My Testimony… Jesus Changed My Life

I got saved at 19, when I first got saved I would just sit there and be amazed by God's creation, all the trees and grass and what not

Amen hallelujah! So grateful for u Hannah. Your changing many lives, but the power and grace of God.♥️🙌🏻🙌🏻 I am 13, and I was saved a year ago. Oh I tell u! Everyone reading this comment, Young or old, there’s nothing better than knowing Jesus and seeking his face🥰🙌🏻🤍 it’s never too late!!

Please pray for me. I’m sorry that I continue to cry out for prayers. I’m still struggling to provide for my two autistic children since losing my job over not getting the vaccine. I have pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, so I’m all alone. Both of my sons are non verbal so things are more difficult for me. I don’t know how we are going to make it through. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I don’t know how I’m going to make it. I’m so embarrassed by my situation. I’ve been put down and mocked over my circumstances. It’s hard to hold my head up. BUT NO MATTER WHAT. Even as I face homelessness with two young children. I have Faith that God will provide! Faith over Fear! I believe.

Without suffering there is almost no way to have a relationship with Jesus, in an intimate way. Suffering brings a connection with Him that only few have truly known. Through personal suffering a man or woman, even a child, can not only see Jesus, but feel Him. I have seen Him many times and in ways I simply find difficult to talk about. I was able to take many pictures of both the good and evil many do not see. Mine were not visions or dreams, but literally taken away while I was fully awake. Along with the Holy Spirit, God comes to me so much, as do angels. Again, these are events I simply find difficult to share in detail. As much as I have researched and tried to find others, or at least one, who has experienced anything close to what I have experienced, I have not encountered one. Either way, I wish and pray good tidings and blessings on you, Miss Hannah. You are an inspiration during these trying times.

What can I say? Wow! Your story is similar to mine. I grew up going to church I was part the youth group,etc.I remember when I was younger before I was a teenager. My older brother who was saved at the time told me about Christ he lead me in the sinners prayer but my heart wasn’t there. When I entered my high school years I got some what rebellious. I was one thing in church I was something else outside of church and just like you I wanted to be a part of the in crowd. And I was to certain extent,now the drinking and drugs? Nay I didn’t go there. God was keeping me from that,when I look back on it. I didn’t want anything to do with Christianity I thought being a Christian was boring ,etc. It wasn’t until I was nineteen one May evening back in 1987 I was going up to my bed room,when I got into my bedroom( i was still living with my parents at the time) there was sofa that I would lay on from time to time. Some thought came to mind that had to do with the Blaspheming the Holy Ghost or what ever it was it caused the fear of God to hit me so hard that I fell on that sofa and started to cry out God I said lord don’t throw me away I don’t care what people think or say I’ll serve you no matter what,etc. (weeping uncontrollably) when I got up from that sofa I was a changed man. The Lord gave a different perspective on things like we don’t have be afraid of death,etc. Thank you Lord God for Salvation through your son Jesus Christ. Now the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I was on a missions trip to China in 1990 we were based in Hong Kong smuggling Bibles across the Borders of China. This was a 2 week thing my older brother and one of my in-laws prayed over me that I would receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. And sometime later I came back to Hong Kong,was there for 3 months and 2 weeks. The first trip we made into the mainland I was ridding a rundown public transportation bus in shen-zen inside the border of China. When all of a sudden I started speaking in prayer a language. I hope and pray this touches peoples hearts who ever reads this and yours.

I have a similar testimony. I was brought up in a christian family, but I didn't truly have a relationship with God my father. When I first saw the supernatural power of God, it made me realize that there is so much more to Him. From that point on, I was super hungry for God and started having encounters, hearing his voice and received the gift of tongues at a young age! I can testify that I never knew the world!! It's true that we don't need an extreme testimony to touch others and glorify Jesus.

I grew up in church and under doctrine much like what you are talking about. I was a good boy until I turned about 16 years old, and then I rebelled. I always believed in God, but got involved in pretty much everything that a young person back in the 90’s could get involved in. Drinking, sex, drugs, bad music, etc. I got engaged and almost got married to my childhood sweetheart who also went to same church as I did and went to same Christian school together when we were young. She left me when I turned 20. Then I started slipping even further into sin and doing things that I am too ashamed to repeat. Slowly I started to get my life back on track and it seemed like no sooner that I thought I was doing good that my brother died unexpectedly in 2016. After this I fell into depression and alcoholism and fought constant suicidal thoughts. I prayed so hard and was finally delivered from this though. And the girl who left me (mentioned above) I ended up marrying some 20 years later after she had left me. Today we have three children and center our lives around Christ. My children now go to the same Christian school that I went to when I was there age and the same church. I thank God for my trials, because if I hadn’t went through them I would never know what faith in God could do. I don’t think that everybody has to go through such things in such severity to learn this, but I am hard headed. Anyway, I pray the lord blesses you all.

