I'm 26 and my temples have very slightly gone back. It happened so gradually I've only noticed it recently. Seems to be the mature hairline thing you were explaining
This has also happened to me this year. I am also 26 and i have a lot of hair but my temples have gone back a little but i don´t have any other sign of balding and dont really think i will have. I think its natural but i still use minoxidil just in case.
@@ulyssesvargas152 I’ve had a Cesar cut my whole life ever since I was a child and I still do but under the little fringe that I have my right temple is receding a lot more than my right
I have noticed left side of my head and even my beard is thicker and grows fast as compared to right side. I also realised that I sleep on my left side alot. Does sleeping on one side increase blood flow and make it thicker than the other ?
19 an I got thinning in the middle of my hairline an it's become uneven. But after seeing your videos I got a "fuck it" attitude towards it now and shaved my head once just to see what's up.
I am almost 22 years old. Yh my hair is thank God thick everywhere except the corners of my temple, my brother has noticed some slight thing. I wasnt scared because im sporting a bald cut right now anyway. Im just confused as to what hairstyle to have. Do i keep having short hair and showing off my staggered hairline. Or do i enjoy my hair and let it grow but feel like i am hiding my hairline. I do have a huge forehead(4 fingers) but tbh i think 60% of people have a huge forehead anyways.
My hairline looks noorwood 1 but my right corner is rounded. The other one is straight. From the sides I look normal, it's just from above that you can see a difference between my corners. Does this mean anything?
im 20 and when i was 18 my temple hair only on left side receeded slightly but now i have noticed that left temple hair has receeded more and its looks awkward bcs my left temple is more receeded than right temple
@@Shafeek258my right side has receded far more than my left, my guess is maybe the way you sleep? Like if you sleep on your left side your left corner recedes more? Idk or maybe it’s probably genetic, but I’d recommend sleeping on your back just in case.
Hey Nick, is it normal that you are going through Norwood1 or Norwood2 and noticing sides of the hairline thinner compared to the middle? I'm 24 and from looking at photos from the past I've had Norwood1 hairline since 2016, but it hasn't receded any further in the last 4 years.
I remember when I was in my late-teens, and I noticed that one side of my hairline had receded more than the other. When I did the finger test - where you put your index fingers along your hairline to check how much recession there is, my left side was still pretty intact, but my right definitely went back further. This is where my sleep theory came to the fore. Does the side you sleep on have an impact on which temple goes first?
@@dimplesharma8785 same thing for me rn.. my hairline is further back on the right side while the left is perfect. and I've slept on my right side of my face for years or all my life I guess... I think it's it's just because my thick hair and how I sleep on my cheek/hairline itself
what if my hairline looks normal on one side n the other one looks to be receding cuz my right side temple looks normal n straight but my left side temple looks to be receding what do i do
Mann what an amazing fuckig explanation. I guess u really are the expert of hairloss. Being cocky is cool if u can back it up. Amazing. I am a teenager and I thought i was balding but with ur amazing explanation now I am sure i won't be balding soon. But ey, my hair is not my identity. I will remember that uncle Nick, thank you.
I have Serobehiec dermatitis which is making my hair fall, my scalp burns and hurts and I have a patch on my hair line and hair is thinning too what do you recommend? I think it's genetics tried shampoos don't get relief and now can't even see a specialist as it's closed
Get nizoral I think. It got rid of my scalp problems. 3 times a week. So like monday, wednesday and then saturday and repeat. That is how I do it. I no longer shed tiny hairs.
YTBACCSIXCRY yes I’ve tried min but it takes like 3 months to see results there’s also going to be small shedding process in the beginning but it all pays off. The only downside is u gotta apply it everyday. I do it in the morning same time I brush my teeth. Make it a habit
If u use minoxidil when u just see the slightest results, it will stop blading permanently and will regrow lost hair. BUTT, IF YOU USE THAT AFTER GOING BALD, IT WON'T HELP THAT MUCH. if u want to keep ur hair, then use minoxidil asap
@@Shafeek258 yup it's true . And yes you have to keep taking it forever ... If your balding has a strong relation with genes ( if your maximum family members are bald or balding ) then even minoxidil won't help... you'll go bald eventually
@@uminohoshi_ iam only 19, and my temlpes started to receed, in my family all my uncles are bald ,so I guess shaving my head is the best option available at the future, iam already unattractive with hair , so without hair I look more worse, I guess I have to accept it and move on , and Also wear a cap 😅, I can't take these medications for my whole life, thanks for the reply tho,
A lot of the stuff you say is wrong. You said ninja was balding and made a Reddit post, but he never was balding and has a juvenile hairline. It was the way his hair was positioned. The Norwood scale isn’t a reliable source. And you say teens don’t go thru hairloss which they do. I have some friends who are already experiencing hairloss or ACTAULLY a mature hairline.
I’m 25 and I for sure have a receding hairline but I’ve never had a perfect hairline looking back at photos but it seems it’s rounded off instead of a V shaped hairline. My dad isn’t bald my grandpa isn’t bald and I can’t grow a beard
I have the same thing but can grow a beard. My temples thinned but haven’t receded any worse in 2 years. The rest of my hair is extremely think so I’m not worried, knock on wood.
