Beautiful Bible. I have a purple Bible-ESV.

I just got this exact Allan Bible and before I could even use it we got sick with Covid! I just left it in the box. It was a month before I opened it again and saw the wonderful Concordance and lined pages in the back. lol Anyway, soon I will be getting to it, when my head finishes clearing. Sorry about the blood, but it could be a great reminder for remembering the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. Wonderful 'chit-chat'... can't wait for my backordered Schuyler to come.

Great choice Cat! I recently bought the ESV Purple and its a nice change of pace with the blue under silver. Most of my premiums have the red under gold. Happy Bible-studying!

Wow sis! That bible is beauuuuutiful! But God is most likely teaching you what you said - use it Cat! It's yours to use not look at it's prettiness only (which we are all tempted to do with such a stunning bible!). I love the blue gilding, it makes it pop as you said. I am so happy for you and it's one that maybe one day I could have in my collection, God willing! That is so gorgeous. I no idea premium bibles could be so elegant looking. I guess when I think premium, I picture basic black calfskin and gold gilding. Wow I have a feeling you wont be able to put that bible down once you start in it.

I fell in love with purple earlier this year and was somewhat rewarded by finding a Schuyler in their version of purple. I would have preferred something more purple and less brown, but I love it anyway. It is the only premium Bible I own and will probably be the last one I buy for myself. However, my passion for purple was satisfied when I found a beautiful purple soft touch KJV Bible from Christianbook.com, that I use for reading only as well because there is no room for notes anywhere in it. But the cost was unbelievably inexpensive and I love not only what's inside, but I truly love to see it atop my stack of more costly study Bibles. I, like you, realized that the true value is that God is speaking to me. Thank you for sharing your story. I'm sure many people benefited from it.

I appreciated your video very much. Gorgeous Bible! As for me, I too did something to a new Bible (about a year ago), the highest retail priced Bible I ever bought, and fell asleep with it, woke up grabbing it as it fell out of my grasp, and plowed a big scratch right on the gold gilt! But you know what? Scratches had been my OCD...like no! But there it was, and it actually was a place/event where the Lord did a work in me, and I soon got past it, and began to love that Bible. Strangely, the incident was where the Lord healed me from my past about this issue. I soon began to write it in, and made wonderful notes. By the way, many years ago, I heard from a lady who was in a Bible study held in a living room, and suddenly right at a verse they were reading a small drop of blood appeared right there by that verse in her Bible, and no one could figure out where it came from. Perhaps the incident will become precious to you in time, knowing we are in His Image and His Children, Born Again. God bless you in Jesus' Name.

Something similar happened to me too with my new green Schuyler bible I got for 2020. While my husband was holding my bible my baby touched the side with his hands and left his finger prints on the gold edges. But beautiful bible!! I also been wanting a purple bible but their hard to get.

I would say then....that this is more of a "Premium" Bible than it ever was. It's very special about the blood on it's pages. Very. I am trying not to want a premium Bible, but the wish keeps coming back. At last, I thought to pray about it. God knows . I don't really need it...just want it. I left it with HIM. XXX