Your testimony really hits home Hannah :D I was also born in a Christian household and when I started getting to grade 9 I started watching inappropriate clips on RU-vid and did weird stuff(no one irl know that) while acting well in front of other people. There was this side of me where I would do anything to be perfect in front of my parents, teachers and peers. It wasn't until December 2022, that I was filled with anxiety and God decided to talk to me in a Christian song and told me that He manages everything and that I need to have faith in Him. It didn't just end. I didn't understand why I was acting that way and until May 2023 I finally figured out why: I wanted to please people. I wanted to look perfect. And I always felt like the people I care about have high expectations of me. After knowing that, God gave me some questions through one of my trusted adults and I started to find answers. I got them. And I found them all in the Bible. (That's the beginning arc lol) Yet, one day I was not cautious and sinned again. Immediately after that, I felt numb and uncomfortable. It was midnight and I was like, "WHERE ARE YOU GOD???" I was desperate. I lost the connection with God. I was crying. After that, it was better, I could sense He was back but felt distant. After a few days, I was still feeling unwell. I was in the bathroom using the toilet and somehow I prayed or something like that? idk XD I said, " Satan, get out. I've fallen this time, but I know that Jesus will save me and forgive me when I repent. I'm going to Jesus and you cannot stop me. And with the Holy Spirit, I will not fall again. So Satan, get out. I am with Jesus.(not exact wording but similar :p)" After this declaration, I felt so much better. And I listened to Christian songs like crazy, I was hungry and I needed the Gospel and the Holy Spirit 24/7, like food. (That's the middle arc, for now) And that's it :D There are probably more for me in the journey with Jesus, but yeah :D Glorify God to the highest :D

Great video! It’s the power of the Holy Ghost that gives us power over sin. Praying in the Holy Ghost is one of the most powerful and important things we can ever do.

Amen sister well said I became Christian about 2 years ago and believe me surrendering to God was the best thing I did in my entire life, knowing that God always be there no matter what you go through in life is something amazing. Do not underestimate your testimony, it is huge. How great Is our God that he would keep you and not let you be exposed to all the darkness of the world.

The Lord wants to have a intimate relationship with me every single day. I'm learning more to trust His Word daily. The Lord is glorifying His name through your life. Hey please pray for me I want to seek the Lord but sometimes when I am doing more and spending to,e in the word I feel anxiety. It’s a stressful period but I constantly feel I am not doing enough. I am saved by grace I know but I have been struggling. Feels like each week I have a new problem and I don’t want to keep being a burden for others around me. I am so weak and want to read the word more but I feel so relaxed taking pleasure from Worley things, I don’t know how to balance this ! I feel bad for watching tv, or wanting to work hard on my goals, I keep praying the Lord will speak to me and guide me directly, and don’t know where I’m going wrong. I sometimes feel like a lost cause going back and forth even with my joy in the Lord.

Read Acts 2:38, 1 peter 3:20-21, 1 Cor 10:1-2 ( Farao that is put as a symbol of satan was defeated only in the water) Baptism represents putting on the rightous body of Jesus.

I always believed in God when I was 10 but never understood what it meant to follow Him until I was 17 and that's when I truly gave my life to Him and live for Him everyday now

