Today I want to speak about my experience working in a cancer research lab, during my undergraduate studies in biomedical science. This was a summer internship that I did after my second year of studies and since a few of you have asked me about it, I wanted to address your questions!

Hey Atousa, If you ever get the chance could you make a video/ video series on the approach you had to approach university in order to get high marks in your exams, keep on top of things, get high grades in assignments/projects etc. Basically your entire approach to all aspects of uni and how you approached different exams/assignments in order to get the higher grades

Thanks Atousa, This is fantastic and appreciate you answering questions. For me as an international student, I believe the industrial placement year would work best. I was particularly looking at Newcastle, although, now I am a bit concerned as you indicated you had 300 plus students in your batch. Not sure how I can get the max from my faculty and not get lost in the crowd. This sounds like a factory setup. Thanks again and keep your videos coming.

I have found all of your videos so helpful! I'm in year 12 at the moment and have been following you all through November. I have a suggestion for a video... or just a question if you don't think it would make a good video and it's about integrated MD/PhDs, and the kind of jobs that you could get with them. I love Biomed and really like the idea of being a medical science liaison in the future, but I still want the door open to go into patient care such as being a GP, so I was wondering how feasible you see an MD/PhD program being... and if there is a way of becoming a GP after doing a PhD, without having to do the 5 years + foundation years at medical school.
