We were in and out within 15 minutes picking up our from Kansas City. It was the best car buying experiencing we ever had! Like 10 minutes showing us the car and another 5 minutes just talking. In case you all did not know Tesla will reimburse you for car rental to the facility on the pick up day. The car is amazing and we could not be happier with the purchase. We have put so many smiles and laughs on peoples faces from fart mode and roller coaster mode :)

Congrats man. I got my model 3 in the other location in Vancouver about a month ago. My order and delivery experience was pretty smooth though. I ordered my model 3 on a sunday evening and they called me up the following day to ask how i intend to pay for the car (financing or cash) then they called me up on tuesday to inform me that the car configuration that i ordered was available in stock and that i can come pick it up the next day if i wanted to. I made an appointment to pickup the car that weekend and everything was pretty smooth sailing. Probably took me an hour and a half to get all the docs and insurance signed. My delivery guy wasn't as detailed as your guy though. He just went to the basic stuff and did not spend time to go through all the sections in the software that your guy did. He just showed me how to pair my phone, setup a driver profile, set my car seats, steering wheel and side mirror adjustments, how to set to drive, reverse and neutral and asked me if i still have any questions and he was gone. I have to admit the car is great but the delivery guy could have made the whole experience so much better by spending more time to explain to me the features of the car. Anyways, welcome to the EV world.

My question is how do you charge your car? I live in a condo and my strata will not install charging stations. Do you have any problems charging the car at your home? I look forward to your comments.

You should spend that 20 minutes walking around and inspecting your new Tesla before accepting delivery instead of yapping it up with Ernesto. You could learn all that stuff at home later

I can’t imagine being in a car like that. It looks so Richie rich for my taste. I can imagine how many people would scratch it up or ding it on purpose. Even if I had money I wouldn’t buy an expensive or expensive looking car. I think the Chevy bolt is more my style. Subtle. I don’t know how people with cars like this do it. I drove off the Fremont lot with the wrong car back in August... I was disappointed with the acceleration and started clicking around the screen, realized it didn't say dual motor anywhere and the vin was wrong... When I returned it I got the "that happens all the time" response.

Set your charging to 90 percent as a matter of course. Charging to 90 percent will give you the longest battery life, every 45 to 60 days you should charge to 100 percent to equalize all the battery cells. It may take three or four days to reach maximum range then reduce the state of charge to 90 percent for a regular charge. Do you have a regular parking location? If you do you might want to install a destination connector so you want to remember your ABC's " always be charging " this way it is all ways ready to go with a full charge/range. Congratulations! Congrats. I just ordered one yesterday 2-4 weeks wait. The Vancouver Tesla site is moving 80-140 models 3 a day. People are lining up early in the morning to pick up their car. It started 1st week of May when the Canadian Federal rebate took effect. Hopefully, by the time I pick up my car it won't be busy.

I ordered mine years ago. I had an existing lease when it was my turn, so I pushed out the delivery date to when my lease ended. Took delivery at home couple days ago. It rolled right out of the factory and a guy drove it a few miles right to my house :-). Easy peasy! Loved the experience.

Yes the electric cars may seem better for the environment they are actually have the same effect as gas powered cars that’s because of what the electrical batteries are made of they are horrible for the environment when the batteries die
