much worse than dealing with smog.

You’ll have to go register your car in that area. So you’ll have to drive to AZ to get the car inspected in that area. Then get AZ plates. Honestly that way is more of a hassle and then you’ll have to lie every time a cop pulls you over for out of state plates.

See the thing is, I was stopped at a place notoriously known for cops who stop modified cars, I don’t live there, I was there for work. I’d like to keep my exhaust on, I live in a place where cops don’t really care for that sort of stuff.

That information should be cleared. Whoever does the test will explain if you pass.

Theses things will mostly happen if you're acting a fool or if you weren't aware they were watching and even then if you're respectful it probably be alright. Sometimes you just get unlucky with a supercop.
