exact same problem mate. Always had really thin hair and even remember one time when I was ten a barber talking with my dad about how thin and fine my hair is. My temples always had thin hair but now I'm 16 and i really can't overlook it anymore. It's driving me nuts cuz if I'm after my dad its doomed and i can basically shave my head at age 24
@@sskies4972 don’t even worry about it man, wait until 16, take pictures and closely document it every few months. If there’s changes, get on minoxidil and derma roll. That will last you until 18 and you’ll be able to start finasteride which will last you decades more than likely. And during throughout that entire time span, you will likely get some regrowth. Not only that there’s gonna be new medicines coming to the market, this new bayer thing can be huge and if anything, you could just get a hair transplant which is like 4k max in turkey and the results are wonderful. Don’t even worry about it man, enjoy your high school life and get good grades so you can afford hair transplants and a nice house and car when you’re older, and that’s assuming you are balding which is highly unlikely at this young of an age
I've been balding since 14 and I'm 19 now I went from looking like a kid to 35 year old man. I can grow a beard easily too within a week. My hairline is a M shape and I just hide it all the time. Sucks going to college and others having such nice perfect hairlines and hairstyles whilst I'm wearing a cap or growing my hair out and putting hairspray on. Its worse when you're working in the film industry too so hopefully I can get a transplant
My temple and front of hair been thin since about 17 years old ,now I'm almost 40 it still thin but I'm not bald, my uncle hair is the same way he is 69 ...I think a cow lick is normal

At age 14 and 15 I still looked like a child, my facial hair didn't start showing up until 16 my neck got a few thick strands then the baby mustache showed up at 17 it was more or less there but still not that noticeable, I now have a partially thick beard with a ton of white hairs that never got color and my beard and mustache haven't connected and I still cant grow a full mustache it looks like something a pubescent teen would have if I try, I cannot grow a goatee or a full beard and I'm 22 right now. I don't know if it's worth mentioning but my arm hair is hardly noticeable, only from an angle can you see the darker hairs, my arm hair basically is the same as when I was 10 and only slightly darkening through puberty. As of now, my hairline seems to be a norwood 1 and only appears to have very slightly receded since age 18 possibly maturing a bit?
Follow up to my first comment I took a deep dive into some pictures from a couple years ago and my hairline has always been like this, all of the men on both sides of my family have hair some have recession which is bound to happen but for the most part none are deep on the norwood scale.

im 14 and my right temple is a solid NW2/NW3 ( MORE NW3) and my left temple is NW2 and my hairline is M-SHAPED do you think im going bald? i had a big hairloss a year ago but now i dont have hair loss. I want to add that my hair has receded within the mature hairline. Top of hairline is half of finger, and temples 2.75 / 2.5cm

Dont worry bro sometimes its just stress and that is temporary hairloss. You’ll be fine trust me i lost alot of hair at 14 and thought id be bald in a year but im 18 now and i still got a full head of hair now. Just make sure u take care of ur hair and massage ur scalp and eat good food.