My testimony is interesting, I never really rebelled as a teenager, but I was raised Christian and had my faith shaken and became Agnostic for a while because I had dated a girl, and she was Hindu, and when she broke up with me because an astrologer told her we weren’t meant to be… Well the Christian in me knew to stay away from astrologers, but it just really shook my faith because she is such a beautiful person, I just couldn’t come to grips with the idea that she would go to Hell, I just couldn’t get over that and decided for a while that Christianity wasn’t for me. And honestly, I remember reading from The Scriptures that God warned the Israelites not to take wives from the Baal-worshippers because they would lead them astray, and I’ve always felt The Holy Spirit get repulsed inside me when I’d look at a Buddha statue in Chinese restaurants and stuff, but it was as if all of those teachings and repulsed feelings were hidden from me for the year that we dated. And I ultimately came back to The Scriptures when I decided that, after all this, I needed to prove which religion is right, and prove whether God exists. When I was deciding how to prove religion, there was this little voice that tried saying to me, “Prove Christianity,” and it’s funny, to that voice, my Agnostic self said, “Forget that, I’m not going to start my religion-proving by listening to some voice inside me! That would already bias my exploration!” And then the voice said, “It’s ok, you don’t have to believe this voice, or believe Christianity right now. Just when you are exploring the religions, explore Christianity first.” And I said, “Ok, that I can do.” And as the Bible says, prove all things, hold fast that which is good, I explored Christianity, trying to prove God’s existence. Well, spoiler alert, God is not a chair, you don’t prove His existence, he reveals Himself to you. That’s more accurately what happened. But I ultimately proved God’s existence through prophecy, because of 2 Peter 1:17-19, which says, “And [God’s] voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with [Jesus] in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed…” In other words, understanding a “prophecy hidden in parable” and watching it get fulfilled is “more sure word”, or more sure proof of God than hearing God’s own voice!!! So that is how I set out to find God, by trying to understand prophecy. And through that exploration of Biblical prophecy, I found Christianity to be the True faith because Christians are the ones right about Jesus, but we should live our lives celebrating Passover instead of Communion (Communion is just a watered-down Passover), like the Jewish people celebrate, and be on-fire for God like the Muslims are, even though the Jewish people and the Muslims have come to God, but have not come to Jesus yet. I also found in my religion search that there will come a Great Day when Jews, Muslims, Atheists, Agnostics, Hindus, and Buddhists are called to God and to Jesus, that Day will surely come, it is just not here yet. Amen!!!!!

I think testimonies like yours are powerful, testimonies that shows that it is possible to raise our children the right way, that they won't fall Into the world so badly, I've had family say things like they will get Into this and that, the parties, alcohol, other bad stuff that ppl of the world will get into as they grow up, jst because many of us went through stuff like that, it doesn't mean my kids will too, I will continue to declare that they will do great and mighty things for the kingdom of God, my testimony, I'm jst over 3 years sober from drugs, was addicted to meth for 7 years, almost 2 years of needles, before I got into meth I was an alcoholic and addicted to other drugs for around 6 years, God actually used Christian rock music to reach me, after a few years I was pulled away from alot of music that was very ungodly, keeping me in a suicidal state, but the lead singer from band that God used to help me, and to draw me nearer to him started doing Sunday live streams, this one night I was lead by him to watch 2 recorded live streams both were touching me and helping me, before the second one was over I almost went to bed because it was after 4 am and I was coming down off of meth, so I wanted to sleep but the suddenly said out loud what's another 18 minutes, they started praying for ppl dealing with suicide I was already In tears my whole face my head lit up like hot pointy goosebumps pulling outward, right then I was delivered from suicidal thoughts, I had them daily for years, then about a month later that same artist had a 12 week devotional and my sister got me it for my birthday, when I started the first week I was still doing needles, each video i watched I felt different it was so good lol, then during the first week I got my personal journal in the mail I was so excited to get it and to be doing the devotional, so I made a post of how excited I was on their fb private group page, and said that I hoped that one day I could say no to drugs, I never asked for prayers but then ppl I didn't know at the time started praying for me, during rhe next 5 days or so I felt lighter and lighter till one morning May 13th jst over three years ago, God encouraged me to say no to drugs in my mind, I did I was so happy I couldn't even do that before then I was able to speak it and from that day I never relapsed lol, before my house used to be a party house the a trap (drugs) house now it's filled with children of God, I live next door to my parents we used to have a line up of vehicles for parties now we've had line up of vehicles for house meetings, he's been using our family and others for our community, hosting church and house meetings, so thankful for him to chose and to use me

Firstly, you don't get saved by repenting of your sins. Turning from sin has nothing to do with salvation. Repentance in regards to salvation is repenting from unbelief to belief and trusting in his sacrifice and finished work on the cross for salvation. Secondly, biblically speaking in tounges is simply speaking in different languages, the bible Is very clear about that. It was so for the deciples to preach Christ to the gentiles at a time when it was spread through oral tradition alone. That gift has ceased because we have the finished scriptures. The insane pentecostal hola bola language is demonic and not from God.
